That won't cut it for use. I think you need way more then 10 BTC. If you want to have a good pension/retirement try to get your hands on as many bitcoins as possible. Eventhough the rate is going high and the technology is well proven, it requires some efforts so to get involved in bitcoin. as far as i know the people who buy and sell bitcoins regulate the price, if there is no interest in bitcoin the price will fall and if people will want to get it more and more the price will grow

I checked the price this morning after I woke up and it dipped below $400 that was unexpected.
Perhaps it was unexpected for you, but when the buy support is struggling to build itself around the $400 level, it will just be a matter of days before the price comes down. And as you see, it happened. I think the price will be around $400 until we know the block size situation. If there is no news about block increase in February, the price will go down to $300 or lower. There will be a major change in the price once the block reward halves. I don't think the block size is something major. As you said I too don't think the block size to be a major issue. Today the rate has not gone that down. Its over the tag of $390. I think it will continue for ! or 2 days as sunday is holiday over most countries. |

I think people are expecting too much. Halving may not bring the boom you're talking about. Yeas. The last halving did not impact the price. I hope for a big rise, but if the price is the same I will not be dissapointed too. I think that this will impact the price because a lot more people are using Bitcoin now compared to 4 years ago. What you said is right, but the bitcoin users has increased and the production of bitcoins is reduced which will surely result in a increase in price over the coming years. And probably some luck. You would't want to be in a position wherein you bought your coins at $420 then after few hours it went down to $370. I know it happened to some and your only option is either wait (mostly do) till it comes back to the high price or just cut your losses (I wouldn't advise this one). Always luck won't be with us. These days the bitcoin value is not stable so often incresing and decreasing. So if you buy when its low and sell in the same day when rate goes high. You will earn a huge profit. This earning is not possible all time, So involving in signature campaigns is the best |
