I don't belong to all the 3 camps and for me bitcoin is just a virtual crypto currency that has value today but it may not have any value tomorrow. There are people who even know about bitcoins but don't bother to use them due to the uncertainty when it comes to the value while those people too exist who have invested in bitcoins but have suffered huge losses.

There are very less number of people who fall in the second camp category as not many do know how bitcoins are mined and how their value is determined. They just find it useful as it is a currency. There are yet many currencies than are evolving just like bitcoins did and those currencies may have b=more value than 1 BTC. Still it's adopters would be lesser than expected.

@bold: How can you say this and you have even read my earlier posts? Do I only target DT members? I haven't targetted users here and you are making a false accusation on me. I have only being critical of users who I find are abusing their power and it may be a DT member or not, it doesn't matter. I have also been critical of the forum rules and scams taking place here.

You seem to have a problem with me now for just asking you a question? I don't want to build my own trust network nor do I give anyone a trust rating no matter how much they are trustworthy (but that's just me). I am sorry as even now talking to DT members means I am committing a crime. I can't imagine that people have so many issues even if I ask them why they left a particular rating. You had already answered my question in the previous post and I don't want to keep arguing about that.

Sorry to interrupt but I noticed that you dint want to leave the OP a trust rating and then decided to leave one after he asked for it. Isn't this trust abuse? I feel that you still don't trust him enough without using an escrow and you left the rating after being asked.

You are on DT 1 level and leaving a feedback after using an escrow for a deal doesn't sound reasonable. I too have used escrow but I din't expect to be trusted or have a rating for just that purpose as escrow is to make a trade safe and it doesn't prove either parties are trustworthy.

I absolutely agree with this statement. Just because any user is a scam buster or is known for outing scammers, the user shouldn't be considered trustworthy himself and be blindly trusted. People have been doing this just to earn trust which can prove out to be very dangerous in the coming days. Nobody is selfless to continue doing good without a motive behind and definitely they want something in return for this. After all, cops themselves get arrested if they commit any crime.

Lending money and acting as an escrow are the easiest methods to gain trust on this forum and this gets them added faster to the DF trust system (and then they want to remain there all their life).

After tradefortess, I really hope no other DF trust member turns out to be a scammer.

If there was no valid reason for him being removed from the DF trust, then I guess he would have stayed but now it's not the case. The admin has removed him for a valid reason (which I feel is right).

This forum needs a person to track SCAMS only. I bolded the word as one needs to only track scams and not leave a warning on accounts just because a member has been critical of your ratings.

It's only a fantasy for members here to be in the DF trust list but they forget that they are here to track scammers instead of accusing every member as a scammer. There's a vast difference and not 100% of the members over here are here to scam others. I believe that there are sensible people as well who perform trades genuinely. If this member finds a scammer, he/she can report the same to Badbear or post in the scam accusation thread. It makes no difference if he/she is in the DF trust list. We all should contribute equally and make others alert of any scammer.

It's the lack of moderation which leads to scams and instead of asking for people to be in the DF trust list, I would like a moderator to be appointed and outlist scammers. Till then we have TC, Badbear and Theymos to save the community from scammers and I wouldn't blindly trust the feedback of a person and in doubt, escrow is an option for me.

EMS is 100 times better in terms of the trust feedback and in my case when a scammer left me a revenge feedback, the admin removed it. The trust system and scams are moderated and hence very less people get scammed. Here the case is the opposite where all members are considered scammers. It seems one doesn't have any work in life except to scam

It seems there was an issue even before she started kicking him but he should have made a woman police officer deal with her instead of kicking her on the neck. But this discrimination is not the worst compared to all other countries. Where I am living, I haven't seen any problems with respect to religion but it may be the case in other states (but it hasn't been reported in the news that any major incident has happened). If we consider UK, my friend said that there is a terrible discrimination with regards to the color and Indians are mostly treated badly in London (where my friend lives). In other countries the problems are far more worse that we can imagine. It's similar with Hindus in Pakistan. There have been reports that they are iltreated there.

I would agree with this option of getting to know my accuracy rating and the report status. I haven't made much reports since 2 months as my rating had reached 60% but now it's 70%+. Also if there could be remarks of why the report was excluded would help me to improve my rating accuracy.

It's really unprofessional for a user to be so irresponsible while trading. The delay should have been informed before confirming the trade and it doesn't matter if the amount is big or small. I hope he reads this thread and does reply in time as he hasn't been online since May 31st.

This has happened to me as well once when a user said that he had some issue with his PayPal and he kept dodging me for 3 days until I had to open a scam accusation thread on that forum and he sent me a refund immediately.
