1181  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: October 30, 2017, 07:04:28 PM
paper money is money made of paper and wooden paper from trees in this forest, if paper money is still used and do not switch to digital currency then this earth will become a barren earth and will be too hot.
Still paper money holds too much importance. In my opinion it has no relation with the environment and forests because the major component used in paper money is plastic not wood. Slowly the people had started using digital currency. Still people use their ATM card rather than using paper money, which we can also be considered a type of digital money.
1182  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 29, 2017, 06:45:49 PM
My favorite way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge is by talking about it as much as possible any chance I get. It's important not to go out of your way, so you only attract those that want to listen the majority of the time.
The easiest and better way to attract people towards bitcoin is acknowledging them about the quick and easy service , high security , safe future and multiple benefits . Share your achievements in bitcoins and guide them how to invest in bitcoin . The more they get guidance the more likely will they invest in it and enjoy its miracles.
1183  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: October 29, 2017, 04:36:13 PM
dont think so. but its posible. anyone could do coruption if they want but im the end they will get caught. even its not a new thing that many of bitcoin use to be terorist fund raising and money laundry.
Well it can be possible but it doesn’t mean that bitcoin is here for corruption or for other illegal things because when you study bitcoin in detail so it will teach you good things not bad so it’s in our hand how to use bitcoin so we need to see the positive aspects of bitcoin and I’m sure if earn bitcoin with legal way so you will not do any corruption here.
1184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: October 29, 2017, 04:12:27 PM
I don't check everyday. I check every hour!
Wow that very good to check the price every hour and I think it’s very good for its users because if you don’t know about the price of bitcoin you can lose your money so always keep your eyes on market and you can take a very good profit in right time and that what I’m going to do every day because I know how bitcoin is important for me.
1185  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: October 28, 2017, 05:04:46 PM
Altcoin prices are now very low, almost all Altcoin owners are in a difficult situation. Altcoin prices were a little better yesterday. The division that will take place on October 25th already affects me negatively.
They are now very low and the best time to get involved in any altcoin is absolutely now. The upcoming really affected a whole lot of people who were holding their altcoins before the huge crash, but it is just one of those things we have to keep contending with.

As you profit in some places, you lose in some places, just that the losses can be bad sometimes, if not properly and smartly handled but good times are coming.
Trading is good, I’ve seen a lot of people that made profits from it, but one thing you should know is that it never favors everyone. Some people that joins trading usually lose, and I see more losers more than winners. It’s all depending on your luck.

However, people do say if you’re going to get into trading, you should always invest something you wouldn’t mind losing.
Trading is no doubt very much profitable thing but at the very same time it is very much risky as well. Trading is an art and not everyone is an artist. If you are well experienced, only then you should go for trading. Otherwise, it is of no use to get into trading. Bitcoin is in fact a good option as it is less risky and there are greater chances of success. You can earn a good amount of profit.
1186  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What happened ? on: October 28, 2017, 05:02:11 PM
i heard some people said, bitcoin price will go to $ 10.000/bitcoin in a few months ahead, and that will make ALT going to priceless
People say so different things that I do not know which one to believe. But the price of bitcoin will never be 10 thousand dollars this year. But no one can predict exactly, especially about the price of bitcoin.
In the world of bitcoin, there are so many things which will keep on happening in the future as well just like the way things happened in the past. As far as market price of bitcoin is concerned, there are very much chances that it reaches to the value that you just predicted. The way bitcoin price is increasing, it is not a big deal for bitcoin to achieve this milestone.
Bitcoin value was still fluctuates into $5500-$6000, what happened it seems no newly news regarding increasing value of bitcoin. Maybe crypto currency now was on stable value.
I'm looking forward to the future value of bitcoin together with the altcoins and others coins, hopefully it will become successful in the future.
Looking at the way bitcoin is making progress and earning this much of fame and popularity amongst the people, I am very much hopeful that bitcoin holds a very bright future. There are so many investors who are really satisfied with the performance of bitcoin. Moreover, things will be very much changed in the coming days. There will be only one thing which will be ruling the world and that will be bitcoin.

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: July 24, 2017, 04:07:08 PM
I would like to make it known that we had the option to fork VERI, but chose not to. At the end of the day, the amount stolen was miniscule (less than 00.07%) although the dollar amount was quite material.

