seriously. This US citizen tech and finance savvy newbie is at day 9 attempting to buy $50 of BitCoin. I think I might be able to by the end of the week.
Here is Canada one can do this in a matter of a few hours 1) Sign up for an account at https://www.cavirtex.com/2) Walk to the nearest Royal Bank of Canada and deposit $50 3) In 1-3 hours your account at https://www.cavirtex.com/ is credited 4) Purchase Bitcoin and withdraw to wallet +1 CANADA RULES. MOVE TO CANADA. In all seriousness, Boss, the platform (bitcoin) is here. We just need the innovation to implement the user-friendly experience you're looking for. At the moment, I think bitcoin is easy for about 1/4 of the population (ie. 16-30 year-old tech-savvy consumers). We're getting there, slowly.

Unfortunatly Bit-Pay is US only, something like Bitpay is really needed in EU.
I really don´t think that Bitcoin is a hardsell for the right kind of business. Small and medium. Most of those have nothing to lose on it.
Why couldn't Bit-pay farm out their solutions to local providers in other countries?

Right now, there is so much unscientific BS going on with the AGW claims that you might as well declare it a state religion rather than hard science.
It should be obvious to everyone, but I think Jersey Shore and Justin Bieber have melted everyone's brains.

The world of international money transfer is MUCH bigger than Bitcoin. I wouldn't be surprised if the people who made this ruling still haven't heard of Bitcoin.
Maybe not, but I'm sure their bosses have. Compartmentalization.

Edward: care to prove your point by disclosing your current position?
OP promised a price drop to $1 in October when it hit 2$. Check his posts. If its $0.50 cents, OP will predict $0.05.

Now that we broke into the 3's, expect a small rebound before we start heading towards the $2's.
New psychological level is now set at 3's.
Will not be long before we are back into the 2's.

"If you, [specific person], kill five blue-eyed people right now, I'll give you 200 bitcoins."
Isn't this speech already banned as an overt act in a conspiracy to commit homicide?
Wikipedia: Criminal law .... may require that at least one overt act must also have been undertaken in furtherance of that agreement, to constitute an offense. There is no .... requirement that any steps have been taken to put the plan into effect.
Anyway, I picked it to be banned.

Let me fix what revalin said
Slightly longer answer: It does the same thing as when you throw away a ingot of gold.
Also oversimplified - if you lose an ingot of gold, someone may find it again. If you lose the keys to your wallet, there is basically zero chance of recovery. And yet the keys still exist!

Retailers must also report any suspicious activity using an IRS form called a “Suspicious Activity Report.”
Fill one out and list all IRS activities as "suspicious activity". "I saw something so I said something".

I called the property management company that leases those apartments. The lady scoffed at the idea that someone was manufacturing anything up there.
So you seem to have found the address for his wire transfers (great detective work there) and latched on to that. Firstly, I'm not sure why you're assuming that the address he receives wire transfers to is the same address they manufacture these things. Why would it be? Secondly, you seem to still be stuck on the "it's a scam!" bandwagon. Even the hardcore trolls in here have given up on that one. If it is a scam, it's a bloody intricate one. I think you can give up on that broken record. Try focusing on the delays instead, at least that's true and you can milk it a while longer. PR for butterfly labs?

1/4" would work fine, just if I was doing rapid prototyping you usually pay per cubic inch of material and it only needs to be 2/10 thick
As Deslok says, 0.2" is not going to be available typically. Although 0.2" = 5.08mm, so maybe 5mm metric would work. Send a drawing & quantity, I can make up a quote for you.

It would take a little away from the design but could still work i think. Can you cnc plastic thats 2/10 inch thick?
Possibly I might be able to cut these out of 1/4" stock and sand off 0.05 inches with a 48" sheet sander. That is, if you think you'll need enough to fill a sheet.
