1161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What You Need To Know To Get FREE Bitcoin Gold During The Fork. on: October 06, 2017, 01:18:18 PM
I dont trust this BitcoinGold. This could be another distraction concocted by the Chinese miners to divide the community again. They are going to divide and conquer to get the real prize. BTC.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurriencies do we really need? on: October 06, 2017, 01:01:44 PM
Honestly speaking it's like an easy money making method or an opportunity which everyone wants to exploit to get rich with otherwise most of these cryptocurrencies don't really have any value. A true cryptocurrency in my opinion would be which has a large community of supporters, easy to use, fast, decentralized and reliable. Bitcoin seems to be close to that at the moment but there might come a better one in the future which is globally accepted and backed by some real value.

Its not just a money making method but a BTC making method. Thats an important distinction. All those altcoins and tokens are usually converted to BTC in time by their owners because its really BTC they want.

Unique cryptocurrencies that bring something new are too few and far between.

1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst weekly report! The future is bright! on: October 06, 2017, 12:43:32 PM
They may offer the same features but the technology behind them are different. What I love about Burst is it had a fair launch. No ICO, no premine or other tricks to get their hands on the community's money. It is not a scam.

It is also using Proof of Capacity for mining. It is something quite unique and something that should be developed further.

Thank you for all these answer ! I didn't know about it, very glad to hear it.
I was looking to invest in one of these "cloud storage" coin, think the idea is awesome we need good crypted and decentralized storage !
The fact that there is no premine, no ICO sounds really good !
I'll totally look closer about BURST Cheesy

You dont understand. Burstcoin is not like SIA or STORJ. Burstcoin uses Proof of Capacity as a mining algorithm, not as a form of decentralized storage system. PoC is unique because its the only practical implementation of mining coins with hard drives.

1165  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PLEASE HELP: Transaction not being confirmed (adequate fee) on: October 05, 2017, 03:10:58 AM
Before you send some coins, always check the fees recommended in these sites.

https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-state-by-fee-level

They are difficult to figure out at first, but its really very easy to understand once you get used to it.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: What country do you think will recognize Bitcoin as an official currency? on: October 05, 2017, 02:48:38 AM
No country will Smiley . All the countries will trust their own currency rather then depending on a currency whose price fluctuates a lot and even takes alot of time to confirm sometimes . So why to use such a currency when every country has its own well established currency

I cant believe most of you have not heard of the Pirate Party from Iceland. They seek to make BTC legal tender in their country.

I dont know what the political landscape in Iceland is but they have been given more and more support, with the last year's Icelandic election having the most success to date.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icelandic_parliamentary_election,_2016

Iceland is due to have another parliamentary election on October 28, 2017.

Do not be offended if we reject your order because of the amount as we have too many orders in progress; we handle 85% of bulk Orders.

Whats the minimum amount that you process? I use Neteller to buy $50 - $100 of BTC every week at coincorner.com. If you can offer a better sell price, I might consider using your service.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: October 05, 2017, 02:19:21 AM
It will reach to more than 1000sats don't worry about it because once bitcoin settles the price of Burst will automatically move up words. Already it touched nearly 932 sats may be next target more than 1000sats. It may happen within a month or so.

It will reach 1000 Sat by end of 2017

...

I am looking at the price of Burst in Poloniex, and your claim of reaching BTC.00001 by the end of this year is becoming harder to believe as the price is decreasing almost everyday. Can you tell us what you know that would propel Burst to fly over BTC.00001? Wink

This article is hinting that you know something.

We do have a master plan and we’re in hot pursuit of it. We cannot even tell you (except hints) what our goal is. At least not yet, because you would not believe it and there is no one at the PoCC in the mood to convince disbelievers. It’s hard enough for many to swallow our 1000-2500 Sat prediction, so for the moment that’s a nice placeholder to have.

1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burst weekly report! The future is bright! on: October 05, 2017, 02:07:37 AM
I am very sorry to hear that. The the difficulty in mining Burst really has gone high and the low price doesnt alleviate the unprofitable conditions. But this is the situation we have and we as supporters should accept and find other means to help Burst.

I have started running a node and I will try to keep it on for as long as I can with maybe some downtime if there are issues.
1170  Economy / Marketplace / Re: enough bitcoins to start small project ? on: October 04, 2017, 03:24:46 AM
It depends on the complexity of your project.I have seen many users spending thousands on gambling projects,ICOs etcitra.
You may even start a project if you have $100  but if you are going to hire someone to design your website in accordance with law complying project, whether it is a shopping project initial coin offering or gambling, it will cost you $2000-5000 .

I didnt know setting up a BTC gambling site would be that cheap. Can you give us examples of what BTC gambling sites started with an initial budget of $5000? I could start one right now if I could figure out where to start.
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make a win-win situation for both government and digital currency ? on: October 04, 2017, 03:11:54 AM
I think Bitcoin regulation is win-win situation for both. Governments would make "order" on that way on Bitcoin market and have some control over it, but not full and centralized of course, and for Bitcoin that would mean more adoption especialy for businesses. Bitcoin users don't have to be afraid from regulation.

