11601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regarding ETC on: July 26, 2016, 01:40:27 PM

Looking at it that way maybe Vitalik now feels very regretful and dirty for doing the hard fork. He has stained his career and his reputation in the cryptosphere. Now what will happen to the slockit team? They are the ones who started and developed the DAO.
11602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: July 26, 2016, 01:09:42 PM
What is going on in the Ethereum community? What are the miners saying? They will be the key to victory. The supporters of ETC must appeal to them to find it in their hearts to do the right thing.
11603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regarding ETC on: July 26, 2016, 12:39:41 PM

Hello Minecache! Cheesy

I am only joking. But anyway that does not make sense. Why would you buy all ETC and sell the rest and then burn the others? What are you hoping to achieve? It will not destroy the chain. It is already living without the Ethereum foundation which is in a better position now. Developers from bitcoin will now finally have the opportunity to develop in it without intervention from an authority.
11604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARDR][NO ICO] Ardor, or Nxt 2.0, a Scalable Child Chain Platform on: July 26, 2016, 12:30:43 PM
The price made me laugh out loud this morning  Cheesy

Why? Is there a reason why we should be laughing? I think it is still too high to get in at these price. I am still awaiting for it to go down and have a fair bargain before buying.

I kinda expected it to go back down to 2k sat to be honest, not sure if it's gonna get there any time soon.
Also, I am getting about 150 NXT/day forging now, which is awesome

On what basis?

Holding NXT means you get Ardor, the more NXT you hold (the door), the more Ardor you get. This should act to increase demand in NXT, so a falling NXT price right now would not make sense. There may be a sharp fall in price in September running up to the Ardor distribution but they might be counteracted by late comers trying to get in the door through FOMO.

I feel the wider crypto community are ignorant to the Ardor release and many will be waking up as volume increases.

I have pointed out this before that we can use the price of NXT as a barometer to measure the interest in Ardor. If there is not much demand in NXT then we can see that not many people are interested in Ardor. Right now we are seeing that the NXT community got in to buy and hold NXT. We still have not seen outside the NXT community because there is not much chatter in the forum about Ardor. Everyone is busy talking about ETC and before that STEEM.
11605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only ETC is the real Ethereum on: July 26, 2016, 12:18:33 PM
i'd guess in those circumstances people would be choosing etc as a rejection of the foundation's principles, or lack of them. but i don't think it's gonna be that easy. that's where the brains are and they've got a mountain of free etc too.

Only if they had ETH stored at Poloniex before the hard fork right? Unless I am mistaken.

I don't think the foundation store all their ETH in an exchange.
11606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only ETC is the real Ethereum on: July 26, 2016, 12:09:49 PM
No worries, "ETH" will soon cease to exist, then the real Ethereum will claim both names

I have a question. If the support on Ethereum fork goes down and the miners start going back to the original Ehtereum classic, what now will the position of the Ethereum foundation be? Will they still be the ones deciding on what the road map of the platform is? Will the community still listen to them?
11607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Vitalik Buterin's health declining? on: July 26, 2016, 11:41:30 AM
Front running puppets always have to put up with lots of stress, but hey, he's got great dental benefits I'm sure.  And a few ten million dollars to sulk over.  lol

Yes he has money. That is very pitiful. If you ask why I say this, I will ask you "Where is his soul?"

He is being used by the people around him. The moment the Ethereum fork goes down, they will all leave Vitalik out in the cold.
11608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: July 26, 2016, 08:32:52 AM
Instead of looking for safe method to gamble, if you decide to gamble then go for it without having any other secondary thoughts just to enjoy your gambling moments. Because many gamblers are looking for safe methods and leaving their bitcoins loosing with gambling but without enjoying it.

Yes in the gambling world they call it the scared money. These types of gamblers are the ones that always lose which is very ironic because they are very timid.
11609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on FOX 20: Holm vs. Shevchenko Prediction and Info Thread on: July 26, 2016, 06:40:26 AM
It's unfortunate that Holm lost, I think she is the better fight but she had a bad night. She gave Rousey a good beating so we can't underrate her. Of course if she fails a third time then it's time to start doubting fo real.

