11401  Economy / Economics / Re: Shall I hold or invest with %12.5 premium per year ? on: February 05, 2016, 07:51:47 AM
Hello all,

I've good sum of bitcoins, and they represent good sum as well in my local currency.

I was thinking about selling all my bitcoins, lock that fiat money in investing certificates in my bank where I get %12.5 premium per year and buy bitcoins every month (it will take some time to re-buy again all my bitcoins, but not that long, could be 1-2 years as I will include my fiat salary as well).

Or, shall I hold and keep holding ?

If you were me, what would you do and why ?

Thanks in advance.

I can tell you i dont trust  banks, what  country you are from what is your currency
I can tell  you last year btc was best performing currency  to dollar

Blankly you can't say banks won't. He's very sure about the interest.
Sure he can go for the investment, but in the future he can't be able
to buy the bitcoin with the regular interest got from his investment.
11402  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: February 05, 2016, 07:24:21 AM
It might happen one day, e-mail replaced the fax/traditional postal mailing system, it is still used but not for communicating but parcels, Wired phone lines were replaced with wireless mobile phones and same way Digital currency will replace Fiat some day.

As you said it has got the value to replace the fiat money. There won't be much replace of local standard currencies that were already in use. On addition bitcoin also will be used over every countries, no need of exchanges as it is now
11403  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: February 05, 2016, 07:18:17 AM
No need to get panic, the price is getting increased after a long time.
Some one wanna have good profit can buy it and get high profit by
holding bitcoin for short term.
11404  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin security on: February 05, 2016, 07:11:08 AM
I have done research on the net, and by doing it, I ended up in this forum. Hi to everyone as this is my first post and I didn't see a section for just introducing ourselves in here.
I have some BTC not that really high amount but I have earned it online. The problem is I have read so many stories of people being robbed of their BTC so I would like to know , what you guys do to keep your BTC secure online. Don't have the tech capacity to do it offline for now.  Huh

One practice Ive been doing , and anyone else doing this, is by not putting all your eggs in one basket.

I don't have any offline wallet available and Im using online wallet most of the time.

Im using multiple wallets and exchanges to save my coins.

Most of the online wallets today now has lots of security measures before you opened it like email confirmation, mobile confirmation and 2fa authentication.

Your method of having the bitcoins is good. I prefer online wallets than offline,
but while going through the above posts found its secure to use a offline wallet.
Still your idea sounds good saving in various wallets so that if someone tries to
hack, it won't affect much as only little Btc will be there in each wallet.
11405  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I invest bitcoin? on: February 05, 2016, 07:01:30 AM
Investing bitcoin is not a big deal, even if you are holding the bitcoin within your wallet also its a way of investment.
Regularly the variation in price can be observed. Some times within days it has 25% growth, if you are trading
at those times, you will feel how good your investment is.
11406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i hope i can much learn about bitcoin on: February 05, 2016, 06:39:45 AM

11407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin fails - what is Plan B? on: February 05, 2016, 06:32:39 AM
I don't think there is a need for plan B when it comes to bitcoin. Bitcoin can be considered as a trusted cryptocurrency.
I feel this is not as other currencies that come into existence and won't last long time. At situation as said if it also
gonna fail, surely the authorities will have some remedies to stop it.
11408  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: February 05, 2016, 06:26:29 AM
Bitcoin in future will be used equivalent to the dollar or local currencies.
This will happen due to the contribution of the current bitcoin users.
We can see Bitcoin ATM's and Exchanges over most of the places.
11409  Economy / Speculation / Re: How it will go to $0 again? on: February 04, 2016, 12:50:53 PM
Every currency has its value equal to something. So bitcoin too will have a value equal to some number which may be even one but not zero
Bitcoin has got equal to such a huge value in just 7years. So nothing going bad to reach even sub 350$
11410  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare for the wave on: February 04, 2016, 12:46:07 PM
There is a waving coming, but i expect it to go down, instead of going up it is going down.

Too bad we will not see a 500 USD spike.
Price is more volatile these days and we are seeing alternative pump and dump every week. If there will be another pump like happened recently 500 mark is nothing to get passed.