Its in my own belief that theres no win-win with BTC. Regulations made upon it are easily eluded because by design, BTC was developed as a peer to peer electronic cash system. Its nature is to break borders and to be independent from the traditional financial organizations.

What would stop someone from creating a secret BTC transmission and conversion service for the darknet?
1172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The best platform with Global Bitcoin marketplace on: October 04, 2017, 02:24:00 AM
Sorry but I didnt mean to offend you. I was merely telling everyone to be careful. I am sure you can understand that. After the public release of Coin Hive its easy for website owners to exploit their visitors.

1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Burst weekly report! The future is bright! Proof of Capacity is here. on: October 03, 2017, 03:25:15 AM
Greetings fellow altcoin followers and all the same to the altcoin prophets of doom. I declare myself as the Burst unofficial official news bringer. Its time to let each of you know that Burst's future is now in the good hands of the Proof of Capacity Consortium!

I shall be posting all the updates and reports in this thread. Keep your eyes peeled.

https://www.burstcoin.ist/weekly-burst-report-5-10012017/

  • The PoC Consortium finally released their Android wallet! Sending and receiving money is now as simple as scanning a QR code. Beta phase is finished, but more exciting features are already planned. You can download it on Google Play.
  • Additionally, some screenshots were published with the announcement that seem to indicate a working iOS version of the wallet. Although the PoCC hasn’t commented on this so far, an iOS version would make sense as already mentioned in the Weekly
Burst Report #3. The use of Steve Jobs’ “one more thing” phrase while introducing these screenshots seems quite obvious!
  • The PoCC developers are still working on the 1.3.6cg version of their wallet.
  • The PoCC added a chart page to their explorer. It currently includes a richlist, top forgers, balance distribution and block winners but as you can see on the page that more charts are on the way.
  • BurstNation is going to launch a BurstNation branded wallet focused on simplicity, as shown on the preview they did in their latest Live Meeting.

Past reports can be seen in Burscoinist website.

1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cardano/ADA coin’s launch on Bittrex represents what I detest about cryptos on: October 03, 2017, 03:06:41 AM

Seeing as Cardano has some of the most respected members of the crypto-community, with a history of being through the ups and more importantly the downs; you’d think they’d take care while launching onto a prominent exchange, because when half a billion dollars appear overnight at exponential pricing, people are going to lose money and get hurt. And calling them plebes who have to do their due diligence isn’t something that’s expected from such leaders of the community.

If you dont like ADA because you think that its half a billion total market value is too much then dont invest. Ignore it.

If the market value was 100 million dollars or less would you invest in it? Its not the developers' fault that there are many people like you who considered buying ADA. The market value simply reflects the interest of the investors.
1176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The best platform with Global Bitcoin marketplace on: October 03, 2017, 02:40:26 AM
Hi guys,

The blockchain.rip is a good platform for traders.
Check it's...

A.Thanks

The visuals are appealing when you visit the site for the first time but that equates to huge cpu usage(peaked at 60%) which isn't good if i'm planning to trade on the go with my mobile phone. Also the site mentioned no fees required sounds too good to be true. I haven't heard anything about such site, tried searching for a thread but no results found it's hard to trust a site this new.

Be careful. Check the site if it contains the Coin Hive script. It is a crypto mining script that makes your CPU mine for XMR without your permission. There were already several reports that some websites have already deployed it.

1177  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ICO Question from Newbie on: October 03, 2017, 02:32:34 AM
Are you proposing a service for hyping ICOs or doing the bulk of the job in their campaigns? I would say that they are very profitable. There are a lot of ICOs coming out left and right, its already hard to keep up with all of them.

But in this forum, shill accounts are given red negative trust if proven to be controlled by a single person. Better do it outside bitcointalk.org.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next x10 coins for 2018 on: October 02, 2017, 04:09:44 AM
I will make an argument for Burst.

Burst right now is valued at 16,000,000 in coinmarketcap.com, and it is very undervalued. The platform has a decentralized exchange, a token issuance feature, a crowdfunding feature, smart contracts and it is the first to make an atomic cross transfer between blockchains. It also mined via Proof of Capacity.

They are now under rigorous development of the Proof of Capacity Consortium and they will not leave a stone unturned in its improvement. Rico666 of the PoCC predicts a BTC.00001 price by the end of 2017 and more will come on 2018.
1179  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex - Triggered SL/Support ticket ignored for 9 days on: October 02, 2017, 03:58:09 AM
Whats the problem? If your stoploss was triggered because the market went below your stop price then thats it. If you dont know what you are doing then avoid using the advanced features of an exchange. You should measure the volatility of a coin before you set a stoploss. If you didnt want to sell at that price then why place the stop there?

Its really your fault unless the exchange executed it before it reached your stop price.
1180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did Bitmain just declare war on BTC? on: October 02, 2017, 03:27:20 AM
Why would Bitmain declare war on BTC? That would be illogical because their biggest market for their hardware would still be BTC. Jihan Wu is also a businessman, so whatever that move is, its probably a business decision and not a declaration of war.

Another thought, maybe he loves BCC very much. Cheesy
