In the past i said that BFL is just a money collector and proxy "between so called engineers" and their customers. I start to believe that AMT are same. just patched the ports issue and changed IP's and passwords.. still want to update the firmware
I wouldn't bother it just maxes out the CPU and causes problems. Also don't open ports from the public internet to your miners, setup a VPN to your firewall and network and do it that way. Don't mess about with this stuff half heartedly. +1 Unless if there is not some sort of vpn preinstalled on the unit digging a secure tunnel outside your FW  however simple ssh/netstat/ps check will reveal that easily:) A lot easy will be just to install precompiled cgminer hacked of course which can silently send 10-20% of your shares somewhere And again simple ssh/netstat will reveal that  Or better tcpdump of your router watching closely what the suspect is doing Conclusion - always compile your images alone or use trustable ones |

I can confirm my PM's with Toots. I received my 80GH miner about 7 weeks after i ordered it. Order Dec 9, received Jan 27. . definitly not the 3-4 weeks i was promised. but i got it. my order # was 928 i have pics. it's currently set up in the optimal cooling configuration. the way i received it, only 1 board hashed at a time. they forgot a USB cable, and i had to add one of my own. the tplink controller needs 1 usb for its power and the other USB now goes to the USB hub, and not to one of the boards. USB cables now go from each technobit hex16b board (there are 2 of these) to the USB hub. 1 board has a bad chip, and i jsut havent sent it back because i woudl lose mining time. it still gets about 41-43GH. the good board gets about 43-45gh. so about 84-88GH total. almost always mines above stated rating. https://i.imgur.com/eK8jwTb.png tplink controller - yes, this is how it came. minus the correct cabling https://i.imgur.com/hl8jzLT.jpg unit before i "fixed it" 1 board hashing, 1 doing nothing. http://imgur.com/qBtHCUD both boards hashing http://imgur.com/iWKdqxL all the guts hanging out, 1 board hashing, 1 sitting. i had a blown board from the 1 board hashing at time issue witht he USB configuration, and with ZERO documentation, and default of 1V on windows hexminer software, the power supply chip on one of the boards blew. It was PROMPTLY replaced, within 1 week. i was impressed with the turn around time on the board replacement. i've been mining Unobtanium, Betacoin and 21coin, since mining BTC directly wouldnt get me squat. so far i calculate it has returned maybe $300 of the $1500 i spent on it, and that was due to a lucky spike in UNO. if you have any questions, PM me. i'm a real dude, with a real miner. i have more pics somewhere. lol Have you try to oveclock the boards ? Be careful, since molex connectors tent to melt, since they are not intended to endure high currents. That's what Phoenix conenctors are intended for, but not used in bulgarian board seen here (at least this version). But it at least works nominally, but for how long ? Do you know how much current Technobit bitfury board is using overclocked? I guess not. But you can get 5Amps max. All my molexes to Bitfury boards are hand made 1.5mm cooper wire + pins soldered |

I'm attempting to hunt down their vendors in order to see if they are even attempting to make production happen.
Now I don't know if they are also assembling them "in house" or if they are getting a more capable entity to do that for them. That's what I'm wondering.
It does them squat to have components and not ship, as that is a big investment of their money. At least considering that by the time I ordered they had chips in hand based on the GPS evidence.
I'm just waiting to see what comes of it all. If I get a product in the time frame I ordered it for great but I have 1 month plus a few days in that time frame. I'll be keeping an eye here to see if anyone receives tracking numbers before I head in and check it out my self.
If I can get a bead in on any other vendors they might be using for production I'll be making similar calls.

Just a small amount of MELTED duct tape (BRAINLESS ACTION) makes a difference between rock stable product and a shit in your hands. Hi, I've just flashed a MR3020 with the new 0.2.0 firmware, waiting for my HEX8A1 coming in the next couple of days (hopefully...  ) And I was wondering if there's a solution to easily recompile cgminer with --enable-bflsc since I still have an old BFL Single running. These device does not have a lot of free space and I'm not sure that cloning the whole cgminer repo. @marto: Could you add an how-to or at least explain how you achieve the compilation on the router ? All other devices will not work because they have disabled some of the USB code that stock cgminer uses. You can build two versions of cgminer and run both of course. There is not how-to for the moment but a good start for you will be to look at hiangfu avalon repo. There are a bunch of scripts there. You can read official openwrt how to also Good luck |

Anyone know what its this? This appears 1-2x pro week. Alfter this, i have to pull out the first USB hub from the RPI (model A). The simple reboot of the RPI did not help. I have soon 3 usb hub tested, and all have this problem.
It may occur that the RPI has anything hardware problem? example polyfuse?
i have 6x hex16 1x hex8a1.

A fast question, there is any solution for that the hex16a2 mini USB power dont give backward 5volt ? When i cut the usb cable red and black cables, then the board dont work.

Wierd, when I taped out the outer pins on my troublesome Hex16B board's cable, it worked fine. (also work on Hex8A1, but it was something else that was the problem, needed a fan on the 5v PSU line, to help regulate the PSU.) Are you sure you didn't damage the data cables? If you are, try adding back the ground. If that don't work you could try +5v and ground powered from a 5v PSU line (Red/Black), with more Amps in the PSU it shouldn't flow back, and PSU is designed to handle bad loads if it did. Hy! I dont have 5 volt on the PSU. At the first moment was worked. And then when i restarted the PSU the board Led don't Light up and the Rpi dont see the board. When i plug the red/black back then works fine. The fan worked fine on all two try. Raspberry Pi is crap has a history of USB/Power issues. If you use a TP-Link TL-3020 as your mining PC it won't care if the USB leaks power or not. That's another way I found to handle a leaking miner, stick it directly on it's own TP-Link TL-3020. +1 Or if you are paranoid just strip USB cable gently and cut red wire + 5v and leave the ground |

It basically says that have stolen a small quantity of chipsfrom the bitmine factory in china. They plan to make 47 miners and want to mine with them first and sell them and deliver them late. They say they are creating fake companies here in this forum to try and pre-sell them. The go on to mention they need time and money to try and make the miners work. They want to stop AMT and Bitmine from selling and they claim to be paying 15 bitcoins a week to write bad things about these two companies. They go on to try and coax me into working with them because they I am Chinese and its my duty.
So, they plan to make 47 miners that they might be able to charge a total of 400BTC for. Yet they're willing to pay you 15BTC/week to slag Antminer/Bitmain, which will have almost no effect of the amount of hardware they deliver, even less effect on the amount that is added to the whole network, and no effect on the price they'll be able to command for their miners? Yeah, that's believable. Agree.. not believable on the pay-to-slander part. AMT and Bitmine are already doing a great job destroying their own reputations.
