If you have a Pi model B or B+ and some external memory (at least 32 GB) you should have no problems running a full node
1162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Bitcoin Box' Can Process Payments With No Web Connection on: January 18, 2015, 07:43:28 PM
opens up a lot of possibilities for security and vulnerability in cold wallets
1163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If 1 million BTC users keep 10BTC would it save us from dead? on: January 18, 2015, 07:37:16 PM
10 BTC is no small amount of money for a lot of people. A lot of the early adopters had sold their coin at one of many market peaks/bubbles. This would also take up the majority (80%+) of the current total supply of bitcoin

this and the fact that bitcoin isnt well - known by the people that can afford this investment with little to no financial consequences. And I doubt many of these people would even be willing to make that purchase with the recent price drop with little confidence on how the price will change.
1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dude forces his roomate at gunpoint to sell bitcoins! on: January 18, 2015, 07:24:16 PM
Well that dude must have put everythinh on bitcoin and when he saw the price drop, he couldn't control himself.

might actually have been what happened; wanted to cut his losses and save what he had left
1165  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: XBT Jackpot - Free 10mBTC on: January 18, 2015, 06:52:54 PM
love the smooth animations for blackjack, would definitely recommend. adding smaller bet denominations would definitely attract a larger crowd for tiny betters. would love to see more games added soon.
1166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best bitcoin dice strategies!! on: January 18, 2015, 06:07:51 PM
a "best" strategy doesnt exist; its gambling, and a possibility of losing always exists.
1167  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Free 100GHS Trial - Contracts from 0.0011/Ghs! on: January 18, 2015, 04:54:07 PM
service doesnt publish a lot of information, and cloud mining is too easy to set up as a scam, and looks especially nice to register with the 100 GH/s trial. feels scammy

1170  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: SatoshiQuiz : Knowledge is Money : 500 satoshis per min on: January 18, 2015, 12:08:17 PM
question catagories would be a nice addition, maybe variable question difficulties for varying prizes would be nice as well
1171  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet without fee? on: January 18, 2015, 11:50:16 AM
also helps to mention that there is no "best,"  research a bit on your own and choose which best fits your needs / wants
1172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My BTC on: January 18, 2015, 11:41:29 AM
I hope youre not holding all 95 btc on 1 wallet at once
1173  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Zencloud - Gaw - 10 Free GH - Sharing information (No refferral spam tricks) on: January 18, 2015, 11:34:22 AM
Option to get free 10 ghs is still available?
no it is over now,

Is there any other cloud mining service where is some free ghs for testing? anyone know something?

I know terabox has a 1 week 100 GH trial, but I'd advise against buying a contract with them

1175  Economy / Economics / Re: Today is the day I goofed up.... on: January 18, 2015, 12:03:12 AM
Think of it as an investment and hope that the price will skyrocket in the next month or so. or you can try to contact support and see if you can have the transaction cancelled

neither of you will get your btc back. ever. theyre called ponzi schemes for a reason and you fell for it. if its too good to be true it is. Looks like every coin sent to that pyramid address was immediately sent back out to another address, I honestly dont know why people abandon their common sense when it comes to ponzis
1177  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: 24HourPonzzi | 100% Automated | Secure | 130% Return on: January 17, 2015, 11:21:52 PM
a few dumb people must still be falling for these if they keep popping up so quickly, shame
1178  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin dice games on: January 17, 2015, 10:56:51 PM
my best guess; bitcoin isnt a centralized currency, so no one really controls it and holds power over it. in addition, anyone with a computer can use bitcoin and make transactions. fiat is regulated, and gambling is, in general, looked down on by the law

1180  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet without fee? on: January 17, 2015, 10:17:07 PM
get used to transaction fees, your payments will never confirm if you dont use a fee. and its just 10k satoshi, barely 2 cents. not a big deal.
