1161  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for merchants like you to start selling on & automated trusted website! on: May 24, 2012, 05:49:40 AM
Photo uploads should be fixed now -- It was just a simple permissions problem thats actually a good thing.
1162  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for merchants like you to start selling on & automated trusted website! on: May 24, 2012, 05:21:02 AM
You seem to be selling T-mobile refills at a greater than 80% off. Might want to look into that.

Thanks.  Those were my listings.  They have been "removed".  The price is in BTC however the site is using $ for BTC prices.  I doubt someone else is selling 1 oz Silver Coin for $7.80.   In the upper right the sites shows "$1 = 5.12324000 USD".

IMHO CIB shouldn't have been launched in this state.   Great idea but it just isn't ready yet.  Image uploading is broken, editing product listing causes the price to switch from dollars to BTC (at one point I had $20 wireless card going for 19.5 BTC).  Prices in BTC have the $ symbol.  Product deletion is broken.

I will be back when CIB irons out the kinks but the site isn't release ready.  It hurts the brand and the portal to be accessible like this.
Could you please explain to me the issues you are having during photo upload?

Also I will have this BTC/USD switching problem fixed right away, I have been able to reproduce this error.

As a side note everything is functional and been tested its just not intuitively practical just yet -- Don't be afraid to report bugs, Thanks for your patience.
1163  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: May 24, 2012, 02:44:15 AM
You can see how it's done here:

  https://gitorious.org/electrum/electrum/blobs/a5152462135b6e132c6776a50675eed15e0c46a2/lib/interface.py#line184

The data is sent using a POST request, and is JSON encoded.
Kudos mate!
1164  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - a new thin client on: May 24, 2012, 01:21:02 AM
If this has already been asked just let me know and I'll look harder but...

How is a HTTP request constructed to query electrum servers? (For example, are their get/post variables involved or anything of that nature?)
1165  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin version of Chipin on: May 23, 2012, 03:12:48 PM
If we can get some testers please to report any bugs they find on http://bitcoinchipin.com to report to me through PM, Thanks!
1166  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the point of PGP signatures in BitcoinTalk messagess? on: May 23, 2012, 03:08:44 PM
Today I have an epiphany. This encryption is all coming together how this is all connected.
1167  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the point of PGP signatures in BitcoinTalk messagess? on: May 23, 2012, 02:27:39 PM
Well i assume that the sig would be changed too if the messages can be, I still don't get how any of the PGP signatures linked to identity in some way is there database look up that has identity associations with it I'm not aware of?

Yes they are called public keys.  You can exchange them out of band.  I can email you my public key now (no really I can if you want it) and in the future you can verify all my signed messages.  If a message validates against my public key it MUST have been signed by someone with access to the private key (which is assumed to be me).  Well unless someone busts RSA or SHA-256 that is. Smiley

There are also key exchange servers where I can upload my key and you can search for it.  The "attacker" can certainly change the signature but the signature would either be invalid or it would be signed by his private key not mine.

BTW I don't use GPG on this forum, never felt the need.  However your thread did get me thinking I really can't believe chrome doesn't have a GPG exension which parse the page, detects the signature and validates it against public keys in the key ring.  It could replace that wall of text with a "validated icon".

That might be "the" killer app for GPG.  I noticed you wrote PGP.  PGP is closed source.  GPG is a compatible FOSS (free open source software) variant.

Ah! see i was assuming too much -- So basically only those who can check is those who've previously talked to me and saved my public key thing.
1168  Other / Meta / Re: Whats the point of PGP signatures in BitcoinTalk messagess? on: May 23, 2012, 01:47:45 PM
I don't get it why would some one put a PGP signature? wouldn't someone just copy the message and paste it into their "owned" PGP signature with the new message and paste that PGP sig with the new message? No one wouldn't even know the diff?

Well to anyone who checked the sig it would be immediately obvious that message has been changed or that it isn't signed by the expected party.

99% of people won't validate the sig (would be nice if some browser auto-validated sigs) but the signature is for the 1% who would.

Well i assume that the sig would be changed too if the messages can be, I still don't get how any of the PGP signatures linked to identity in some way is there database look up that has identity associations with it I'm not aware of?

I think this might be where my coins went.

Xenland, Did you happen to ever play this game as well?

Thanks.
Oh yeah that brings back nostalgia, that game does... So yeah i'd have to say I have played it before maybe once or twice.
1171  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anybody Interested in purchasing a BitCoin/SolidCoin lottery website. on: May 22, 2012, 01:42:46 AM

You're looking for suckers, not programmers.

Exactly. Try flippa.com for selling over inflated valued websites

Thank you for that link. Those people are called "Business People". And by the way I wasn't looking for programmers. I was looking "Investors." Ever heard of them? You know the type of people who might see a site for sale for $750, ask for a demo and realize they can triple their investments in 3-4 months.... yeah those people.

not whiney snot-nosed basement programmers, who thinks $750 is money. I just spent that on Facebook Stocks yesterday because I found $1,200 in an account I didn't remember about.
lol?
I was looking "Investors."
Actually you should be looking for an adjective in that sentence.

And if you ment to say "I was looking for investors" then I'd say your wrong because I thought your trying to sell your website code not have it captial/investments built up. So you should say your looking to profit/sell your software not look for business men to invest into its success....

lol No one cares how many fiat bank accounts you have here.....and that you "forgot" about $1200....

I'll give you 150 SC.

also obviously not a business man... once a bitcoin site is created it can be extended easily to support any Crypto-currency. Any that exist today or any in the future....
I suppose with enough work I could bend a fork to look like a spoon in the near future too or any spoons or utensil one might make Smiley

Same Question... One Question! Have you done any programming that makes RPC calls to bitcoind?

lol can't say that i have..... but I'll leave these files here....

Can digital goods be sold on your site?

As long as you own the rights to sell it yes. That means no torrenting ebooks or software then selling them. I will have a terms of services that will have a list of related items and services that are not allowed but for now just use a general rule of thumb as "You are not allowed to sell anything considerably illegal in your country or your senders country to your awareness."

Cronjobs are now activated. This means all functions are now active and all transactions should process... here is a link to a successful transaction I just committed: http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/order.php?1895-f6edcf06d8f65f79eea3028c75e18235bb27374cbc22afa8249d09b9268036ac6f1a6980551df110fb86bb80a82aec167f291e94494dba2b1f67bfc874681d2c

When i checked went into my merchant account and marked items as shipped -- I immediately received my funds.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 400 BTC sent to an unknow address. Help please 40 BTC reward. on: May 21, 2012, 12:57:40 PM
Xenland is misunderstanding.
He has looked for 400 bitcoins in his wallets. This is not the information Goat needs from him.

So it seems very clear that you sent your 1.96 BTC to the same wallet that Xenland sent his payments from in that thread.  It is not necessarily his wallet -- it could be an online service.
The 400 coins of course won't show up in Xenland's wallets. What goat needs to know from Xenland, is who/what service the address belonged to, that both Goat and Xenland sent money to.

Just my 2 cents. Feel free to uh, pm Xenland about this again or something, I'm not going to do that Smiley

ehrrr??? That actually sorta cleared up some confusion but still sorta lost how I am required of any information. If I'm being asked what service I sent from its my wallet or glbse or possibly mtgox. but if i'm asked what service I sent it too lol i have no idea.....

yeah, i do not blame you at all for not remembering, i have no idea what i did 6 months ago either:)
Good luck mate!
