1141  Economy / Services / Re: Pachinko Signature Campaign Full Members and Up(OPEN){ESCROWED} on: September 08, 2015, 10:58:25 AM
campaign is now open again. we welcome back any old members as well as new users also
So issues because of which the campaign was closed are solved? And was the 20btc stolen from the site covered up?
i would assume the issues with the site were solved, there was a problem that  arose because of the applied fix earlier i believe.
as for the 20 btc stolen, nothing was covered up, the admin himself disclosed that the btc was stolen, whats there to even cover up in the first place? theres nothing shady going on from the admin's end.
By covered up I meant are they back to the same amount they were before, even after the 20btc was stolen? If not why did they end the signature in the first place, anyway I too can see nothing shady is going here, just had some questions, and got curious.

nothing shady happened here period. why would you even assume that? owner lost 20btc due to some dude scamming basically. noone tried to hide it nor did they have reason to hide it. owner couldnt afford to continue the campaign. pretty simple to see if you ask me. let me take 20 btc from you and see if you feel like not shutting down your site and fixing some issues. cmon dude be real
Seems you misunderstood my statement, I didn't mean that anything shady was going on with the site, just curious how the admin managed to restart it again, and if it was in his power to do so even with 20btc lost, why close it in the first place.
And lastly, don't take any offense from my queswtions, just a curious guy here.
by covered up im assuming you meant "recovered losses," language barrier im guessing. the site was taken down for a while for the admin to apply fixes to prevent such an issue from arising again, and to also recover some bankroll i assume. regardless, the site is back in working condition.

1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 08, 2015, 09:51:57 AM
Maybe the question should be since when did gambling became right?
IMO, gambling is wrong since you are trying to beat someone in exchange of money/bitcoins.
if its for fun and no money involve its ok but I dont think its considered gambling.

rather than right, i would say gambling is accepted more than anything. imo, its because adults are (or should  be able to) make their own decisions regarding gambling and their finances. also, when you say "exchange of money/bitcoins, it makes it sound like you are talking about  trading rather than actually gambling.
1144  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pachinko - Highly Addictive Bitcoin Game |NEW Promo Board by ndnhc|1% house edge on: September 08, 2015, 08:18:35 AM
took a short break from the forum but glad to see you guys are back online right when i return, been looking forward to this Smiley
also looking forward to seeing my board up on there sometime too Smiley

Guys do you know that KONAMI the game publisher makes more money by operating pachinko machines in Japan than actual games? I found that fascinating  Cool

That's not hard to believe. There are only less than half a dozen profitable game publishers. The rest are all struggling. Maybe its due to piracy of games.
its impossible to really tell how bad game piracy is, but i also remember reading up somewhere that it didnt affect the companies profits as much as initially thought. could be wrong, but i cant really find the sources for this either.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 08, 2015, 08:13:33 AM
Gambling can be addictive like alcohol  but it should't be wrong to gamble $10 once in a while. The best and safest way to gamble is to only bet as much as you can afford and always play once in a while.

Sometimes human can't control their greed to achieve more and more that's why new bettor try to gamble some and when he get addicted, even his/her family must help him from gambling addiction before going deeper..
imo those people need to learn to help themselves, theres no point in having other people make you stop if you cant even control yourself from dropping more money on a game when youre far in the hole. if they continue to rely on an outside influence to stop gambling, they would simply continue to gamble in the case those influences were not present. my thought here is something along the lines of "feed a man for a day, etc."
1146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teen coaxed friend to commit suicide, then tweeted how much she missed him on: September 08, 2015, 07:54:36 AM
Well now all the information has come out, she definitely belongs in jail for being a crazy and manipulative sociopath.

She's definitively a sociopath and evil manipulative bitch, but I'm on the fence on whether she should go to jail as abhorrent as her actions were. The dude was an idiot for even staying in communication with her but as far as I'm aware telling someone to go kill themselves isn't against the law. He should've ignored it and moved on.
i dont blame the guy at all, suicidal people dont think the same way a person in a normal state would think. maybe he thought this sociopath was the only outlet  he had left.
as far as weather or not her actions were legal or not, assisting people with suicide has legal restrictions iirc, and is only legal under certain circumstances. not only did she tell him to just go kill himself, she actively coaxed him to continue with the act. she definitely belongs in jail until a therapist deems her able to integrate back into normal society.

