Vod, after this thread nobody will believe anything you say again, and by continuing to lie I don’t think you realize just how much you’re making yourself look like a fool. I’m honestly embarrassed for you. I know pre-teens that carry themselves with more respect. A man without his word, is hardly considered a man at all.

Yup, the coin earns free BTC just for holding it! Totally awesome!  Cool

11804  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: VanitySearch (Yet another address prefix finder) on: May 01, 2019, 06:59:50 PM
Wildcard search is between 4 and 5 times slower than classic search for known prefixes. I reach ~40MK/s with my 1050 Ti and ~4MK/s with my i7-4770.
It is due to the fact that I have to compute full address each time and it requires 2 SHA for the checksum and a base58 encoding. For the CPU release, I implemented SSE checksum and I will try to implement SSE Base58 encoding using Barret's reduction (for computing div and mod 58).
Thank you very very much! I am really looking forward to a new commit.

Has anyone put together (or started to put together) a list of CPUs / Video Cards & the speed you can get out of them.
Anything else?
GPU: GPU #0 GeForce GTX 750 (4x128 cores) Grid(32x128)
104.960 MK/s (GPU 94.405 MK/s) (2^32.12)

GPU: GPU #0 GeForce RTX 2070 (36x64 cores) Grid(288x128)
1535.880 MK/s (GPU 1470.257 MK/s)
Oh my take my money I want buy that now

1) added
2) Amazon. The source of all things: https://amzn.to/2Li0UsI

-Dave

I underclock my cards so I'm not sure I should post the speeds, but I can say that the 2070 outperforms the 1080ti and even the liquid cooled model by a little bit, and uses significantly less power while doing so.  The 2070 is a great buy for this purpose in my opinion.

I think the current lack of a windows wallet with GUI is a bit of a hinderance for many users that could be considered a weakness.
Maybe, the GUI wallet for Windows will be released at the first anniversary of Grin coin. Theymos did (or did not) likely predict Grin coin destination for its first anniversary. Who knows, if Grin coin can be able to survive till its one year anniversary, and expected Windows GUI wallet released on that day. I think these two things deserve our time to wait for them. They might not happen at the same time, on one year anniversary, and Windows GUI wallet might be released sooner.
Since the inflation rate is so high in the first ~year, I think it will probably go even lower, probably under $1, and I'd expect the price chart of the first year to be a general downward trend.

Aren't there at least 3 GUI wallets now? Idk about Windows. I don't follow it closely as it doesn't affect me.

Depending on who you're willing to trust, I imagine there are many out there...  If you're speaking about their core team (not sure what to call them) and windows, the next official release is expected to support Windows.

Maybe Theymos should add a time lock on the unignore button? Grin

Won't happen.  When theymos gave OG one last chance to clean up his act regarding Lauda, he also said we could argue all we want.  OG took that to heart.

I'm not arguing with you.  I proved you were a liar and trust abuser.  That was the end of the argument for me.  You're now taking it a step further to show that besides being obsessed with your trust rating, you're incredibly insecure about it.

I don't think spreading lies about me to combat the truth I posted about you has the effect you think it does.  You're bringing more eyes to your lies and juvenile behavior.  I respond because I've learned not to stop people when they start digging themselves holes.  I could post the PM exchange I had with theymos to prove you wrong with your latest accusations I was forced to do anything with my trust ratings, but somehow watching you spread lies without knowing the truth yourself is more amusing and likely more effective means of displaying your behavior to those in the know. Wink

FOR THE RECORD, OG SUGGESTED I SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN HIS INCOME TAX SCAM IN EXCHANGE FOR ADVERTISING ON BPIP.

You have severe mental problems Vod.  Everyone already knows you're a liar and full of shit.  What's the point of continuing to embarrass yourself?

So you are saying everyone here is a coward?  I have 0 negative ratings - you have 5.  "Everyone" must mean you and your dog.  Smiley

I think people understand you now after your lie about Theymos.  What's the point of staying in a forum where no one trusts you?

You have a weird obsession with your trust ratings. I didn’t realize how insecure you were until this ordeal. Your lies are one thing, but everyone knew you were a liar already. The level of insecurity is shocking.
11808  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: May 01, 2019, 08:41:56 AM
Nope standard S17 56th unit, it appears bitmains auto-tune function is broken because my my first 2 hashboards are avg 18000gh each and board #3 is averaging 12000gh and I only have Normal and Low Power, no turbo.

Isn’t that how it’s supposed to be? I thought only the pro model had 3 settings. There is also a high amount of variance listed in the specs.

