11683  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Skrill via BTC/PM/OKPay on: May 26, 2015, 10:49:30 AM
I can do if you pay me some extra Wink

Same here as I don't mind getting extra BTC for my Skrill. Jokes apart, I am interested only in a 1:1 exchange  Wink

Escrow would be MZ as he doesn't charge any fees.
11684  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Skrill via BTC/PM/OKPay on: May 26, 2015, 07:43:01 AM
skrill takes fees also of 1% , SO post the amount without fees, as fees is always paid by you Smiley

Amount will be in INR. The amount after deducting the fee is INR 563.35 ($8.84). I will be paying the fee  Smiley

I have 1.38 usd perfectmoney . I want NEFT , can you do that ?

He is sending skrill not NEFT . In skrill he has  INR  ( currency ) , that is what he means i think Smiley

Yes, you're right. I am not sending cash via NEFT and that's clear in the OP. I am accepting Perfect Money/BTC/NEFT for Skrill only.
11685  Other / Meta / Re: no email to reset the password on: May 26, 2015, 07:41:50 AM
nothing in the spam folder!

i receive updates in the inbox, illogical to have from same email address, mails in inbox and spam....
Have you simply logged out and tried to log back in with your new password? As far as I understand it there are no password change confirmation emails, because if an attacker got into your account he could just change your email anyway. I might be wrong about that last part. Can anyone confirm that BCT does not send pw change confirmation emails which need to be clicked to change the pw??

Confirmed

Log in using old password, change password, log in using new password. No email confirmation.

Exactly. Why would you need to reset your password when you can just simply change the password directly without even opening your email?

He has written in the OP that he doesn't remember his password or his password has changed "i try to log in and password is corrupted or something".
11686  Other / Meta / Re: About the recent server compromise on: May 25, 2015, 08:19:11 PM
Now I started receiving spam emails from maximeco******@gma and some vayne*****@gmail.com. Any way to report these emails or ban these users' accounts as they seem to be the hackers.

Of course they can be reported to your email provider but blocking out the emails doesn't do much good for the forum to be able to do anything about it not that they could anyway as they likely wont be linked to accounts here.

I have reported the emails to theymos and hope that he can track those accounts and take an action soon. I don't know how to report it to my email provider. I just clicked "Report Spam."
11687  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people think income tax is ok? on: May 25, 2015, 08:12:28 PM
Taxes are enslavement. If people pay taxes voluntarily, they aren't taxes. They are purchases, or donations.

The idea of a voluntary tax is an oxymoron self-contradiction. Either it is a tax = slavery. Or it is a donation/purchase.

Smiley

Excellent thought I must say. So people who are willing to give donations are not slaves while those who are forced to pay taxes are slaves?

I guess then 99% people would love NOT to pay for their food/electricity/housing/clothes and those who are forced to pay for the same are slaves. We should get everything for free then life would be a pleasure right?

Move this to the Meta section and please specify the earlier account's profile link. If it was hacked, you can recover it with a signed message.

don't know how to move it

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=372118

what is a signed message?

i think is past 1h and i got nothing.
no fake data!

the weird part is that before the forum went down, i changed the email address, and now i receive updates on the old email!
no rest password mail in neither email addresses!

Refer to this screenshot to move your topic to meta:

If you are receiving updates of this account "mavericklm" in your email inbox, it doesn't seem that your account was compromised then but still am not sure as your password is corrupted even though you accessed it on May 22nd. May be it may take time to receive the reset email.

Signed message is necessary only if your account has been hacked. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0;topicseen

I could login to my account with my old password and then I changed my password and did not reset it. No clue if I did anything wrong now.
11690  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people think income tax is ok? on: May 25, 2015, 07:12:04 PM
Taxes are necessary and hence the Government enforces all to pay it but at the same time the income groups which fall in the category of income tax payers should be decided on appropriately. Some people are taxed at the same rate as those who earn over almost triple the amount as them which is why people try to escape from paying taxes. If taxes aren't paid, then how will the Government have money to repair roads, public transportation, water pipes and so on. To expect to get everything free and considering it slavery is not logical. There aren't any free lunches in this world  Roll Eyes

Are their not other taxes besides income that could pay for those.

The amount is not even in crores, it goes beyond that amount and what taxes we pay for water, property, road, electricity and so on may not be sufficient.
11691  Other / Meta / Re: Influx of Hacked Accounts on: May 25, 2015, 07:04:46 PM
I have seen people claiming that their BCT and email accounts are hacked (their passwords were reset). Now it's getting difficult to even trust the old trusted members. Trading will be more difficult if any escrow's account was hacked.

It is not that hard, the users can still sign using their know bitcoin address prove their identity.

That's not the issue but now there might be many users who will claim their accounts as being hacked. Theymos will be having a tough time to recover these accounts and if these users have used their email accounts or bitcoin accounts with the same password, then chances of recovering their account is almost nil.

Thanks theymos for the hardwork. I changed my password but not my email ID as I'm not sure if I should do it as the pwd used on this forum wasn't used anywhere else fortunately. I've not received any phishing email except this one yesterday:

Whether you change your email or not is up to you and it should be ok but remember it has been exposed now so take that into consideration.

Yeah I know that the address is now revealed to the hacker but not the password. Anyways my PMs too don't have any sensitive information except my email address. Only issue is the IP addresses which have been leaked now. I hope it doesn't harm me or any other member.

I deleted my earlier message as it wasn't relevant to this thread.

11697  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Osama bin Laden, George W Bush and Hitler: The biggest villains in history on: May 21, 2015, 08:36:28 PM
I wonder why George Bush is considered a criminal/terrorist. Haven't heard anything as such in the news.

He's a war criminal who illegally invaded Iraq (with falsified intelligence) and is responsible the deaths of over 1.2 million Iraqi civilians. In my books that pretty much makes him a bad guy. You're either with us or against us Wink

Oh, if he has done this then he too falls in the terrorist category. Shocking that he was a President of US with such a criminal record. http://www.forwardprogressives.com/germany-filing-war-crimes-charges-george-bush-dick-cheney/

Even "Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar" should have been listed here. He and Laden fall in the same category.
11698  Other / Meta / Re: Bought an account , and received a negative reputation a month later on: May 21, 2015, 07:37:36 PM
No, it isn't, because one person can have multiple IP addresses across the globe if they want to.

How many hours of everyone's time has been wasted by account selling and throwing theories around about scammer alts, whether negs should be removed, etc? If this was my forum, every sold account would be banned, with some sort of algorithm to detect it (password change forces logout and immediate relogin from same IP, perhaps).

Yeah, proxy can be used. If the OP tried to fake this account sale, I don't see a huge amount risked here as I don't think he even made a good amount in BTC by faking this sale or scamming anyone here. If this case is true, such a person needs treatment. I've never come across such a rare case in my life.

Account sales should be banned here else such cases would keep coming up and the admin would need to provide evidences for such scams. Here I can't even say if I am talking to 5 different people on my thread or if it's one person. I actually have spoken to 3 different members on this forum for a deal and now I realized the 3 members were actually only 1 person who owns more 4-5 accounts.

What is Jesus Christ, Muhammed and a Pope doing in such a list? Where the above have been known for their good work, they are being listed with criminals and terrorists? It doesn't make sense for their names to be added as well.

The top end of the list are the most Heroic with the villains at the bottom. However, Mohammed seems to be in the middle but some people would count him as a terrorist whereas Most Muslims wont.

Muhammed is their God and hence they wouldn't believe that he is a villain. I wonder why George Bush is considered a criminal/terrorist. Haven't heard anything as such in the news.
