Satoshis or Satoshis (0.00000001 XBT) sounds good to the people here but to the laymen on the street, they'll be scared stiff. I prefer to use the word "bits" too.

A Message To Customers!

After much deliberation we believe we have come up with the perfect solution to increasing the value of our batch 1 orders, albeit an obvious solution, but the best one nonetheless. As stated previously we do not want to affect the development of the Vipers any more than we have and are certain it is best not to make any further changes to their production. There have been many websites popping up recently with lofty promises and no proof of their legitimacy or development and we do not think it’s a good idea to alter manufacturing based these possibilities as we are focused on getting our Vipers shipped to our customers as soon as possible. With that said and regardless of their legitimacy we understand competition is inevitable and by the time our devices have released the market will be different than what we all hoped it would be when we first started. Granted, we are still fully confident the Vipers will make ROI but we also want to make sure our batch 1 customers are getting the best value for their money and here is our plan for this:

First off, we are in the early stages of developing a cloud mining service, this will allow customers to pay for hosted mining power, the pros and cons of this will depend on your personal preferences of course so we will continue producing batches of miners for those who prefer to maintain their own devices. Now on to the good news, all batch 1 customers will get free hashing power from our cloud; we do not yet have a date as to when we expect it to be operational so for now we are simply saying as soon as possible. Exact hash rates will depend on the state of the market and network at the time so we will make sure we scale accordingly, but rest assured we are promising a substantial amount for both 16 Mh/s and 90 Mh/s customers. As you can imagine we want the service up and running as soon as possible and as a result of this when it is first brought online there be limited availability so we will start off with just batch 1 customers being able to use it and open it up to the public shortly afterwards.

Secondly in addition to free shipping and being able to order first in batch 2 we are pleased to announce we are giving you 10% off any future batch of your choice. Thank you for your continued support and rest assured we are committed to bringing the best value possible for our customers. We will keep you posted on further developments so stay tuned!

Ok, sounds good. But one thing is unclear to me. Will we (batch 1 customers) get the miner as promised (16 or 90 mhs) ánd have additional cloud mining, or do we get the choice? Will the hashrate be the same for those that choose cloud mining versus a device delivered at home?

Hi, you will be receiving your Viper in addition to free hashing power as soon as our cloud service becomes available.

Sounds good, just that the market is changing rapidly and hope the free hashing power can be put to good use.

1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official Mastercoin Foundation, Master Protocol & Mastercoin Thread on: April 24, 2014, 10:36:58 PM
I meant from a usability point of view, as its alpha (scary to non-coders), and maxmint was reporting a problem with it yesterday.

Heres the problem....Ive sent a small amount of MSC to maxmint, from masterxchange to buy MSAFE. I would like for maxmint to send MSAFE straight to masterxchange, but they say they need an address that the owner of the sent MSAFE has control of the private keys (they also need the sending address, before i/maxmint sends). If maxmint is ok with sending me the private keys after he has sent to masterxchange, problem solved, as i dont have to worry about dealing with buggy wallet sofwarez.

Will update.

I'm sorry, but I won't do any sending of private keys. Omniwallet seems to be working now for sending of MSAFE, so you could create a new address there and then send from this address to MasterXchange. (I also sent you a PM about this)

Got that. Cant see masterxchange changing their process, so guess its Omni or bust.  Undecided

EDIT: Tried to send from Omni and got error.  Sad

"Funds could not be sent: Error sending transaction: parseScript is not defined"

EDIT EDIT: I was using Firefox. The recommendation to switch to Chrome, works. MSAFE funds sent.  Smiley

Which version of Firefox are you using?

How to buy Safecoin with Mastercoins
MSC Address: 14Wa1zTRYmpQXzdUhro5u1QY25oEwumXiw
Price: 1 MSC = 1000 SafeCoin (2 MSC Minimum)
Simply send Mastercoins to the following address and we will send Safecoins back to your public address.

Receiving your Safecoins may take a while. So please be patient.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: April 22, 2014, 03:41:52 PM
Apparently the MSC investment address (1ARjWDkZ7kT9fwjPrjcQyvbXDkEySzKHwu) was removed from safecoin.io.
MaidSafe really should put up an official statement and explain:
- why the MSC address was removed
- if it's still possible to invest via MSC

I have high respect for the Mastercoin people and for the MaidSafe project but I'm missing transparency here. Not communicating about this puts an otherwise interesting project in a bad light.

(My guess is that the amount of coins on the MSC side is much bigger than expected and that they would like to push the BTC side of investments.)

That's weird, the SAFE Network Mastercoin exodus address never appeared on http://www.safecoin.io/ when I loaded it from my Android phone.

I kept on reloading the site. Maybe it does not load from my side of the world.
