11681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] rpietila Monero Economics thread on: August 23, 2016, 01:50:49 AM
I worry that poloniex is too centralized as an exchange for monero.

There needs to be more exchanges or more usage with decentralized exchanges.  Undecided

I was thinking, would it be possible for a Dark Net exchange for crypto? Would that idea fly? Is there that many Dark Net traders/merchants and buyers to support a healthy Dark market for trading?  Laundering their money cheaply would be their key motivation here.  Son instead of using BTC as the base currency, it would be XMR.  So everyone dealing with BTC would want to trade for XMR in the Dark Net for better anonymity.

And I totally agree with Jasad, they need to sign an experienced CB and a prolific striker.  I think part of the problem is no striker would want to play at Arsenal.  Is there a lack of ambition in the club?

It seems that it is well known to the players that arsenal doeant seem to have any ambition to win. Spending huge amount of money is a sign that the club is serious about winning therefore a team like arsenal which still use the old way of trying not to spend too much is out of the league compared to the other

The 'old way' is gone now.  This is a time where clubs must spend huge sums of money to win.  And if clubs keep winning, they will have more revenue making them have the ability to again spend huge sums of money.  It's now a business first and a football club second.  And it makes sense because you need to make money to be able to spend money and vice versa.  So if Arsenal doesn't make it to top4, no CL football means smaller revenue for them.  And that means smaller budget for transfer signings.  But Arsenal has saved a lot making their warchest big enough to last them two transfer windows if they decide to spend big.

But bottom line for me, Arsene Wenger must go.
11684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 23, 2016, 01:20:05 AM
In my opinion this fight was the definition of a tie!

How are you getting to the conclusion of it being a tie?

round 1 - McGregor
round 2 - McGregor
round 3 - Diaz
round 4 - McGregor
round 5 - Diaz

Close fight but the right decision for me.

Yup I agree with rampage.  One could also argue that without the successful take down by Diaz on the 5th round, McGregor would have won that also.

As for McGregor vs Diaz 3, I would prefer that McGregor first defend the feather weight belt, win that fight.  Then go after Alvarez and win the light weight belt, hopefully also win that fight making him champ in two divisions.

Then Diaz challenges him at 155 (light weight) for the belt.  Who knows, maybe it's already being set up by Dana White and McGregor.

Still waiting surprise in BPL and I hope will happen in this week. Is very interest if one or more big team like City, Chelsea and MU lose. Big match for this week between Liverpool and Tottenham, I predict Liverpool win with scores 3:2

I don't think the goals will be that high and I predict Tottenham to win 2-1, 2-0.  Liverpool's defense is not so good currently and they will have a handful vs Tottenham's attack.  They have Janssen who's really strong that can stick and shove with big defenders, Kane, Eriksen, Lamela and of course Dele Alli.  Not to mention their midfield is also good.

I would also like to point at that Liverpool will have a League Cup away game before traveling to Tottenham.  Their players will not be well rested and their motivation will be kinda low after a stupid loss vs Burnley.
11686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 23, 2016, 01:01:45 AM
this week confirmed that the 3 new great coaches arrived this year ( Guardiola , Mourinho ,Conte ) are determined to fight for the victory of the Premier League . The Liverpool of klopp instead is unpredictable,it can win and lose against everyone can score five or zero goals . is a crazy team, so I don't think can fight for the win the premier league

Before the beginning of the season, I was almost sure that Liverpool will be in the top 4.  Now I'm having doubts again.  Watch their game vs Tottenham this Saturday, I think they're gonna lose again.  Betting for Tottenham ML at 2.40 has value.

Ok, here's the chart of LSK.  It is being accumulated right now, maybe even by a trading group...?  Wink

Notice the spikes in volume and the price every time they make their buy orders in.

Anyway there's profit taking going on right now, naturally.  But I still think LSK still has some legs and it's still on its way up.

West Ham and Middlesbrough will win their games today. No other matches happen.

No more though, really boring day in the EPL, motd will not be worth watching tonight.

