greener air... less pollution...

And this is the only literally correct answer to the question.  You can TASTE the air.  Smiley
11482  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you will have 1 BTC as give away from forum friend, what you will buy on: October 08, 2015, 01:32:43 PM
If you will have 1 BTC as nice give away from one of forum members, what you will buy or do with that ?

Spread the wealth.  Give 0.1 btc away to 8 other members (keep 0.2btc for yourself) as long as they agree to give 0.01 btc away to 8 members, and so on.  Smiley
11483  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan worth 0.02 BTC [ Have Collateral ] on: October 08, 2015, 01:14:49 PM
I have red trust from sir Vod and EquaMobi, but I am sure they will remove it since I have not asked loan since then without collateral.

Please provide me a loan as follows

amount : 0.02

repay : 0.025

date : on 12th this month

address : 17KvykGMAVAaDsBNC8qCzVheoWXWEchZYk

collateral : my this account Smiley

You don't qualify to have my negative trust removed since you asked for a no collateral loan a second time, after my initial trust.

It seems to me you are simply trying to sell this account.  Why hide it as a "loan"?

11484  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BORROWING] 1.2 BTC - Built up reputation and network for upcoming investment on: October 08, 2015, 01:07:22 PM
Pleased to have your attention, need your kind help and fund raising for me to built up reputation and funding networks for the upcoming investment in others BTC lending site.

Payment for each time = Loan Amount + 10% interest
1st payment - 0.25 BtC + 0.1 BtC > pay date - 21st-Oct-2015 (if start from today 8-Oct-2015)
2nd Payment - 0.25 BtC + 0.1 BtC > pay date - 3rd-Nov-2015
3rd payment - 0.25 BtC + 0.1 BtC > pay date - 16th-Nov-2015
4th Payment - 0.25 BtC + 0.1 BtC > pay date - 29th-Nov-2015

BitCoin Address : 1PUQgDMpp5tR7sNmDS2KNCQxoQXQx9HeGG

Please let me know if agree on the above, or you may provide the offer you expected for me to repaying the above loan, negotiable.

Taking out loans JUST to gain trust is frowned upon.

Can you please list your collateral?
11485  Economy / Lending / Re: need 0.01 btc loan [ have collateral ] on: October 08, 2015, 01:06:16 PM
I need 0.01 BTC loan and can provide this account as collateral.

Your feedback from trusted members says you are a scammer.  Your account is not worth 0.01 BTC (edited)

Using the word "loan" here loosely, don't you think?  You are trying to sell it.
11486  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should I delete my positive trust given to scammers? on: October 08, 2015, 12:50:37 PM
So as the title. I have left some positive trust ratings to proven scammers, before they started to scamming people. I then left neutral trust ratings once I found them starting to scam people.

Should I delete both the positive and neutral rating and change it to a neutral/negative one, or just let them be? Please give some advice.

If someone has started scamming people, I would remove the positive trust right away, as it reflects poorly on you.

Neutral trust is different, it doesn't really affect their score.
11487  Economy / Lending / Re: Lender's Log! (Check here prior to loaning!!) on: October 08, 2015, 12:41:56 PM
Back to topic, please add the following to your lenders log:

0.10 BTC loan from Vod to letyouearn

Repayment of 0.11 BTC no later than October 10.

11488  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [poll] lenders fighting scammers together on: October 08, 2015, 12:39:52 PM
--Encrypted--'s idear to leave a neutral comment for everybody taking a loan
pros:
  • Simple and elegant solution, i think this will actually work
  • it keeps everything on bitcointalk.org
cons:
  • using the unmoderated trust feedback. In case a lender falls off the grid, the feedback sticks to the lendee's profile (comment by --Encrypted--)

Big KISS to --Encrypted--  (Keep it Simple, Stupid)

This is by far the best and easiest idea to implement.  We can't "force" lenders to do anything, but this is the least amount of work for them.

In the case a lender goes AWOL before removing feedback, a DT member could compensate by applying trust that said the following loan has been repaid and can be disregarded.

In my opinion this would pass the burden of the system to the lenders, which is natural, since they have the most to lose.

-snip-

PM sent.