The price is lower than $400 for some time. So there is no alternative pump and dump every week recently. But we will see.
best week for trader i'd say, you can make profit in short term easily because this event, incase if you had good instinct

Soon we can't expect. Recently only one day user got good value back. Suddenly it rose to 424$. who sold at that time got little profit, also the price
fall down suddenly to 390$ in a short time. these days it won't happen again
11411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: TUTORIAL: How to memorize a private key/passphrase on: February 04, 2016, 12:41:17 PM
Thats an awesome move to make even a beginner keep his private key safe.
Still at times we will enter wrong details. So having few backups in the
form of paper wallet is helpful
11412  Economy / Economics / Re: Minimum limit for buying BTC on: February 04, 2016, 12:33:24 PM
There is no such limit if you buy in person from someone, You can buy even few satoshi's. Few Exchanges have a minimum limit and few transactions have a fixed fee, In that case buying like 0.1 BTC will do.
I guess it was around 0.1 BTC, or they also sell the dollar, for example, like if you buy a $ 5 you will be provided 0:01 BTC, I guess that's how they sell dollars in order for them to benefit

There is no minimum limit. Its based on traders, some used to sell only higher value of bitcoins. Better to get the least by joining signature campaigns.
While you go for a minimum trade they will have a very minimal transaction charge, this can be eliminated if you earn your own bitcoin.
11413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 04, 2016, 12:26:35 PM
Price when approaching Bitcoin halving in July:

A. Big drop?

B. Big pump?

Definitely gonna pump the living daylights out of it. If you time it well, there's money to be made. But I suspect that it will happen about a month before the first 12.5btc block.

Definitely big bump is there, but not sure that it will take place at halving. This time the situation of market in most of the countries is very worse. Still a rise in price can
be seen within few months.
11414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best place to spread word of new BTC Business on: February 04, 2016, 12:11:11 PM
If possible contact a local super market and try to place the ad behind the receipt along with your firm.
It may reach someone who is aware of bitcoin in the local region.
11415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new to bitcoins! on: February 04, 2016, 12:05:10 PM
Wink ;)Try to find friends here! Experienced who are willing to share knowledge with you,
when to sell and when to buy on exchanges, and you always can give em s small tip as sign of gratitude.. Wink Wink

Can we find friends here? From my reading of the forum, there are too many scammers around there. We have to be careful.

Yes we can find lot of scammers, the best part is sometimes you too will become a scammer in  a short time. You haven't started
earning bitcoins. Once you start earning your mind gets deviated.
11416  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: February 04, 2016, 11:58:40 AM
maybe they are angry because they dont have any bitcoins
lol rather they hate against bitcoin. perhaps it is a competitor of bitcoin, who fear for their position is threatened due to the presence of bitcoin

No it does't mean they hate. Just they might have calculated the growth of bitcoin in a different perspective.
But when they find it going in a deviated path than their consideration, it makes them to express their
feel bitcoin is on death path or even dead
11417  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it a good idea to buy bitcoins now ? will bitcoin go up or down in next 2-3 y on: February 04, 2016, 11:54:33 AM
Its the best time to buy bitcoin. Even for short term earning also you can buy, as most of them used to to speculate that the value is gonna get increased during the halving which is expected within few months.
Coming years sure there will be increase and decrease in the price. If it is stable all time should understood its towards end
11418  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will this bitcoin will go down? on: February 04, 2016, 11:42:29 AM
Smart question, but the guy might have never expected that he would get the answer at this earliest.
Now its time for him to blast by buying as much possible bitcoins. He had been waiting for a
price down so to make his investment.
11419  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: February 04, 2016, 11:38:59 AM
Any idea for the reason for the recent drop of bitcoin price?
IMO, this is just a trap by trader, they want bought bitcoin in the cheap price so don't be scared with this situation 2-3 month again price will rise much.

Yes I think so too. The price will rise soon. So that is now good to buy Bitcoins now.
Because if you buy now you can have some profit later. You just need to wait and see.

I don't think so. I think the price is down a bit because of the frightening aspect of the divisions inside the dev team. So investors don't have the time to dig in order to see if it's serious, they're just frightened by all the noise around it so they're no longer investing.

Once the issue is resolve it will go up again (I hope).

The Core team is quite adament in the block size increase schedule. They like to implement SegWit. But I think it is too risky.

And the whales are just waiting for the price to go down further so they can buy more bitcoins. They're bringing in their money in altcoins for now.

Whales are not the kind of traders who are waiting for action. They are moving the markets and create action whenever they so wish.

Thats the real fact. They has massive number of bitcoins. They do the market to go up and down without much increase in the price of bitcoin
Once they circulate the accumulated bitcoins the price might start increasing.
11420  Economy / Economics / Re: GERMANY CONSIDERS $5,450 LIMIT ON CASH TRANSACTIONS on: February 04, 2016, 11:33:42 AM
I think this is the time Germany imposing such rules. Previously it doesn't had such restrictions. These might be to make stable financial
situation without much loss. In someway this rule might regulate higher euros to get circulated within the country.
