1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: November 29, 2018, 08:13:23 PM
Quite fitting: MCO is about to start real business and has added an additional project to increase crypto adoption with a 5+ year vision - it was never a better time to be involved in MCO than now - and instead this thread is full of FUD'ers.

The CRO token is given away for free. It does not cost you anything other than keeping your MCO locked in your wallet. If you are in for the long run, that's no issue. Traders keep their MCO on exchanges, that's another game.

It would be fitting if the FUD'ers dump their MCO now that the first lockup periods have expired and MCO is about to be rolled out globally with the addition of a project that does not cost users anything.

The market punishes those who are impatient and rewards those who are patient.

I will give topping up the IBAN account in the MCO wallet app a try. Perhaps I will even buy some more MCO through the app just for the fun of it.

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-mining-giant-holds-flash-sale-to-celebrate-price-bottom
Bitcoin mining firm Canaan Creative has revealed it is temporarily cutting prices across all of its crypto mining devices.
As part of its “flash sale” starting today, all of the company’s miners – from the Avalon 921 (20 terahashes per second) to the Avalon 851 (14.5 TH/s) – are all [sic] available at $200 each.

hmmmm

1. Their website does not reflect the $200 price tags.
2. If I am correct, even if the miners are handed out for free, I still need a donation of $600 per month to stay even.

Only those who pay less than 0.08 KWh do not lose money.

One can whine about this project on a daily basis but meanwhile revenue is paid out correctly on a weekly basis.

Besides a full fledged overall bear market and the project being virtually invisible (marketing... huh?), nothing to complain.

Upfiring is on the roll lately. This will be a true test for the appetite of utility tokens with a clear designated purpose (P2P file transfer).

It is clear that the ‘risk-on’ Money is leaving the market for now (also stocks etc) but no great topping process goes without violent ups and downs. Expect risk to switch ‘on’ a few times before the financial markets definitely go bear market.

Umm...the guy said a whole lot of nothing with a lot of words.

Yes, lots of words is what he uses.

But there is an interesting thought on what he calls the ‘Metagame’. In other posts, he describes the behaviour of a coyote encountering a group of humans. The coyote stares down the humans with an expression like ‘I do not care for you humans; I’m not afraid of you’. And puts his nose in the air, turns around and goes away.

The coyote wins this game.

But the humans get together and discuss what they saw. A threatening predator that shows no fear for humans and willing to confront them instead of running away scared at the first sight of humans. The humans vow to hunt this animal so that it’s numbers are decimated.

The humans win. The humans win the Metagame. The coyote is not able to understand that by winning the individual with his behaviour, it is losing the Metagame.

I guess that is what he tries to ask: how is the cryptocurrency community intending to deal with the humans called ‘king’ when taking away their claim on society’s money? How will it save itself from the wrath of the King?

You’ll have to read it all between the lines but I sense that the author understands the tremendous power of of the idea of cryptocurrency. But somehow considers it a lost cause if it’s community does not come to terms with the King on how to blend in and give the King the King’s due.

Personally, I think the King may have less teeth than envisaged. On the other hand, it does is a force to recon with.

This guy does a lot of deep thinking (with a lot of words to express it  Cheesy ). It stems me positive to see some signs that he may be moving ahead in his thinking about cryptocurrency. We won’t make it just with this WO community (sorry guys).

Rinse, repeat indeed.

Look at trading view right now.  Like every single chart shows an imminent pump attempt, then that pump fails and plunges off a cliff again.  Then here's this thread with Bitmain shills spamming all over it trying to get people to sell before this imminent pump and dump attempt occurs.

you confuse market price action with the faith of Bitcoin.

I'dd happily sell a good pump as trader, only to get back in at a lower price. Bitcoin does not care.