Replied and lets keep the rest of the discussion here mate as the project infos are posted here. If it's affordable i'll fund this project personally and if its not , well im sure we can work something out  Wink

My demo is already running since yesterday. It's ugly as f*ck, and most functionality isn't included yet (if i ever make a beta version, both layout and functionality will be fixed.... I'll only make a beta if the community agrees to use my tool tough)... but it shows you how i would make a tool like this:
http://www.altcoinhosting.com/ledger/

Your tool doesn't scrape this forum, does it?   It would need to be integrated into TSP's script to be of any use.  Otherwise you are just transferring from one manual system to another.
11490  Other / Meta / Re: Someone from DefaultTrust just killed my pot. Sr. Member account for no reason! on: October 08, 2015, 05:58:06 AM
This is normal for the forum. I have been through it too.

you don't break a single rule and some dicklicker still leaves you bad trust.

#typical

You haven't been through it.  You have no unjustified negative trust on your account.
11491  Economy / Lending / Re: Lender's Log! (Check here prior to loaning!!) on: October 08, 2015, 04:57:09 AM
I think it's a good idea. An all in one spot to double check all the loans.

Good idea, but manual lists are hard to keep up to date.  An automatic system would be much better, but hard to implement.

It appears to me like you've been around long enough to deserve a second chance since being tagged as a newbie loan-requester.

Asking for a non-reversible no collateral loan when you first join is considered an attempt to steal.  It shows the user has little care for the community, and just looks out for themselves.

I do offer a "one month cool down" second chance to new users that ask, provided:

1) You contribute positively to the community during that month
2) You do not ask for scammy loans any further

You asked for your first no collateral loan on April 18.  I missed that one.   Undecided
I first tagged you on May 8 when you asked for another no collateral loan.
You then asked for another no collateral loan on June 9
You then asked for another no collateral loan on June 28
(THANK YOU to the non default trust users that still these people, providing me with a very useful timeline)

If you want to join a signature campaign, I suggest you interact with the community in a positive way and build up trust that overrides my negative.

Wow, I was unaware of these repetitive attempts .. I take back what I said, Good investigation Vod. Tongue

Thank you.  I couldn't have done it if non-default-trust people were not leaving the appropriate feedback.  Keep it up everyone!  Smiley

And why aren't these people high profile millionaires yet?lol

Everyone is holding onto them, believing their value will skyrocket.   Not me, I sold most of mine when bitcoin was falling from $1,200 and built my dream house.  I had 2.6 bitcoins left to my name.

Then I was hacked, and someone stole 2btc from my wallet, leaving me 0.6btc.  The reason they left the 0.6btc has left me puzzled ever since.   Undecided
11496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hi all, newbie here on: October 06, 2015, 09:18:48 PM
Nowadays we are in a well known crypto depression.

You don't know that.  Right now Bitcoin could be at it's all time high price for the next 10 years.  There is a chance bitcoin may never go up in value, especially if no one uses it and everyone "hodls".
11497  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling domain name jobsinbitcoin.com on: October 06, 2015, 09:09:48 PM
jobsinbitcoins.com available for $12 from godaddy.

So is jobsforbitcoin.com

Your domain is worth the registration price - certainly not $750.
11498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 06, 2015, 08:56:29 PM
A good way to advertise the bitcoin community would be to develop an actual mascot.  One that portrays of the value of Bitcoin - namely it's irreversible nature, and ease of use.

The community as a whole should start a fund and pay some artists who can draw.

Anyone want to spearhead this?
11499  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: is richjerk a scam? on: October 06, 2015, 08:53:03 PM
http://www.richjerk.com

Is it a scam? cause it looks like so.

Yes, it is a scam.  You pay them $300 and they send you instructions on how to build a website and sell instructions for $300.
Really? I didn't manage to watch the videos that far.
However, this sounds somewhat recursive.

It's the modern day version of the newspaper scam.

You read an ad saying Get rich!  Send $10 for full details to xxxxx
You send in $10
You get a photocopied page saying Put ads in the paper that read "Get rich!  Send $10 for full details to xxxxx"

Been going on for decades.

Aw. Why are you insulting yourself so much in this thread? It's okay to ask questions.

badly need to build and make this type of application (ex: fring, linphone) and i cant figure out where to start.

if i need to pay someone to build that app for me, deal on. (reasonable price ofc)

its a headache mate

You should move this thread to technical support, if you want technical answers, and not imaginary psychologist bullshit.   Wink
