1161  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: March 09, 2017, 03:43:35 PM
I like your ambition and share in it, hopefully it will hit 50k+ soon so that some of us can realize our dreams. I always rue not entering bitcoin early but hoping to make the most if it now and going forward into the future.
Its not really to late to engage to bitcoin since as of now we are on still its early stages since bitcoin is just 8 years old and theres lot of thing would happen ahead of us but speaking on 50k i could say that it wont really happen in our lifetime because this price is really high to consider.
You are contradicting your own words. When we say, Bitcoin is only 8 years old, it means there is still much to go. By now Bitcoin is able to reform its image from darknet illegal currency to a high potential performing security. This reform is inducing more and more people to switch to Bitcoin. Imagine 1 billion of world population using Bitcoin, what will be the market cap and what will be the price!

When you look at the chart, by the end of February 2015 we were at about 250 dollars.
Right now we are scratching at the 1200 dollar level.
If that rise in percentage would increase the same way, we would hit the 50K dollars sooner than we all think.

If you look at the November 2013 price, that was over $1100. So things are not that simple.
It looks like the current condition of bitcoin was same with 2013, the bitcoin turn into the bubble and a lot of the people are trying to bet on the 11 march about the US securities approval for the bitcoin etf.
But do you think the bitcoin will go to the bottom same like what he did on 2013?

No way. That wont happen again. There is too much supporters now and money invested with time.
Those will just be for nothing if history repeats itself. Let us not make this false news or people might get scared and try to sell which could really hit the price and value of bitcoin. A big dump could happen even just for a simple gossip.
This is just how bitcoin do it. Rise and fall a little.

This is what you are telling is a very old story of users are getting scared of a single false news and start to dump, today users are more mature and have full details about the bitcoin and have full faith on it , so even if the approval is not given for ETF  we wont see a huge dump in price.

1164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as reserve currency. on: March 09, 2017, 11:45:03 AM
It has been estimated that Bitcoin would be the sixth largest reserve currency in the world in 2030.Could bitcoin become the first largest reserve currency and when?

Where did you studied this prediction as their is only 50% of chances of it, and as per my view it will take nearly 2050 for it to become first largest reserve currency.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is treated a stock on: March 08, 2017, 09:00:45 PM
I thought at first that Bitcoin will be a currency to be used in the future. But from what I am seeing here is that it will be treated as a stock, it is even compared to gold. What do you guys think?

Bitcoin is treated as a stock is a wrong pronounce it should be stated as bitcoin is treated as commodity as gold, because you can do trading and even now its value is above the gold price and it is very good for investing purpose also as in long term you can expect any amount of percentage of appreciation.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 07, 2017, 04:22:40 PM
It's such a game changer. When I was thinking and almost sure that India would lose this match, it seems they require just 1 wicket to win this test match. Australia losing in quick succession was a surprise as they always played well on such grounds and Marsh, Smith this time failed to perform. It looks like the same case when India played the first time and all their batsmen failed. It's all thanks to Pujara who saved the second innings and Ashwin's 7 wickets.

PS: Now India won the match by 75 runs. A big win.  Grin
Great win for team India and finally they made it.This is called a perfect team performance, but Ashwin was so good and took 6 wickets.
Lets wait for player of the match announcement,i guess it's Ashwin..

Edit: Player of the match - KL Rahul (India), i was wrong  Roll Eyes
Pressure got them I must say , 188 is an easy target for a team like Australia but they screwed it up . All they needed was one good partnership but they didn't get it and now the series is drawn Smiley It makes the further matches exciting though .
The pitch was very slow and making 188 runs is also big tough in this pitch. Why Bangalore pitch made like this, i don't actually it's batting pitch. Many players made more centuries in this ground. Anyway finally India back to his form, yes it's a great to win to team India. And all credits goes to Pujara and Ashwin if these guys not performed means India may lose this game.

The pitch was made like this so that the Indian team can take advantage of it. Of course, it can backfire like it happened in Pune. Now the series is level 1-1 and it has become more exciting.

What you told is wrong why even India lost today quick wickets against spinners and same thing happened against Australia losing wickets against spinners. was happy to get India odd above 2.5+
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: March 07, 2017, 04:21:25 PM
I think we will see many goals in both matches.

Napoli vs Real Madrid: Both teams score at quote@1.40 or over 2,5 goals at quote@1.45
Arsenal vs Bayern:      Both teams score at quote@1.50 or over 2,5 goals at quote@1.55

it seems an easy double-up

One of the most easiest bet would be real madrid and bayern munich to win this game. I dont see any of them losing this game even when they already have the advantage . Real madrid and bayern are two teams which relies on attacking the most so they will still going to hit it hard for this game

I dont agree with your bet if bayern munich just make the score of 1-1 is enough for them to go for next round, so both team to score goal for both match is good bet and even parlay is also good.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Review walletbuilders.com on: March 07, 2017, 04:11:50 PM
im create a free coin from wb, when starting the daemon, then say:

Code:
error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.54.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

any idea?

free service or paid service? sometimes error with free service.
i recomended you to contact walletbuilder support.

free service, im only try this.

A friends of mine also have a test coin and same situation (even with paid version). Have you any idea or solved it?