I am absolutely disgusted by this. This woman believes that men are nothing but disposable tools meant to end their lives in order to provide her with sympathy and attention from her peers. Michelle Carter should kill herself.

"Days prior to Roy’s suicide, Carter was allegedly telling her friends “it’s her fault that Conrad is dead, even though he was still alive and speaking and texting with her regularly,” police said.

South Coast Today reported that on July 11, 2014, Carter texted a friend saying she couldn’t locate Roy and was “a mess,” then an hour later texted Roy and allegedly said, “Let me know when you’re gonna do it.” "

Guys really need to man up and see how women are really are, that girl was just a narcissistic egomaniac with no feelings.

I know some nice girls that are kind and helpful, but there are these sluts who just fuck around and want to steal your money and life power.

Just ignore these vampires, and let them starve without attention, narcissists will starve without attenton, so let them.
i really dont see much hope for improvement on this girl, especially if she is both narcissistic and a sociopath; a narcissist will always be justified in their actions in their own heads, and you cant get them to relate to how other people they feel either. ive got a feeling whatever therapist picks up this girl's case isnt going to make much progress into getting her to integrate into normal society.
1148  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Account Generator on: September 03, 2015, 10:06:36 PM
I would like to buy an account generator. I have more PayPal than bitcoins, so I'll prefer to use PayPal to buy the generator.

Please send ME a PM because, quite frankly, I don't have the time to chase all of you and send a PM. There's a lot more of you than me.

Thanks!
please clarify, are you asking to buy access to an account generator or asking to buy a script for an account generator site? if its the former, i can direct you to someone that accepts paypal for payments to their site.
1149  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling League of Legends accounts. on: September 02, 2015, 07:24:29 AM
are those account botted or hacked? what about skins / runes? do you accept escrow?
judging from the op, they are probably botted accounts.

Can the Eu account transfer to NA?

also, do you have any previous vouchers? since I need to redo my placements.
I'm assuming the transfer would be at your expense.

I've red about this online.
I feel bad about the guy but girl needs help to.
Because if no helps her she'll do it again maybe this time she'll do the  killing.
likely not, imo her motive in pressuring her friend to kill himself was to bask in the attention that would follow as a result of her friendship with him; an attention whore.
she clearly has some psychological problems (sociopath? correct me if I'm wrong), possibly multiple. she clearly values some temporary attention more than a human life though, and people like that can't be part of a normal society.

my mouse isnt working properly (namely the left mouse button and the ability to click using the touch pad, i will give 0.01 to anyone who can tell me a way to fix it that works, will use an escrow if u uys want

It mean your mouse is not working anymore, I guess you buy new mouse again

my mouse isnt working properly (namely the left mouse button and the ability to click using the touch pad, i will give 0.01 to anyone who can tell me a way to fix it that works, will use an escrow if u uys want
Maybe your mouse it's a bit worn out:
http://www.instructables.com/id/how-to-repair-a-worn-out-clicker-on-an-optical-mou/
Or just search in Google "fix mouse button".

If your mouse is old and it's worn out, you can repair it yourself.

you guys didnt even bother to read the op, and its fairly obvious you didnt. both the touchpad and mouse LMB are not working.

also tarsua, a long shot buy try giving your laptop a good shake next to your ear, see if you can hear anything shaking around or just loose. again, long shot but if you hear something its very likely hardware related.
1152  Economy / Services / Re: 0.01 Bounty on: September 01, 2015, 11:57:55 PM
its most likely you need a driver for that mouse or install one.

outside from that, try youtube and find out the problem if people have a scenario for that model?

doesn't make sense, if it was his mouse driver, his touchpad would be working fine.

in the case it is a driver problem, it would be both the touchpad and mouse drivers being faulty and causing the exact same issue of the left mouse button not working. just in case though, try reinstalling both drivers. however, it being a 7+ year old laptop, the problem being hardware-related is likely. reinstalling Windows might help too, in case of software rot.

1) To discredit the bitcoin: it will be easy to malicious journalists to make the association between Bitcoin and terrorism.

