1181  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 27, 2016, 01:46:13 PM
I also very much encouraged by the fact that more and more stores have begun to accept Bitcoin. But to live a very hard without fiat currency. It should be for everyone. In the next few years the situation will not change significantly.

well you are right it is very difficult if you live without fiat because by the end of the day our bitcoin we are exchanging it to our own fiat because there are still no stores that accepts bitcoin in our country weell I think next few years bitcoin is getting famous and lot of users and also there are lot of shops that accepts bitcoin and fiat stays fiat

If you try, you can live without a fiat currency. It does not matter whether all stores accept Bitcoin. There will always be someone who can sell you anything for Bitcoins.

It can be but it is still hard to do especially when we need to provide our basic needs or in emergency cases , bitcoin stores or sellers might not always be there so it is impossible to live without our own fiat, fiat that is being accepted by many.
That is the greatness of fiat nowadays that bitcoin cannot do for now we cannot just use bitcoin as a payment since it is not really a legal tender, Bitcoin has been a great help in our society, indeed but there are things that might really consider before we can eliminate fiat and that would take a long years before it would happen.
1182  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do we cross the 1000 USD barrier? on: December 27, 2016, 01:30:58 PM
maybe this coming 2017 will start to move on 1000 usd barrier.. i've been wondering this since then i think it would actually happen but expect the big drop down when we reach the $1000 barrier.. because there will be users that will transfer their bitcoin to fiat so bitcoin will lose a users so they will drop down the price of bitcoin in the sake of the user to comeback..
That is the reality, bitcoin  is just like a wheel sometimes it goes up sometimes down. Nevertheless, it is a great thing for those who are waiting for the $1000. It is okay since it is one of  our real purpose here in joining bitcoin to earn $$ by holding bitcoin and when the price met our expectation then we transfer it to fiat, and buy again when price goes down. It is really a cycle.
1183  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Hanggang kailan tatagal ang BITCOIN? on: December 27, 2016, 01:17:59 PM
forever itong bitcoin.100%

I can see bitcoin as a future, I believe na as long as hindi 'to masyado nagagamit sa kalokohan which is talamak talaga sa ibang bansa, ginagamit as payment para sa bentahan ng drugs, etc.
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: December 27, 2016, 01:07:47 PM
Sad to say but it is for real talk, for all we know that bitcoin transaction is anonymous that is why other person abuse its function and advantage.
You cannot really hold the mind of all people, we have different perspectives in life. As we are contented in earning bitcoin in a proper way the other people may think it is one way to do easy money.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: December 26, 2016, 07:28:32 AM
I think its always better to sell the bitcoins after a quite bit of time .because u dont know when the price of bitcoins will go down and go extinct .there is also possibility that ur country might not accept bitcoins and abandon bitcoins.what will u do then ? Thats y sell it as soon as u get it .
Mining is good for those who has money to make capital because mining is costly and risky while saving your bitcoin is better. If I were you if you don't that much need money then save even half of your bitcoin earnings and let it age for about 1-2 years or just sell the other half or trade the others. You should just know how to whirl your money and make your own strategy.
1186  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: December 26, 2016, 07:20:34 AM
The worst decision I made way back 2014 when it is at its low price and indeed my friend told me to invest even 2 bitcoin but I refuse so, I didn't believe him well and look at the value of the bitcoin now, I feel so sorry now but still longing to have even 1 bitcoin in my wallet 'till next month. And to wait the value of it after 2 years.
I think we have the same problem. many of my friends who told me that it is better to hold bitcoin that I have had since 2015. I might then have 0.8 BTC. Well, he told me that the price of bitcoin in 2016 will exceed $ 750, but I never heard it, and sell bitcoin I have a low price. Well, looking at the current price, I regretted my decision for the year.
Well, for some reasons that is life bro. We regret the things that we didn't expect to happen because sometimes we don't believe what we really don't see, well, that is life. It's okay what matters is at the end of the day we learned from it.
Now, I don't want to regret anymore that is why I am holding my bitcoin earnings in forum and in trading and wait for 2 years.
1187  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: December 26, 2016, 05:35:24 AM
How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire ($) in 5 years? Why?
Let us be realistic for now so I would go for more than 1000 bitcoin based on its current value now.
But, if the bitcoin continue to rise less than 1000 bitcoin would make you a millionaire in 5 years if you just hold your bitcoin and wait for it.
That is why hold your bitcoin as much as you can before you feel sorry in coming years as I do.
1188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: December 26, 2016, 04:57:09 AM
I don't think there is really a best time to become a trader, anyone and anytime can do so, if you have the capital then shoot.
If you are teenager why not if you have the guts then go. The important in trading is you have to be hands on, you should know the trend, start in small so you could know what and which coin is good at present.
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost BTC from getting infected? on: December 26, 2016, 04:19:49 AM
Have you ever downloaded and run software that exploited your Bitcoin wallet? What software was it and how much Bitcoin have you lost?

