So you are qualified to do one job that you did for decade or more and then you will switch to other job like that? Yeah bi of training if needed, like that job doesn't have people who are doing that for decades? Technology is one thing and it has a wide range not just robotics...

Remember about those clerks and accountants who initially lost their jobs when the computer arrived. They just underwent basic computer training (2 weeks / 4 weeks) and re-entered their jobs with increased salary. The way we work changes, as technology evolves.

In the willy wonka movie the remake, same thing with the father he lost his job, then he got training to fix machines and then got his old job back, was less more labor for him to fix then to produce, but even if one person gets there job back doesnt mean everyone will.  Still they are making these machines so they can save money in labor.

That's exactly what's going on, teachers want children to memorise answers, I won't use the word 'fact' because that means that the answers people give would have to be correct, so you're having whole generations growing up not knowing basic English and Maths because everybody is so focused on these ridiculous tests. If you think I'm bad, the next generation isn't going to know the multiplication table or know how to do basic grammar soon enough and they'll leave school under false pretences and wonder why they can't even get a starting job at a food chain despite getting A's in everything because the teachers will have lied to them about their future prospects.

I dont know if you ever had watched good times show, but thats what happen to AJ, they passed him just to get to graduate, nor to care if he learned anything in those years of his education. so this coming from a show in the early 80's show saying we had this problem for a very long time.

Please don't hate me.

Insurance companies are not dumb.

The life insurance usually is to cover the mortgage or working income.

So its great if they purchased it when they were younger 30-50.

But if they are 80 and ask for life insurance... they will not get very far I promise you that.

Also again its the elderly person we are talking. Not their spouse or their children.

What if they have no children and no wife/husband ?

Its sad but it happens alot.

Kr,

Well im talking about getting insurance when they are in there 40s and 50s, this is the secret of how people make money on there parents I know this jewish lady who did that on her father cause we all know men usually are the first ones to go.

In regards to life insurance: I'm not sure if you're just ignorant or trolling, but either way, I will educate you.
Insurance companies are for-profit businesses with a single goal...to make money for themselves and their shareholders. Some of the highest paid employees of any insurance company are the actuaries. They come out with actuarial tables giving the life expectancy for any particular person with any particular medical history (they are not legally able to make actuarial tables based on race or ethnicity). Insurance companies have access to the Medical Information Bureau and National Prescription database so that a consumer that "forgets" about something on their application, could be properly vetted. Insurance companies are also able to require an applicant to complete paramed exam up to a full physical as a condition of getting the coverage.
Everything is priced in when an insurance company makes a premium offer to the consumer. The insurance companies will make (roughly) the same profits off of a 30 year old, non-smoking, female as they would off of a 70 year old male smoker.
There is no such thing as pulling a fast one over on the insurance company (obviously I'm speaking in general, there will always be the occasional outlier).

ok so I did a quote just to show you that you dont know what your really talking, met life quote, Ill over ball it for you
so say my mom is 55 which is true, smoker yes, health is good.  20 year plan.  Knowing my family history we die very young, so this is a gamble.  Here we go ill over ball the quote to 150 Usd a month that Ill have to pay for her, for 100,000 return if she dies before the 20 years is up.  again a gamble.  so ill have to pay 36,000 USD over the course of those years.  How are they making any money from that?

P.S dont call me a troll when you are also in a sig campaign

One can only hope that crypto thrift grows and thrives unlike bitmit!

problem with cryptothrift they dont do much in marketing and getting themselves out there, they need someone and something that can make them different.

1187  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volatility actually GOOD for business! (with proof) on: May 07, 2014, 08:52:00 PM
This sounds great in theory, but it only works for businesses with enough cash on hand that they can pick and choose when to cash out their bitcoins.  There a lot of businesses that this approach wouldn't work for: coffee shops, for example, probably operate on fairly thin margins.  Maybe corporate chains aren't as bad if they're partially supported by the parent company, but that's not guaranteed to be how it works.

If you're in a business with a fairly tight profit margin and you need to make payroll in a few days or a week, you may be forced to sell off bitcoins at a loss.  A prime example of this would be the last few weeks of December last year: the price of bitcoins dropped from the high in the thousands down several hundred dollars in a matter of weeks.  No business that really wants to stay in business wants to take the chance that they will suddenly have half as much money as they previously had.

Even now in 2014, your post is invalidated by the fact that the price of bitcoins continues to drop.  It was around $600 a couple months ago, maybe more.  Now it's $438.20, according to Bitstamp.  The volatility of bitcoins is good for only two groups of bitcoin users: investors willing to buy and hold for a long period of time, and day traders.  Day traders can profit off volatility regardless of which direction the price goes, so the volatility is great for them.  As for the investors - well, if you bought bitcoins say, in January of last year, you're still way better off despite the lower price since the beginning of the year since it was around $13 back then.

if they have good credit then can get advance cash through a merchant program, I heard they give you cash in trade for your transactions but who knows by doing that it can really cut into the profits.

