TFS  Smiley

Don't get why they want to ban "cash" transactions. Due to black money and so that they can track everyone's income? I cannot believe they have less American cash. Huh This statement is just too insane " illegal to exchange cash dollars for gold or any precious metals."

Thanks for the deal  Smiley
11423  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] BTC for Perfect Money/OKPay/Paytm/NEFT on: July 18, 2015, 04:37:28 PM
Will you take care of the fees if payment is sent by pm?
2% fee on $16.38, the seller will need to pay $0.33 on your 10% you are asking for of the current btc price=$276/BTC1 which the buyer will have to pay about $16.71 in total after perfect money takes their fees.
Change your original post to include this.
Most sellers do include this in their quotes in this subsection.

I've updated my thread. I will bear 0.5% fee which Perfect Money charges for verified accounts. Unfortunately, bearing 2% fee won't be feasible. The minimum amount I need for 0.054 BTC via PM as of now is $16.2.
11424  Other / Meta / Re: My negative trusts on: July 18, 2015, 12:31:09 PM
You should have just created another account and done trades with that one. Only if Badbear comes to know about your new account, he may leave you a trust else not. I don't think you can get your trust rating removed as selling PP chargeback guides is an illegal act. It cannot be forgiven no matter how trustworthy you are. People who want to deal with you will do so even with that rating  Smiley
11425  Other / Meta / Re: Neg Trust ~ on: July 18, 2015, 10:49:44 AM
Sorry but it seems to putting your hand in fire and not expecting to get burned. You bought a negative trusted account and then expect the negative trust to be removed? Who buys such an account which has no value? It appears you were the original owner and hence you are faking a deal to get rid of the negative ratings. Even if it's not the case, it appears this way as nobody would buy this account even if sold for 0.0000000001 BTC.
11426  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum down for an hour? on: July 17, 2015, 08:47:23 PM
Hmm I think it is more than an hour. Tried loading the forum 2 hours ago and I cannot. No news from twitter, also. Who else is still experiencing slow loading of pages?

2 hours back it was working fine. I had just edited my thread that time. It was offline only for an hour and yes, now pages are loading slowly.
11427  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum down for an hour? on: July 17, 2015, 08:21:45 PM
Same situation here.

No one still said any thing about it.  Huh

Going by the unread replies, the last reply was at 12:56 and now at 1:46 IST. This means the forum was down for 50 minutes. I tried checking the forum twitter account but nothing was mentioned.
11428  Other / Meta / Was the forum down for an hour? on: July 17, 2015, 08:18:30 PM
I tried accessing the forum but it appeared offline since 40-50 minutes. Am not sure what happened  Undecided

11430  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Indian Mobile Verification on: July 17, 2015, 01:56:27 PM
Pm me. I'll take the payment first else you can send the cash to an escrow who will release the funds once the deal is complete. Also mention the site for which you need this verification.
11431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BurtW arrested (update: charges dropped!) on: July 17, 2015, 11:31:11 AM
The charges have been dropped? That's really a great news. Unfortunately, these cases do cause a lot of financial loss.
11432  Other / Meta / Re: Negative Trusts (Suggestions) on: July 17, 2015, 11:20:57 AM
1. Loan without collateral: Newbies who ask for loans mention that they won't offer any collateral. Their account is a newbie one and hence it can't fetch any money. Secondly, why will any sensible person offer a loan to a newbie without a collateral? They are just trolling and hence they deserve a negative feedback.

2. Member is a newbie with only a few posts, and advertising some shady websites or asking for bitcoins: Advertising a ponzi website or posting a malicious link is a way to scam the community. There is no reason why a newbie should ask a person to invest in a scam ponzi website or post suspicious links to hack an account. Also begging for bitcoins is considered wrong but they shouldn't get a negative feedback for the same.

I think this negative trust rating system is a little too harsh, and a little abused at the same time too. Chances should be given, and not negative trusts when such things happens. Negative trusts should only be used when the member repeatedly annoys, or does the same things again despite being told not to do so. They should be given a warning first, and not get spammed by many other users giving the member negative trust rating for the same reason.

3. Since trust isn't moderated here, the trust ratings are often abused but some Default Trust members who are the ones that leave such ratings are responsible, they do remove their ratings once they have a valid reason from the user. Giving a warning is done with a neutral rating and they do so at times when they find it necessary. One is free to PM the respected member and defend themselves when they receive a rating.

Quote
The negative trust rating system should also have a few options for the person giving the neg. trust, like some simple reasons why they do so. Some of the reasons there are now out there might be invalid, for all you know, and the member might have changed, so the neg. trust should not be valid anymore. Perhaps there could be a certain span for the neg. trust, depending on the situation. Otherwise, it would be unfair to those who got neg. trusts for not reading the threads carefully, and have a neg. trust rating with them for life.