Yes. For Holm it would be better for her to have 1 or 2 easy fights before she continues for the quest for the belt. She is already drained mentally having lost two tough match ups in a row. Those were fights she could have won. The first one she made a mistake and got submitted the second one is another mistake for her lack of aggression. Very sad to see.
11610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 201: Lawler vs. Woodley Prediction and Info Thread on: July 26, 2016, 06:34:33 AM
In this fight I predict that it won't last the usual 5 rounds with Lawler. I really feel that the strategy Woodley would use is to rush Lawler and knock him out with strikes. My question is does Lawler have a sturdy chin? Can he take the power right hand punch of Tyron?
11611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MY gambling strategy to limit loss and make btc on: July 26, 2016, 06:30:45 AM
A easy way to save from gambling is to avoid it. But since its very simple its actually the most difficult for people to do this. Since they have made their life so complex that they like to make simple things difficult and then keep solving it.

But why would you avoid something that you like doing? If you deny your impulses, you deny what makes you human. I think it is ok to gamble but follow a strategy to avoid or make risk taking smaller.
11612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 26, 2016, 06:15:36 AM

"But let’s make it clear that we (the ethereum developers) have never abandoned the old chain. We never forked the chain. We have implemented a switch in our client to give users a choice to fork if they want to and that’s all. The "Ethereum Classic" chain is just as much our child as the forked one, and if both of them survive (which is the users’ choice, not ours), then I intend to take care of them equally in the future too."

There might be people in Vitalik's inner circle that does not agree in the hard fork. If those people leave where will they run? Yes, the original Ethereum chain. It is the one immutable, original, real chain. I fear for him because when everyone is truly shaken they might throw him out in the cold.
11613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: July 26, 2016, 06:06:49 AM
Did anyone try to communicate with the attacker? I think it is a wise thing to do if you want stability and security for the original chain. He has a degree of power on the platform and it would be ideal if he comes out and communicates to the ETC supporters what are his motives and his plans.
11614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC Hash Rate now only 2.26% on: July 26, 2016, 05:57:36 AM
Yes. You say this and that but why am I hearing that the original Ethereum classic will become available at Bitfinex? That is one of the largest exchanges and it is no joke to be listed there. You underestimate the gravity of the situation. There is a chance that a majority of people will switch to the original if it will serve their self interest.
11615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAO Attacker Ready To Dump 3.6m ETC!! on: July 26, 2016, 05:53:11 AM
Would it be a possible scenario for the attacker to buy ETH with his ETC in Poloniex and then dump the ETH for BTC? There is this possibility that the attacker is not after pure profit but is after the Ethereum fork because he wants to prove a point. He could be a bitcoin loyalist and wants to show Vitalik who is the boss.
11616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitFinex is going to list ETC soon... on: July 26, 2016, 05:42:02 AM
I know this is a good news for some. But the bad news is Ethereum classic's mining hashrate is going down. If the exchanges commit to this and list it, they should provide mining power too. It will be useless to offer this vulnerable coin for trading.
11617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Vitalik Buterin's health declining? on: July 26, 2016, 05:39:27 AM
If he is losing weight it might be all the stress that is the cause of it. He is now the center of attraction and he is being pressured by the people around him to do the hard fork. After everything I speculate that Vitalik will take a long break from cryptocurrencies and let someone take over.
11618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Dead??? on: July 26, 2016, 05:36:58 AM
Some use dogecoins because they are a medium of transferring value from one exchange to another. The fee is cheaper and the confirmations are faster. I think this is good if it is only for small amounts. Maybe in the future the users will handle bigger and bigger amounts.
11619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHo will win - ETH or ETC? on: July 26, 2016, 05:33:22 AM
The people that are aware of the real situation will vote for the original Ethereum classic. But the winner will be the fork because they have the money and have the backing of the companies who have interests of profit with Vitalik and his group.
11620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another Ethereum fork emerges: [ETP] and many say this will overtake all. on: July 26, 2016, 05:30:57 AM
It will begin like a joke. Then it will happen for real. Then forks will become an actual standard. Then blockchains will become a joke.