That's called factoring where you get advanced on POs.  But the buyer (PO issuer) needs good credit ratings

yeah I couldnt quite rememeber whats its called but I thought it could help the situation, but like you said it depends on credit rating.  Plus they make money over The Pos charging a fee on each sale you make
1188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easiest way to buy bitcoins with credit card. on: May 07, 2014, 08:49:00 PM

I honestly don't see the American people supporting this type of action and there will be major political blow back if you ask me.
I also don't see America doing the first step to a future WW3.The leading governments, the UN Council, and back-benching political and editorial institutions (including the media), would of course know that a single nuclear bomb or any large-scale military or aerial strike would lead the world very quickly into certain and complete annihilation.

yeah I concur with this, in fact who knows what new technology can be used in WW3 that probably could be far more worse then a nuke, im sure there are new weapons out that both parties were saving
1190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America Should Open its Borders? on: May 07, 2014, 08:39:27 PM
Federal government can do what it wants, but I admire sanctuary cities. I don't admire organizations looking to set up those seeking to come for welfare, but for those looking to work so much that they illegally hop the border at risk to their person and have to work under the table, I have nothing but respect for. Anyone looking to break a law with noble intent, I consider a hero, and it's a great world where we come together to help them "launder money" to their families.
They always said the true americans are the ones who taken the ships acrooss the seas, got sick from doing it and came from across the ocean, those were the true americans, of course 1st is the native americans.

About USSR: Many people dream of the revival of the USSR. (Those who lived there, and did not read the Western propaganda.)  Wink

Kinda reminds me on new york city, getting fined for cursing in public.  I guess he doesnt want russia to turn out like new york,  I thought Cursing and having balls in Russia was part of there culture, to be the macho man.
Russia is manlier than NYC. In Russia, cursing at people is for old women. In Russia, when you want to make a point, you use your Kalashnikov.

what about drinking vodka and wrestling with bears?
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin was backed by Gold, how would it change its adoption? on: May 07, 2014, 08:28:16 PM
I have heard a lot about gold backed assets and currency. For me there is only one gold backed store of wealth, gold. If you don't actually receive gold that you can hold in your hand, then you have nothing. I mean if there were a gold backed coin then I would rather have the gold than a promise of gold.
true, there was site that use to this, ahh  yes E gold, wasnt that same what was egold doing saying ur money is backed with gold
1193  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is dying...permanently on: May 07, 2014, 08:26:25 PM
That is true my friends. Bitcoin is dying. As we are all dying little by little. But bitcoin will be alive at least for next 50 years. And that is all I need. Smiley

50 years?  so then paypal should have been dead by now, bitcoin wont die anytime soon who knows in the next 3o years what technology it could be integrated with.
1194  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anyone else tired of hearing bad Bitcoin news ?! on: May 07, 2014, 05:57:03 PM
Did you know that Mt Gox lost all its customers bitcoins?

Also, Bitcoin is illegal in China now.

I also heard that it was a massive bubble and ponzi scheme and that stupid investors lost millions of dollars when it dropped in value by 99.9% recently.

ok please point me where you said bitcoin is illegal in china, but chinese are still buying bitcoins.  I know one chinese guy who is involved with bitcoin

1196  Economy / Economics / Re: How much control does the President truly have over the economy? on: May 07, 2014, 05:42:10 PM
Well if we say Obama has control over the economy, we have to acknowledge that the US economy is controlled by minorities under 29, who make less than 50k a year, since they placed Obama into power through their overwhelming support of Obama Shocked     .

so if they put him there, your saying he had only minority votes is kinda being naive dont you think, There were educated who put him there and middle class that made over 50k a year.  Celeberity support also they surely dont make underneath 50k a  year

I don't care if some jerk off celebrity voted for him.  The point is he was elected basically from Hispanic votes in swing states.  His support stems primarily from "minorities" that make less than 50k (because if I say black and hispanic; people will have a shit fit.)  He also dominated the population of voters under age 29.

The point was just to comment that if you think the president controls the economy., then these are the people that control the economy.  I don't believe that, but than again maybe that's part of why the US is in the predicament it is in.

Listen just because the american people put him there doesnt mean that people voted for him had anything to do with his failures and it goes for all the presidents before him.  The ones who put the strings is the ones he owes favors for.
1197  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America Should Open its Borders? on: May 07, 2014, 05:37:23 PM
Do you own a key to have access to where you live? Why is that? Do you need a password to have access to your email? Why is that?

Classic. One thing I have noticed recently. The people who are the most vocal about opening the borders of the US, most of them are firmly against opening the borders of their own nations. For example, the previous Mexican president Vicente Fox Quesada. Honduran and Salvadorean immigrants claim that it was during Fox's regime that the brutality against them increased the most.

It doesnt really matter who opens there borders your just opening pandora box allowing to much freedom of entry of people who you really dont all know.  Then this will also open a world for new diseases to be contracted far much easier also

Will Satoshi visit us soon?
We could have a great time and see if he has any advice.

We know he is alive, do you think he will show up here again?

For him to appear will not only endganger him but the rest of his family, Im sure there are many reasons that he should be left alone, as humans we all should understand his or hers right to privacy, and how do you know he is not a she?
1199  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Woman Celebrates Her “Cool” Abortion on YouTube on: May 07, 2014, 05:26:22 PM
I am not going to judge any woman that chooses to do this. I do strongly judge women that celebrate the misfortune of ending a life. Sick.

yeah to celebrate this is actually gross and is human trash that can do something like this.  How can this be celebrated, hopefully she gets embarrassed if this is viral.

The big picture here is to make it not rare and change people's attitude about the word "abortion". There is a need to not make it taboo or have any type of negativeness. For that it needs to be celebrated as a very basic, common, mundane thing to do.

Im sorry like I said before getting rid of gift of live is something that shouldnt be celebrated, Im sure in gods eyes its still murder.   No matter how the child got here it was there destiny who knows if that child could have played an important role in our future.
1200  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America Should Open its Borders? on: May 07, 2014, 04:53:48 PM
all borders should be removed regardless which country

They cant do that cause then the govs will feel like they dont have control of traffic inflow of immigrants.  Plus then there will be more crime if that was to happen.  Imagine how happy Al qeda will be to plant themselves all over the world