2) From jeopardize your site as a whole, at least in some countries where advocating terrorism is a crime.

So I ask you, with all the respect I owe you, to change the forum charte to this type of provocation does not happen again.
first of all, its just 1 person doing that, and it says nothing about the rest of the people on the forum. it makes no sense to draw a conclusion that says everyone related to bitcoin are terrorists because one person acts rude on a forum related to bitcoin and insults people, which is why im guessing this thread was made: because you felt insulted by this person. press "ignore" under their name and move on.
1154  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evasion x2 (Never) , Please Help. on: September 01, 2015, 02:54:12 PM
Why are localbitcoins links against the rules?

from reading the OP. it sounds like the banned user sent multiple unsolicited PMs containing localbitcoins referral/affiliate links to some users. those are against the rules.

It was not an ad or affiliate link, it was his own sales links and in the PM he was trying to sell bitcoin for real.
He still sells bitcoin with the same username.
it's still unsolicited spam, people dont like getting messages with advertisements constantly, and likely reported the message, which resulted in your ban.
1155  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which block explorer do you use? on: September 01, 2015, 05:35:29 AM
I use blockchain.info , same like most of people here, from what i read. I'm guessing it's hard for other competing sites to get users to switch their
habits and preferred block explorer when the one they're using is doing the job almost flawlessly.

Only in cases where there's some sort of downtime, or other unavailability i'm forced to use blockr.io as an alternative, but i don't find it as good,
so i bounce back to blockchain.info asap.
wouldnt call it near flawless at all, they have a problem with accepting spoofed transactions into their ledger, transactions that dont even show up on any other block explorer.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3fv42j/blockchaininfo_spoofed_transactions_problem_aug_4/

just one of the links that can be found. after learning about these incidents ive since switched over to blockr.io

Its shame people are pretty desperate, but not hes in a worse situation before since he got negged.

How does one still get invovled even with negged rep cause i notice hes still in another campaign lol. people pay negged accounts wth?
some campaigns do, i know that yobit accepts pretty much about anyone and i think they pay for just about any post, even the spammy ones. the cloudmining.website campaign pays negged members as well, but at a lowered rate. not sure if their campaign still around though, think they are.

1158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining as sole source of income on: September 01, 2015, 12:16:57 AM
Why not CEX.io?

I plan to reinvest 50% of monthly income

I don't see how I could lose money when it's being mined 24/7>?

You need to read more about mining in general and cloud mining.  There are fees including electricity on reputable cloud hashing.

Difficulty and bitcoin price comes into play.  No form of mining is a for sure bet, yes you can lose good amount of money.   You could reinvest income and end up with bigger loss.

I love mining and am not against it I just highly suggest reading about difficulty and price, and ROI.  Most ROI were talking in the hundreds of day's not 30 day range.  And again not guaranteed.

What is ROI?
return on investment.

I used a mining calculator..  And this is what I got..

https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/mining/a/FZ9MunyBPphCxLnrGeaS3P

$7000 a month with 10k starting..  Reinvesting 50% each month..  This doesn't sound unprofitable?

You are going to have a tough time finding miners that don't need electricity and can do that many hashes per second. (you have a 0 in the power use field).

there are some people that can manage to find a decent amount of free electricity though, the problem is maintaining and replacing those miners in that case. however, for the few that can manage a decent amount of free electricity and put in a decent amount into buying mining hardware, i imagine roi would take less than half a year for those people.

now OP try to buy a new full member account
thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1167490.0

now OP try to buy a new full member account
What is wrong about that? Am i not allowed to do that?

Where is that rule?

Regards,
Joust
nothing wrong with that, but considering this thread, it makes people think that youre going to use that bought full member account to  pull off another attempt on scamming a sig campaign or something. you can say "oh i wont do it again," but you did only admit to attempting to cheat the campaign only after being caught. nothing says you wont do the same with the next account, especially since you made that thread only after it became apparent the defaults werent going to remove their -ve tags on you.

calling complete bs until you can provide proof that item was carbon dated to 1000 BC. "i looked it up on the internet" makes it even less believable. it doesnt even look like the item is enclosed in some protective case, if i were in your position and i actually found something dating that far back, i would at least start finding means to encase the object in some protective environment to protect the value of the item.