How did you came up with this math magic, 00.07% of all VERI? $8,400,000.00 is a LOT and represents, 1.82% out of the $460M MC on July 23 or 2.24% out of the $375 MM on the time of writing. (July 24th, 12:05 PM EST)

Now, you can see how inconsequential the mere hack of a few million dollars

You're like Dimitry Karamazov, "yes, I drunk up half of your money but I am not a thief. For if I were a thief I would've drunk up 100%". Than again, after drinking up another half of what has remained...

Do not fucking downplay the seriousness of the heist. Or a "mere" $84M could be next in line.

Damn.

As long as people are relying on exchanges to do fiat <-> crypto conversions, this possibility will always exist (and its not specific to DASH). The only way to remove the possibility is to stop the dependency on exchanges. Essentially this means you need to do all your business in DASH, or any other crypto, without ever touching Fiat. You can place blame on the exchanges but they're just doing what they're supposed to do...exchange money. There are rules regarding businesses that exchange money, and the crypto based exchanges must follow them if they want to continue business.

Ditto. Andreas M. Antonopoulos used to reply, when asked what would be the (ideal, maximum) value of 1 BTC with: 1 BTC. Businesses and transactions move toward the crypto and we all stop bothering with the current fascist system in which The Financial Crime Cartel writes their own laws and their media sells them thieving midgets as "masters of the Universe" etc.

Look at these idiots. In a just society all of them would be jailed for life, but no...

Would like to put out there a new discussion topic for some thoughts.  Its never really been brought up anywhere that I've seen, but the strong possibility that one or more of the exchanges in this space are being run by law enforcement or other "government" agencies for the purpose of tracking this ecosystem.

The reason I bringing it up is I remember several years ago this exact thing being done by law enforcement in where they setup a fiat currency exchange store front for the sole purpose of ensnaring individuals involved in "money laundry" activities.  The store front was legitimate and was being used by all sorts of everyday people needing exchange services as well as those using it for nefarious purposes.

The point being...who's running the exchanges currently being used?  That to me...is the single biggest point of weakness in this whole space.

For a community, all crypto currencies, that pride themselves in creating or developing secure and private transactions...it seems to be a gapping hole and massive weak spot.

Well, "The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves," Lenin correctly said over a century ago. In Evan's thinking there's a germ of a solution to the problem you raised, something I've been thinking for a long time.

Alas, I am too busy with another proposal at the moment and, being a n00b have to wait for my programming genius to free-up some time and employ his mighty mind by focusing on the gaping hole...

Federal judge orders Apple to build a backdoor to the iPhone to catch terrorists.

Apple says they're not doing it. (At least that's what they're saying in public  Wink  ).

No backdoor is built unless publicly denied it has been. Smiley

Since I have no more money in any of The Financial Crime Cartel financial fraud markets I have a guilty pleasure observing how all that shite is crumbling down.

Then you'll enjoy Jim Willie's latest rant  Cheesy

Talk about volatility b.t.w.. Italian banks up 5% yesterday, down 5% this morning, heading for 6%. The entire Spanish equity market has lost 35% of its value in 10 months. You have to pay Swedish banks to lend them your money...

The world financial system has gone a bit wonky.

He's too entrenched in the yesteryear's idea of the gold being money -- hint: DASH could be, only if they would listen to your 13 y.o. iPhone girls vs. monetary unit discussion Smiley -- to amuse me anymore. This is much more amusing:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-10/this-is-why-the-fed-is-paying-interest-to-big-banks

(granted this should enrage any thinking person, but laughter is healthier than rage. Even though I have recurring dreams of all these clowns the Financial Crime Cartel puts in their respective offices, them being congresswomen or presidents or anything in between, facing a firing squad)

Very happy to see our Lead Scientist belonging to The Bilderberg Group of Crypto Smiley
...Kidding

Kidding or not, it kind of does fit the description of Bilderberg down to a 'T'. Cries of "snake oil" in public, pats on the back in private.

Lets hope that said "retreat" doesn't involve big redwood trees, owl costumes and male hookers as the blockchain elite prepare for the world financial system to fall into their lap.

It appears to be being detonated as we speak:

Since I have no more money in any of The Financial Crime Cartel financial fraud markets I have a guilty pleasure observing how all that shite is crumbling down. As far as our Bilderberg, well, this is how the world works.

Once Richard and Evan are billionaires as Roger Ver is, they would not be able to sustain an image of "ordinary guys" anymore. But, once they are billionaires the rest of us might be content by being millionaires Smiley

Kidding & long-term concerns aside; DASH does not have a better ambassador than Evan. So this is great. Almost sorry it would be so secret Smiley
