I sold a lot weeks ago... I'm out a lot.  Should I re purchase what I sold? For refund/accounting purposes?

The refund will only be for the current price you purchased at this time, not for your previous price.

what happens to shares that are bought out? are they destroyed or do they become the company's?
1162  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 02, 2014, 12:41:20 AM
For the shares to be properly valued the DC should have been at >250TH already with clearly laid-out plans to expand to 1PH by the end of 2014.

Ken is certainly going to have a tough time paying back investors 25,000 BTC (or 0.0025 per share) when BTC is $3000+ and he's only running 100TH. 100 TH per month was the plan until he realized that he overlooked the AC limits in our datacentre (remember what i said a few pages back about attention to detail)

edit: Ken please pay attention to the little things, because they matter very much. Nobody can take you seriously with an outdated website and the DC may very well become a waste of space because of a few math errors.

Zum what is your evaluation based on?
1164  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: June 01, 2014, 04:00:08 PM
Anyone care to discuss alternate ways of getting the website fixed? It has been top priority for a month now. Apparently we don't have anyone on the VMC team with sufficient knowledge of code

Wildfire.ca and Lewicki have offered services for free and hacking into it has even been mentioned...how realistic would this be?

1165  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 01, 2014, 03:47:31 PM

Ken, this is just the start. If you don't reveal the real financials people will go "full-DTS" with their "super sleuthing". Yes, it's ridiculous, but you can shut it down by doing what you're already obligated to do and release complete financials in a timely manner.

Remember, the website is still top priority right now. Maybe financials will become a priority in the fall, and we will see a report in late december

This is a total nonsense.  I object strongly.  How little you know.

lol ok....care to elaborate or do you simply object to keep a balance in here?

The fact of the matter is that we are dealing with someone who literally can't dot their i's and cross their t's...if that's not an issue for you then I don't know what to say to you.
1167  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 30, 2014, 10:35:35 PM
Crossing their t's and totting their i's is no indication that they will actually run a successful company.

Definitely not, but it gives you an idea of his IQ range and attention to detail
1168  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 30, 2014, 10:25:13 PM
So why haven't we?

Lorenzo has thrown around the idea of legal action to oust Ken as CEO, so there have been attempts (I would be all for these attempts now, before I wasn't so impressed with the idea but Ken has proven himself to be a paperweight if he cant even fix his own website)

Remember Danny Brewster...

Honestly any one of us could do a better job a CEO of this company. There's spelling and grammar mistakes in literally every single update that Ken has, remember when most of us thought English was his second language? Yeah....
1170  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 30, 2014, 07:09:13 PM
I cannot believe the website hasn't been touched yet. I'm sure it takes a few minutes to take down items we haven't sold and others have even offered to do it for free. I'm all for the hacking idea wildfire has...Ken you should be ashamed of your complete incompetence at running a business, this has gone on far far too long. I can guarantee you replace any one of us shareholders with yourself and we would be getting things done here. What a disgrace!

1174  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 15, 2014, 03:04:10 PM
perhaps if the dividends were to start trickling out this might look like a viable operation… that would lead me (or others) to buy more shares.

Also, if divs are paid out (Ken said the 21st) the company can use the other half of mining income for whatever it pleases, no questions asked

price reduced to $849

I would order if you accepted credit card payments.

Ken isn't capable of dealing with the risk of being carded. Using Bitpay is also a big no-no for this company.
1176  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 13, 2014, 04:34:55 PM

Might be sad when you don't double your stash.

You said crap like this back in November...

How about you start fixing the website, or at the very least removing items that aren't for sale. Give us a small small reason to "double our stash" please
1177  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 13, 2014, 03:00:09 PM
So Bitpay has just received a $30 Mil funding round from investors including Richard Branson, but we cant use them because they're too close to BFL?

Now that it's fixed.. When can we expect to see 120th?

Is there a plan to upgrade the AC to bring more th online?

Next couple of days, we have racks ready to start up tomorrow, which we could not run due to the heat.  As far as the AC, that is all we have in this datacenter; however, we should be able to run this and and have income of ~$600,000 is the next year at the current price of bitcoins.  What we are expecting is that during the next year bitcoins will go up in price.

what about the 25,000 BTC you owe investors? price of bitcoin doesn't matter in this context...
1179  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 11, 2014, 03:13:23 AM
Ken, how about paying outstanding dividends?

2. Dividends will not be paid until after this migration.

is there a feature that allows you to transfer shares to another user?

I cant seem to find anything like it...but then again your drop down menu has a tad too many options