Other news: The market still favour city over united atm, personally i would put united favs. Zlatan looks great with 3 goals in 2 games.

That would really depend on how fast City adjusts to Pep's methods.  The tempo at City is not quite there yet and the finishing.  I want to see Sterling gain more confidence and make the goals himself instead of looking for someone to pass the ball.  But right now as is, yeah.  United edges out City.
11689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: August 22, 2016, 02:33:28 AM
How about this:
Arsenal want Porto player Yacine Brahimi coz they fail to sign Leicester star R. Mahrez. We are talling about 46M euros for this Algerian player.
Liverpool and Chelsea also wanna this player and last year he was close to sign for AC Milan
arsenal are so quiet in this transfer window , wenger are too slow ,
granit xhaka have no big effect to arsenal game , they are urgently need a fresh striker ,
and one center back to replace mertesacker ,
not another winger or midfielder , there ramsey , ozil , walcott and alexis sanchez already.

That's not a new news, Wenger is not a type of coach who want to build his team by buying star players. He will only buy some young players without any great records in their previous team. So it is not surprising to see Arsenal is so quite in any transfer windows.
I do understand what you are saying, but some of these players could be diamonds in the rough and just need to be under the right management or leadership team in order to excel.  I think this could be his method here, but not a good one!!

Wenger has to find some sort of balance.  He can do both by signing experienced players and developing young players with potential.  The problem with Wenger is he doesn't realize how the whole club is affected by his reluctance in signing proven experienced super star players.  When I say 'the whole club' that includeds the fans too. The fans need to have hope for this season as they have none.  They don't have something to look forward to every weekend because their squad has become stale.

And I totally agree with Jasad, they need to sign an experienced CB and a prolific striker.  I think part of the problem is no striker would want to play at Arsenal.  Is there a lack of ambition in the club?

looks like Guardiola has seriously now because rumour says that Manchester City want to sell Joe Hart £30 millions because they need more funds to buy some players again this summer but i didn't see any teams officially bid for Joe Hart currently

I read manchester city not sell Joe Hart, but pep guardiola provide freedom of movement if Joe hart wanted to leave manchester city next summer. Joe hart seem to have a tough start to life under new manager.
yeah last season for Joe Hart was not his best and with Pep Guardiola will allow him o leave Manchester City this month also with his role has been demoted in favor of Willy Caballero whilee we can see also another transfer for Claudio Bravo as he will join City in the PL.
Pep should give Hart a chance to play as starting line up in Premier League and after that he can decide whether Hart is still good or not for Man City. I agree Hart's performance is decreasing, especially in Euro Cup 2016. But he has made big contribution for Man City and he is one of the most important roles in the team. Pep must rethink the decision again.
Joe Hart is the main reason how City manage to get so far in the last season Champions League. I don't think Hart performance are decrease , i think his style just won't fit for Guardiola. He need a keeper like Neuer , Ter Stegen or Bravo. It's better for Hart to leave because even he eventually get the time to play , he won't be performance well under pressure from Guardiola. There will be lot club that need Hart service , such a disgrace to keep sitting in the City bench , Pep will definitely regret if he leave the club.
If you saw when he playing in Euro 2016, then you would realize that his performance is decreasing. He also doesnt has stable performance for whole season, which few seasons ago his position was taken by Pantilimon as the main goalkeeper, and now Caballero. I guess if City lose or conceded many goals, Pep will give Hart a chance again.
Different squad might effect different performance from him , doesn't mean he will stay suck in Manchester City too. Anyway , i really think it won't matter now , Pep made his desicion by trying to sign Claudio Bravo , the deal should be close in next few days. Pep said Joe Hart are free to leave the club , i don't think he will get a chance for redemption again. He will always be the best goalkeeper for all of City fans.