11810  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS GIVES NEW MANDATE TO DT MEMBERS - will they take heed?????????????????? on: April 30, 2019, 03:24:21 PM
Here we observe the merit source TMAN ( a great selection, if you want to guarantee the metric is super misleading) using merit to reward an observable double standards untrustworthy account seller when he accuses the whistle blower of being negative for mentioning it. Sorry guys. The merit abuse and politics that it enforces are crystal clear.  I mean the dumb fool notildah can not even correctly present the "joke"

Everything TMAN does is with the mentality of a scolded child.  He shouldn't be in DT or a Merit Source.  I'm sure time will resolve this.
11811  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod is a liar who abuses the trust network to cover his lies. on: April 30, 2019, 02:12:53 PM
Interesting enough, once I did put it on a .com, OG wanted free (nastymining shares) advertising for his scam.  :/

This moron is still spreading lies...  Usually, once someone has proved you're a liar, you stop lying.  Vod on the other hand is a special sort of stupid.
11812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 30, 2019, 06:33:55 AM
I remember the first years of bitcoin's life. There were so many things to do and learn: mining, faucets, wallets, blockchain visualizations, etc.

Nowadays the bitcoin world is pretty boring: mining is for people with deep pockets, faucets don't exist anymore, wallets are getting centralized by big corporations (blockchain.com, coinbase, etc.).

Is there anything fun left to do with bitcoin, any specific application, website, app, anything that will make bitcoin fun and interesting again? Otherwise I just keep on holding and that's it.

NastyFans is one of those early things from yesteryear you speak of. We’ve failed to build something to regularly engage users but we’re always looking to improve and maybe the lightning network will open up some possibilities.

These people can`t even hodl their pants up.   Grin

That was funny. Joking aside, his timing seems pretty good here.

The #1 reason should be that you get to be a part of something awesome!
11815  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod is a liar who abuses the trust network to cover his lies. on: April 30, 2019, 01:33:27 AM
I just want his abuse to end.

I just wanted your lies to stop. Now everybody knows what you are.

Really... It looks like you caught Hellot posting unfavorable comments about you, the most common offence for which you dole out red trust.

Then maybe you need to do some research.  When it comes to me, you seem to side with the blatant scammers every single time.

I did some research and I don't see any proof that Hellot tried to scam you. Perhaps you need to revise your feedback and/or provide a better reference if that's the case. Otherwise it fits the disturbing pattern of your thin-skinned ratings in personal squabbles...

... and your holier-than-thou attitude towards anybody who doesn't worship you.

OK, do better research.  LOL.  You keep insulting me and claiming I have thin skin.  I'm not sure that means what you think it means.  It's almost like you have an ulterior motive that keeps you from even engaging in any meaningful conversation.  You are obsessed with pushing forward a false narrative at any cost.  I hope someday you grow past this and can learn to want to see this community and those that support it honestly thrive.
11817  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Do we need / does anybody want a single moderated announcement thread? on: April 29, 2019, 08:47:40 PM
I could see this as being pretty helpful. Below is my "master list" I keep updated with all collectible websites (Live & No Longer In Use).  I could add a "Current Btalk [ANN] Sales" section at the top perhaps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124662.msg50317188#msg50317188

Very cool.  I didn't know this existed.  Maybe this is the thread that should be stickied, if one is to be?  Any chance you could add who makes which products?  I'm laughably ignorant when it comes to who makes what and seem to offend users when I ask them if they make a product.  I've actually made enemies just for asking that question, seriously.
11818  Other / Meta / Re: Tracking the Trust System's Stupid Shit on: April 29, 2019, 08:41:47 PM
My apologies.  You are right, I mistyped.  I meant Hellot, who I caught trying to scam my escrow service: http://loyce.club/trust/2019-04-27_Sat_21.41h/351430.html

Really... It looks like you caught Hellot posting unfavorable comments about you, the most common offence for which you dole out red trust.

Then maybe you need to do some research.  When it comes to me, you seem to side with the blatant scammers every single time.  This is why I don't trust your opinion.  You very obviously have an ulterior motive, and you really should get over it.  It isn't helpful.  I get that your only claim to being involved with Bitcoin is what you post here, so you constantly insert yourself in things that have nothing to do with you and that you have no knowledge of, but seriously, it's getting really old.  Do something productive for Bitcoin and stop harassing those that do.
11819  Other / Meta / Re: Tracking the Trust System's Stupid Shit on: April 29, 2019, 08:21:21 PM
Brilliant, i'm so happy for you...

ill stick you back on ignore and crack on with my day. I have asked you to leave me alone and will just add a "OgNasty is not allowed to post" as a local rule in any threads I start.

Thanks.  I'm a pretty happy guy but the more the merrier!

You ignoring me?  LOL.  I don't intend to stop fighting against abuse on this forum, so I suspect I'll be occupying space in your head for a long time to come.
11820  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: April 29, 2019, 08:07:58 PM
Reactions like this are why I make cool products.  Thanks owlcatz, for loving my products so much.  I'm so glad I could bring joy to your life.

Careful Og, wouldn't want that ego to pop.

Which part displays an ego?  That I make products to make others happy, that I was happy to bring joy to others, or that I thanked someone for loving my products?  Just curious.
