11761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do America and England follow bitcoin? on: January 31, 2017, 05:16:04 AM

So that's pretty sums up who's who are embracing or adopting bitcoins around the world....
11762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction? on: January 30, 2017, 02:57:32 PM
I remember it vividly. Here's how it goes: I decided to invest my precious btc to a btc investor site. Got their wallet address and then I click "send". My btc then went to 0. After a few minutes I checked my account in the company and still it's still not credited. I got nervous and then doubts sets in. Waited a few more minutes and still not there so I panicked and don't know what to do and its already like 1:00 am our local time however I can't sleep because I don't know what happened. However, I decided to check blockchain.info to see what going on. Only that time that I understand that I have to wait for few more minutes or hour to get my btc to my btc invest account. So I took a nap and then viola, it was already there. I was so happy then so the next time I try to send, I just stay patience and not worry about it like I did the first time.  Grin
11763  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How saturated is the betting market. on: January 30, 2017, 11:58:56 AM
Hello. I know I maybe come a bit late but I would like to know how saturated the bitcoin casino market is.
Is it worth investing in a decent provably fair site with an original betting system? Kinda like a crash lounge like bustabit?
Or am I going to lose my money and won't even be able to compete with the big sites?

Landline based casino area already saturated, that's why some of them are going on-line now.
But online btc games are not yet saturated. Go for dice game!!!I think its the most profitable games right now. But In order to actually make it these days you need a site with a lot of features, no downtime, a great customer support and an new idea. Good Luck!!!
11764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 208: Holm vs De Randamie Info and Prediction Thread on: January 30, 2017, 11:34:34 AM
@HaXX0R1337. Travis Browne is not a top 3 fighter judging from his fight history. He can jump from camp to camp to make himself a better fighter but that will do him no good in the UFC. The skill level is very high in MMA these days and all he can hope for is to become a gate keeper in the heavy weight division or maybe can get lucky like Michael Bisping.

IMHO, Travis Browne can be a legit heavyweight contender still. His problem is more of a mental thing.  I still remember his KO's win over Barnett, Gonzaga and Overeem, wicked elbows!!!. I hope he can still recover his old form and win against Lewis so that he can still prove that he still has some in his tank and a win would obviously put his name in the title contention for the HW title in the future.
11765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: January 30, 2017, 04:56:07 AM
The Pelicans let me down big time tonight as they were the only team that I missed in my 4 leg parlay bet. I had the Mavericks +13.5 Magic +9.5 Pelicans at the money line and GSW at the money line. The GSW game is not finished yet and they still might lose in a close game currently the score is GSW 106 to 102 with 30 seconds to go.

Damn, what a match, Kevin Durant is unstoppable! Too bad I bet my money on Blazers, lost!

Warriors - 113 vs Blazers - 111
Durant: 33 Pts. Durant: 6 Asts. Durant: 10 Rebs./McCollum: 28 Pts. Lillard: 8 Asts. Plumlee: 11 Rebs

Portland overcame a 21-point deficit to make the game interesting, but Evan Turner missed a corner three-pointer at the buzzer to ensure a Golden State win.  P.S. I also had my money on Portland, so lost also!!!
11766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: January 30, 2017, 04:36:02 AM
Mine is this one; https://www.izlesene.com/video/izmirdeki-at-yarisinda-talihsiz-kaza/9041898

In this video i can see my head at 0.20second. I live in Turkey/Izmir and almost watch all races at racetrack when horse races in Izmir. My ticket lost coz of this race. You must know 6 winner horse for big price i knew other 5 except this one. Milano horse name how can i forget this fu**in name.

Hope one day luck will knock my door too...

Went to the casino for 2 days won big then went home. The next day try to play again but lost including my bankroll!!!.

In our country we also have similar betting system as yours, we call it WTA or winner take all. Its like 7 out of 7. Horse racing here is almost everyday  Grin. I always had the same experience as yours like every month at least I got 6 out of 7 although I get some consolation price if If no one won 7 out of 7 and if you got 6/7 winners.
11767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Mass Adoption even possible.. on: January 30, 2017, 04:17:46 AM
Cryptos are almost like stocks and most people have no interest in learning stocks even though the stock exchange is trusted platform.

Thoughts?

The main reason? "Money".

They don't want to go to stocks because they can't afford it. If they have the money, they won't invest it because they think it is a gamble so they fear that they will loss their money. While others won't because they don't understand it. simple as that. Or they believe that stock markets is not the place to get rich. Some have other prioritize like homes, cars and their children's education before they are willing to go to invest into something.