One of my friend have used walletbuilder service and build a coin and even promoted the coin on this forum but was not able to list it in yobit so his all work got ruined but he did a lot of work and then he listed the coin in other exchanges and it is going smooth. so you have to work on your coin promition to get success even if you are using walletbuilder to build a new coin for your project
1169  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: March 07, 2017, 03:54:41 PM
Both trading and gambling are in similarity but output is different , in gambling when you gamble the out come is profit or loss and you cannot convert that in profit but in trading when you sell btc you get usd and if you have sold in lower rate and the rate goes up then you can wait till you are selling rate is not come so like this in trading you can avoid the loss if you keep patience.

So this means clearly that trading is not gambling but the method is same

1171  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: March 07, 2017, 03:33:07 PM
young or old, it doesn't matter much, bitcoin is a very good investment and it will give a very good return as your profit but it is never a guaranteed profit, that is why you should never "go all in".
invest an amount that you feel comfortable with, and then try to enjoy the benefits of bitcoin as a currency too. and see the good features, and remember that when you use bitcoin you are helping the adoption of bitcoin.

Exactly, age does not matter on that thing, because as long as you can invest or save money into bitcoin it is your advantage, I guess
it is better if you say as early as you can you should go in bitcoin, but not all what you have because we do not know what will happen
tomorrow.

What you said is true, that only risk that much which you can afford to lose so only invest that much which you can afford to lose means if tomorrow bitcoin goes absolute then you should not get affected in life. My suggestion is only go with 50% of your income and keep balance 50% for real life benefits.
1172  Local / India / Re: Tax (how?) on earnings from BTC trading on LBC? on: March 06, 2017, 08:14:00 AM
Calculate your total annual earning and pay tax for that. That's it.

Doesn't matter how you earned. You are earning from trading, doesn't matter it's BTC or something else.

Makes sense, but do I need a current account or shall I keep trading using my savings bank account? If I'm suppose to get a current account, I need to show a firm/business (TIN number). I'm just not sure how to go about doing this step. How do you guys handle it?

It is not required to open firm/business account you can open individual current account and do the transaction in it, and you can show the transaction under short term profit or else you can show the details just like what you are showing when trading in Equity in share market.

1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from ICO on: March 02, 2017, 02:27:17 PM
Nowsaday, I don't think there is any ICO worth to invest anymore. I had so many bad ones lately. Better off purchase them after they released at the exchanges.

What you are thinking is the correct thing because what ever the ICO worth is when they get listed and as soon as the bounty coins are distributed you can surely expect the price to be dumped and you can get below ICO price for sure as i have seen in almost all coins even if the project is good
1176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 02, 2017, 02:18:54 PM
The only way Bitcoin will ever die is if the internet dies or when the worth drops to zero. I don't think that the internet will die because it is something almost everyone uses en need.
And also that the worth of the Bitcoin will drop to zero because it is being used by more people each day.
you are right when internet dies then bitcoin will be die but it really impossible and internet would be never die and bitcoin is depend on internet and there a lot of users of bitcoin and more people adopting bitcoin.
it mean bitcoin will never die because internet technology is permanent and its true that bitcoin depend on internet and we know that bitcoin digital currency just using through internet and i am sure internet internet will be survive forever.

I dont agree with your point of Internet cannot die, what if all the servers are got crashed due to some natural calamities then what can you do, Their is always possibilities of 1% chance of anything can happen, Bitcoin relies on Internet and what if Internet got crashed due to natural calamities like their is full of unnatural floods, earth quakes nothing can stop it.

1180  Economy / Services / Re: THE LEGENDS ROOM Signature Campaign Live Feb 18th💰 Earn up to 0.12 BTC/Month💰 on: February 21, 2017, 06:44:33 PM
Hello-
I was asked to act as escrow. Happy to oblige Cheesy

ADDRESS: 1N2mwGgtzV1ww15JLaNJDLYTAAFcAEZa3F

----BEGIN MESSAGE----
I am minerjones, acting as escrow for the ledgends room signature campaign february 17 2017
----END MESSAGE----

SIGNATURE: H3Ly2pWg1CroWB2Hgn2ErAVo0P3PHINvkN9F5qoyPvPkROcGrqGH6FrHzVrDlQD6jujcyO3RLXEC0Ua ojZYZTw4=

COINING VERIFICATION

You are escrow to this project and the mentioned wallet is the escrow address where the signature campaign bitcoins are stored but their is no confirmation of you are holding the signature campaign payment in your wallet.  Just now checked the wallet and what am i seeing that on 18th feb 2017 you received 1.062 btc for the signature campaign payment but on 21st feb 2017 you have transfered the amount to another wallet.

What does it mean, i am smelling scam on this project as the escrow is not holding the signature campaign payment and even he have not mentioned that he is holding the signature campaign payment in the signed message.

DT members kindly look in this matter.

Guys we are talking about minerjones a very respected and trusted member of this forum.
We have contacted him to explain why the coins are moved, however when we engaged with him he mentioned:

Quote
"I do not know what addresses the payments will come from at the end, as I use a Multibit-HD wallet.
All though, if I do send successive payments, they should all come from the send address."

So worry not on the 23rd March payouts will be made to all Signature Campaign contributors so long as they have completed their tasks and stuck with the rules.

What Minerjones have replied is not the correct answer as responsible escrow person should tell, when he is signing that the signature campaign amount is in that bitcoin wallet then it should be their only, he should not play with the signature campaign escrow payment what if tomorrow he losses all his bitcoins then who will take the responsibility of this loss. Like this only the scam attempts are getting happens.

OP you being the main person you should ask him about the bitcoins should be on the same wallet address mentioned in the escrow then it is no use of making him escrow holder of signature campaign payments. You can ask anyone of the reputed escrow persons how they are dealing, they will surely guide you with this help.