4. Negative ratings aren't permanent and can be removed by the respected DT member when they are given a valid reason to do so. There are many reason for giving a user a negative ratings and it is different for each DT member. The ratings are revised when the dT member feels so and they are also inturn monitored by the admin. There are many members who have been removed from the DT list when their ratings left were inaccurate.

@bold: I haven't seen such ratings given by DT members. Other negative trusts given do not matter as those members aren't in the DT list. If they spam the trust ratings, they are banned.

Quote
There should be an option to 'second' the neg. trust, to prevent users from giving neg. trust to the same user for the same reason. This will prevent spam and make it clearer to everyone as well. The members who give neg. trusts also should not spam too, to make the forum better. I know this have a lot of flaws in it, but this is merely a suggestion. I sincerely hope this would be made possible, to give chances to all as well.

5. DT members do leave the same ratings on a particular user as the DT list isn't fixed. For eg: If X and Y are in the Default Trust list and both leave a negative rating on Z, and if by chance X is removed from the DT list, Y's rating only would be affected. Hence many a times, more than 1 DT member leaves a negative rating so the user is termed as a scammer and their ratings do remain and are seen by newbies.

Overall, the trust system has many flaws but DT members are doing their best to help the community. IF anyone has an issue with the rating, they can come to Meta and defend themselves. The community isn't that bad as one may perceive it to be  Smiley

I have 0.01191798 BTC for exchange via PM/OKPay/Paytm/NEFT. I will be taking 10% more than the market price via PM/OKPay and equivalent price in USD via Paytm/NEFT. I'll bear 0.5% of Perfect Money fee for verified accounts.

Escrow is welcome else buyer needs to go first. Please only interested buyers comment/pm me.
11436  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: July 16, 2015, 06:53:30 PM

Obviously any scam buster will make mistakes, if you only mark the confirmed scammers then you are doing nothing because everyone would know already. I consider his ratings helpful for the community, yeah if some of them are later proved wrong then he simply can delete them and problem solved. Afterall he has a 95% accuracy and im sure he prevented plenty of scams on this forum.

Relax dear. I know that you love him. It's not in mine or your hand to make him the MOD so why argue  Wink

He does make mistakes, but doesn't correct them . You can't really argue with him if the accusation is on you , even though when he is the one wrong and you offer proof for everything. He is an overly egoistic attitude with things going in the opposite way for him and will never agree to his mistakes in 99% of the cases. There was also worshipper he gave a negative trust just he denied using him as an escrow. I have also seen him to unethical things like removing trust from a confirmed scammer just because he used him as an escrow for selling the account, but didn't care about the trust on me even though I provided enough proof .

I feel this was the case earlier but now he seems to be in control. He doesn't jump to conclusions. Anyways, MODs don't have the authority to ban users unlike Global MODs and hence if he can manage the reports carefully of spammers, he can be a good moderator.
11437  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: July 16, 2015, 03:28:53 PM
I'm wonder why BadBear remove his trust through him....

Mostly scammers and their alts were all over the questionable negative feedbacks he left, so he was removed.

These same members simply won't let quickseller become a mod so this thread is kind of pointless and will most likely turn into a default trust list debate or I hate quickseller thread. LOL.

Dear, QS was removed as he was too quick in leaving ratings. As per his earlier post, he was removed as he was wrong in calling out 2 alts of scammers. He was then removed from TC's trust rating for the calling nhndc a scammer. Being on the DT list doesn't make him a good MOD or any other person a good MOD.
11438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Woooooo!!!! 308$ atm!!! on: July 16, 2015, 03:23:18 PM

I think it will reach again back to the days when bitcoin price was 200$.
Current price is dropping fast: $275

It won't reach $200 but will stop at $250 for 2-3 weeks. It's not crashing but don't know what's the reason of this drastic fall. I dint find a single website which explains the reason why bitcoin prices rise and fall.
11439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Purchasing Bitcoin (Security, Identification requirements) on: July 16, 2015, 03:07:48 PM
Thanks for the quick reply man.

Am based here in the UK so will be buying with GBP. The only trouble is I don't want to go through the lengthy process of verifying my account (yes, I have no patience).

On the link you sent, all of them say they involve "Verification" stages, is this a law or just an ethical thing? What verification stages are we talking about as well?

Thanks again

The verification is what Amph just mentioned and if you want to buy bitcoins from trusted websites, they need this verification. You can buy BTC with cash as well via bitcoinmeetups. Check this: www.coindesk.com/information/buy-bitcoin-uk/