11769  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be in 2018 on: January 28, 2017, 03:00:23 PM
If bitcoin become accessible to traditional investors and mass adoption then I speculate that the price of bitcoin could reach 2100 USD. I think stability and wider participation are more important for the long term to get the price increasing to 1600 USD then slowly getting to 2000 USD at the end of the year.
11770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: January 28, 2017, 11:13:55 AM
Why did Satoshi hide his identity? Has anyone seen Satoshi in real life?
Is Satoshi one person? Or is it a community?

Perhaps he just wanted to stay out of the public press and be private in real life. Its like winning a jackpot, you should never exposed yourself because you will fear for your life. So keeping a low profile keeps you out of danger. Going public would mean giving up his privacy and paying large sum of money because of taxes.
11771  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stolen Bitfinex Coins on the Move on: January 28, 2017, 05:09:54 AM
It would be very funny if he/they convert to fiat and make a bank transfer :O who know... it's clear he is not 100% sure with how to move all this.
We are seeing a thief in real time. Kraken has frozen a deposit already and I am sure some others will follow the same path, I heard there is a good communication between some exchanges... If they all do this, it can ve a great message for the bitcoin comunity and outside bitcoin

I don't think he will convert this fiat because he know he will be caught.. The only likely scenario is to a bitcoin mixing services. The question is who's mixing services would accomodate such tainted bitcoins?
11772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a crypto enthusiast? What has driven you into becoming one? on: January 28, 2017, 04:00:52 AM
I was in the world of Internet Marketing before so Bitcoin was always at my radar. Got involved again last year and Bitcoin was introduced to me by someone and I joined this forum. This forum then really strike my addiction to Bitcoin because of the discussions, debate and the knowledge you can gain just by browsing thru the thread. Someday, I wanna go to a Bitcoin convention and meet other cyptho enthusiast as well.

11774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Investment Doubt on: January 27, 2017, 04:13:39 PM
I know a friend who invested in a gambling site but I don't know how much he invest. Last time I checked with him, he said he already withdraw his invested because he is not happy on the ROI for a month. He said he got between 98-100% of his investment. So that's a month of investment and the return is 100%.
11775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 27, 2017, 03:59:32 PM
I think Nadal vs Federer will be much more exciting. 2 players with multiple titles and experience behind them. I will have to pick Nadal because he is really playing amazing and the momentum though we dont know if he has still some in his tank after his gruelling win over Dimitrov, but still I have Nadal in a classic win to win the AO 2017.
11776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if the bitcoin developer team breaks down? on: January 27, 2017, 03:46:52 PM
If this has to happen, I think a lot of programmers would love to continue and take over the coding and probably improve it. Its open-source so I think a lot of programmers are currently contributing aside from the core/dev team. Merging and testing are another thing, but if is unlikely scenario would have happen, bitcoin will still continue to exist and who knows in the future.
11777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 27, 2017, 08:24:48 AM
Initially, criminals think that they can get away and because they think it anonymous and can't be track. But, they are dead wrong. Example is the creator of Silk Road, he thinks trading and selling illegal drugs in the dark market is ok, however he was caught and sentence to life imprisonment. However, I still believe that majority of bitcoin user are law-abiding people. Only a few just manage to take advantage of it.
11778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 210: Cormier vs Johnson Info and Prediction Thread on: January 26, 2017, 09:54:13 AM
I'll pick DC to win again. DC has proven that he has a iron-chin and can take Johnson punch as evident in their first fight. Cormier should be able to mix in his strikes, clinch, and takedowns enough to grind it out again, enough to take advantage either standing or with takedowns. Plus Rumble is not known for conditioning and will easily gas it out similar to their first fight. DC by decision.
11779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 26, 2017, 06:34:42 AM
Dislodging Bitcoin is a difficult task but not unachievable. There have been a lot of other alt currencies (litecoin, etc) that have been popping up, but don't seem to have what Bitcoin does. I think down the road potentially, it may replaced bitcoin. Although, we must not forget that it’s been just a few years since the bitcoin came into existence and there’s still a long way to go.
11780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: January 26, 2017, 05:21:25 AM
personally i am agree with your idea but some peoples don't have any skills to get some money so they have different way to get money, so some peoples decide to join any campaigns it's not a wrong way but dont be a spammer Smiley lots way to make  like selling, trading, mining etc so choose what you like and prefer
you said that the people who don't have any skills so they joins any signature compaign i dont think so that people who join signature compaign are lack of skills i think the advertising a product is also a good skill and many of the peoples are very successful in this feild and earning a decent amount of money.....
Well said. Joining sig campaign is not easy as you think mate you will need good english skills and constructive post also. As I've said people who joins sig camapaign will find it hard especially those people who can't really understand the basic english.

By joining sig campaign you can earn btc because you will be paid by the advertiser. After all, it is important to post constructive things which add to the conversation, and not easy as you think. Investing but if you are don't have the skills, knowledge and time you might end up losing your money.
