On this forum, when you rollover with the cursor the link is green if it’s a link from this forum, it’s blue, if is a link outside of this forum So, this is also a way to prevent to click on a scam link
I will add that also. Thanks

Thanks. One more thing I noticed, after I entered fake account information with password FU.K YOUXXX is that it redirects me to regular Bitvest Plinko Signature Campaign after it takes my 'login details' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088858.0Maybe lightlord, creator of this topic, should be contacted regarding this, just that he is aware of the situation. They are probably using other random links, with malicious attachments. One more way to super protect is to install browser extension called NoScript, but it is a bit complex.

Hello my fellow Bitcointalkers!
Today I will show you how one scammer tried to hack my Bitcointalk account, and I will teach you how to prevent any future similar hack attack.
1. I received PM from unknown member with this content2. DO NOT click on any link as it redirects you to FAKE Bitcointalk clone website from Turkey. With intention to collect your Login information and password, and takeover your account.3. ALWAYS check website Link in address bar, and if it is safe HTTPS.
4. Always check user trust and profile and again DO NOT CLICK on any links.
When you hover over with mouse over link that is outside this forum, color will be blue
When you hover over link and you see green color, that is link inide Bitcointalk forum.
Here we have clear case of hacked account: kingpin4321 - password is changed recently https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2447711
5. Report user to admin/moderator and give him negative trust.6. Report phishing website to Google and Symantec.https://submit.symantec.com/antifraud/phish.cgihttps://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=enhttps://www.phishtank.com/https://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/submit.php?7. Learn how to protect yourself better.- use Firefox browser or fork called LibreWolf, it shows you warnings for unsecure logins, and it is more secure than Chrome browser. Alternative is Brave browser. - use browser extensions: HTTPS everywhere, ClearURL, NoScript or uMatrix (for experts) - always double check your browser address bar for changes. - bookmark you favorite websites and use password managers like KeePass. - stake your Bitcoin address on forum to prove ownership of your Bitcointalk account -> Stake your Bitcoin address here- install Malwarebytes Browser Extension[/b] for protection8. Ask me if you have any questions.I will update this topic with more information if needed. Thank you for your attention.Translated and adapted to Russian language by bakasabo: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5173654.msg52098506#msg52098506[LEARN] Phishing Quizzes - Beginners & Experts 👈

But you can also move the topic... You don't have to wait for the mods.
True. I will. I was not sure where to post in anywhere...

All answers above are wrong. Cryptocurrency projects uses .io or .info or .tech or .shit or whatever simple because .com is not available or it is more expensive. Take for example.blockchain.info. they bought .com finally after 10 years, for millions About that price, .IO is more expensive than .COM.
This information is wrong and makes absolutely no sense. I agree with Bitmover here. Price is the main reason. As we all know that Roger purchased Bitcoin .com for himself he can now manipulate with many newcomers and BCH Bcash. In the end... if search engines detect your website, it does not matter so much what domain they used .com or .io or maybe new blockchain based .ZIL domains

I think that using lower margin is best way to leverage on Bitcoin. People often have big margins, they dont set StopLoss, so they end up loosing Bitcoins very often.
That is why BitMex and other similar exchanges are now full of Bitcoins

Website is DOWN and ANN also.
Website is still active, but ANN has been down (mods take action.) (samsungcoin.site) is impersonating Samsung which is considered a scam, misleading and trademark infringement so report here ----> https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en. I'm sure this user will try again with a new Scam site. Samsung is a transnational conglomerate founded in 1938 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Samsung is active in various industries. Wiki Samsung (Korean: 삼성; Hanja: 三星; Korean pronunciation: [samsʌŋ]; means "tristar" in English) is a South Korean multinational conglomerate headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul.[1] It comprises numerous affiliated businesses,[1] most of them united under the Samsung brand, and is the largest South Korean chaebol (business conglomerate)

Same thing, connected with this scam case and Exmo.space exchange. They are using Discord bots yet again.

I like this us-china financial cold war, just because it is creating global competition and if the us-china indulge in this stablecoin war then im glad that crypto market will boom explosively.
It is open-cold-war on all fronts Not a boring time that is for sure. We could very soon see a bunch of digital coins in all countries in the world, but there is only one Bitcoin...and no country owns it.

The only thing users should worry about is servers getting hacked
And we see hacked happening all the time... We need better protection for sure

Website is DOWN and ANN also. I hope nobody lost coins in this scam

This is their overall stats: Messages:59,675 And this the main topic: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. Replies:30,476
One topic has half of all the posts of the entire forum. Also when you have a user posting nearly 10% of all the messages on the board, common.... So this is where cypherdoc ended up I thought that the two sites mentioned in the OP rang a bell. I looked at them (briefly) when someone opened a thread on Beginners & Help suggesting some alternative crypto forums (which turned out as expected rather inferior in activity and content, although some sections seemed interesting like the video section in cryptocurrencytalk.com or the guides in mastersofcrypto.com). I really can’t be bothered with other Crypto Forums unless a pretty good reason crops up to ponder them over Bitcointalk. Even so, I’ve taken a quick glimpse at the list (so my first impressions may be wrong):
Bitalk.org -> Seems to be Russian only.
There's another Russian Bitcoin forum, https://forum.bits.media/, and it's way more active. Russia has a big Bitcoin community, and other than Bitcointalk forum I know of few other forums related to Bitcoin and Crypto.