Do not post URLs please, just write your experience ))

When I was young, I downloaded a "Steam account cracker", which of course was a nasty trojan and not in the good meaning. Fortunately, I haven't lost Bitcoin from the case. Maybe because I didn't have any that time  Grin But my system behaved very strange and after virus removal, I had to change all my passwords.
Never in my life I experience that, I am strict with what I am downloading, I read it carefully and don't just download any suspicious apps or any.
There are lots of instances I red that lost their bitcoin by downloading and others by signing up but they are just getting your information, so be very careful with it. Don't just give information instantly especially your bitcoin address.
1190  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Willing Ka Ba Magbayad ng Buwis? on: December 26, 2016, 04:15:26 AM

Ang aking tanong...are you willing to pay a certain tax if the government will ask you to do so on Bitcoin transactions?
1191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do when BTC shoots up? on: December 26, 2016, 04:11:11 AM
At this moment, I'm selling about 25% amount of my total bitcoin into fiat.
And for other rest, I'm keep holding until next halving, I'm sure the bitcoin value will grow exponentially over time so I can't sell all it out.

Anyway I was so shocked that bitcoin reach highest value on this year

Same here! Bitcoin has the potential to reward it's investors. I become encouraged when I see bitcoins rising in value and I introduce it to other people outside the crypto community. I do this even when the price corrects. Bitcoin is for everyone and the success of bitcoin depends on how much people decides to use it.

I can see that bitcoin would boom the following year especially in our country where there are lots of users who joined this forum.
Everyday there are lots of users getting interested here like you especially business minded person who sees bitcoin as one of their investments.
So, I think we have a good start on the year 2017. Let us all 'cheer' at the end of the year.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true or a speculation on: December 26, 2016, 03:29:14 AM
Somewhere while surfing I read popular sites often makes less known sites use the money to pay first then scam and then continue on the popular sites. Could this also be happening in the Bitcoin industry. Start a roll dice or casino, open a hyip and then hyip goes scam and front site continues, no one comes to know. Or this is purely speculation, none of this happens?
Well this is the problems that bitcoin is facing right now. Scammers  are everywhere. Some victims of this scamming incidents are just noob users. Maybe if they are careful. Maybe it will lessen this kind of crime. Its a bad publicity for bitcoin. I think scam can never be stopped. Sometimes it will give us lessons.
We can't really please everyone, especially for those greedy in money, who are not contented in what they have.
Before I joined bitcoin I once a victim of scam also and thinking that bitcoin is just scam but proven that there are just sites who are just offering big money. Lesson learned for me. Hope everyone to be vigilant always think twice before joining and research well.

Even if we do our research, even the high trust rating will scam or disappear sooner or later. I just remembered hashocean and minutebtc they gain high trust ratings and stay for a year before they scam people collecting millions if money. I also tried the safest investment sites according to some reviews but the income is very poor and you cannot take back your capital. The only thing to earn today is just to hold your bitcoins and wait for an inflation.
Great. That is what in my mind also I don't go to investment sites but rather do trading even in small amount, and I'll take a hold in my bitcoin from now on and wait for its value for the next two years before I withdraw it.
I don't trust any investment sites for now, I have already trauma with them, I am happy with my earnings now.

1194  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: December 26, 2016, 02:50:46 AM
Future of Bitcoin Economics depends on mass adoption of Bitcoin. No body can predict accurately the true future of Bitcoin.
History speaks for itself, you can predict and analyze thru its trend. Mayeb it is not as accurate as we predict  because it is really depends on the users but at least you have the basis when you want to invest now or do some trading, you can also rely on the predictions of the expert saying that bitcoin price in 2017 will get higher.
1195  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: No to Rank DISCRIMINATION!!! :) on: December 26, 2016, 02:15:57 AM

So, meaning Newbies tahimik nalang tayo..  Undecided

1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 26, 2016, 02:07:54 AM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
I did introduce this to our cousins who are teenager and are spending most of their idle time doing online games. I told them to do this bitcoin forum while they are online, but they were just so confused but never tried this. Maybe at their age 16-17 they are not yet after the  money since they get money thru their parents.

1198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 25, 2016, 04:38:40 PM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?

Happy holidays!

edit: grammar
I would like to honestly answer it and may answer is NO 1 bitcoin for now. But overall I earn more than 10 btc.
If I don't have kids to feed then I'll just let my bitcoin even half in my wallet and let it increase it's value as the way others are doing. I am a bit envy to those who has more than 1bitcoin now.
Nice job guys!!
1199  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: December 25, 2016, 04:25:36 PM
Whether you still believe or not, You still need to believe because that is how we make for a living by believing in fiat and working for that thing. That "fiat" will help us to survive day by day and buy the things we want and also make more fiat  or money. Don't imagine or expect too much that fiat will no longer exist on the next few years because that is impossible. Bitcoin still needs a lot of time and development to be accepted as a currency and also be stable Roll Eyes.
We should not wasting our time thinking of the impossible things.
We live in a modern world and fiat is all around. Never can a bitcoin replace it because it just have a certain number and I don't think we can survive if that happens.
1200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Newbie on: December 25, 2016, 04:19:13 PM
Start out with small trades until you get the hang of it. Also wait for a good drop in the price of the coin you want to buy before you make a buy order so you can start with a chance for a profit.
That is a good advice, Start doing small trades or starting from a small capital to test the market and be able to get the flow of the market or the site that you choose to trade in. Once you get the flow of the trade on a particular coin then you can risk a bigger capital and since you know that flow then you will have a higher chance of getting good profits.
Certaily right. Belive them I also once starter and I just followed their advice, I started at low price 'till I could familiar and focus on the trend of the market.
Right now I am still doing trading sometimes you lose that is normal but if you'll just focus and patient you'll be successful.