The deal is now confirmed.  Bravo is going to City.  Pep will need him in his system.  Sometimes Pep wants the keeper to break forward and play the role of sweeper.  I don't think Hart is used to that.
11691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 21, 2016, 11:04:01 PM
A better option for McGregor is to forget a third match vs Diaz for now.  He should defend his FW belt vs Aldo, then go after the LW belt vs Alvarez making him a champ in two divisions and thereby increasing his stock. Then make McGregor vs Diaz 3 happen for the LW championship.

iam very sad number one goalkeeper in england national team
not starting eleven only banch player, i hope in sell join big club too and starting eleven
maybe totenham hotspur, arsenal or liverpool

Lol. I don't know if you're serious or just want to type random comments but the Spurs have Lloris, Arsenal has Cech and LFC has Mignolet.  All 3 are good goal keepers.  Maybe Mignolet is not that good compared to the other two but he's good enough.  If there's one club that would make sense for Hart it's Everton.
11693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: Diaz vs McGregor 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 20, 2016, 11:04:36 PM
Big movement in the over 2.5 rounds line.  There's a lot of money coming in on that bet so maybe some people in the know expects to see this to reach the championship rounds.  In that case this might be a dog fight, and if it is, Diaz might have the edge.  I am slowly having regrets betting on McGregor.
11694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 20, 2016, 10:56:46 PM
Yeah... Good old Liverpool, pulling off big wins against big teams... and then losing to crappy teams Sad

As predicted the Leicester v. Arsenal one was played tight. Neither team wanting to end up with 2 losses to start the season, so no goals scored and a 0-0 result... Thank goodness for "Draw no bet" Wink A little surprised by the Swansea v Hull result... I would have thought Swansea should have won that one, but another 2-0 result in favour of the lesser team.

That's football I guess... Still, I think I'm tracking OK to come away with a nice little profit from this weekend.

So I guess there will be no piggy back rides on Klopp's back this time?  Lol.

With Leicester vs Arsenal, I thought Leicester would get away with a win.  Arsenal seems not motivated enough or maybe doesn't have the positive attitude needed to start the season.  They're not having a good transfer window, the fans look bored with the club, the squad looks stale with mostly the same faces having no one to look forward to watch and Wenger isn't bringing hope to win trophies.

I expect to see the downward spiral continue with Arsenal.  This could be Wenger's last season with them.

11695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 20, 2016, 10:43:01 PM
Manchester City did not earn a 4-1 Win IMO, they played rather clumsy, lost allot of scoring opportunities and did not seem to dominate as much as you expect when you see the score, Excluding the late game goals they didn't seem to just fit with Pepe training style yet.

I agree with you.  The build up of their attack up to the attacking third was good but they can't finish the play somehow.  They also didn't dominate the game like most would expect.  But to me Stoke was always a tough club to play against in the EPL.  No top side was assured a win when playing at the Brittania Stadium.

And yes they still haven't gotten used to Pep's methods yet.  The tempo is just not quite there at the moment.
11696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 20, 2016, 03:18:24 AM
Guys, what do you think about Pogba's games? it is worth as much money? I am positively surprised. He play very well, and surprising how easy the game for him.
Mourinho has given stability in the team. even a Felaini seemed a very safe and skilfully with ball

Pogba played very well.  He was all around the pitch doing everything in defense and attack.  If he keeps this up he will be a legend at United.  And from the looks of it this year it will be Pogba > Kante.

I'd like to see P2P, cryptographically secure, unregulated online poker.  Bring back the purity of the game through technology.  I'm sick and tired of how commercial the game has become.  I'd like to see the days of the backroom players return.  But with the new generation and this time it's all happening online.

Lisk broke out in case some of you didn't notice.  It started as a slow steady price rise which was almost flat.  Then followed by a sudden surge in volume and a faster tempo going above .0005 that started around. 00048ish.  Congrats to those who accumulated under .0004.  Charles Hoskinson must be licking his chops right now, "Rise riiiiise my little pet".  Lol j/k.  Grin

I will post a chart later for visualization's sake.

I think Pep is in for a test this weekend against Stoke.  Stoke has the toughest home crowd in the EPL in my opinion and even the best club isn't sure to win over there away.  I won't discount a 1 - 1 draw from happening in that match.
