11801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of negative difficulty change on BTC price on: November 27, 2014, 04:50:42 PM
Looking at the difficulty estimate from https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty at the time of this post, there's a possibility that there will be a negative difficulty change. Small one, and there are still ~6.4 days to go, but what type of impact would this have on BTC prices?

Estimated Next Difficulty:   39,581,348,249 (-1.78%)
Adjust time:   After 905 Blocks, About 6.4 days

Price at Bitfinex = 368.5 USD

Any guesses?

finally happening - difficulty going down!  I see minimal impact.  I seems support at low 300's is incredibly strong - still remember the famous 30K ask wall at stamp got gobbled up.  Without the auction, I say prices is stabilizing.  But the auction may set a new ceiling to the price - which maybe lower than where it's trading.

People can't enjoy a lower difficulty for more than two weeks as more miners will just put their machines back to work.

But it's a welcome drop, for once people don't see their rewards drop  Smiley
11802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be Satoshi back in 2002 on: November 27, 2014, 02:22:22 PM
People think to see Satoshi everywhere, tomorrow it's in a zoo forum, next day it's in a bike forum, etc.

There were more people who had the intention to think of a new sort way of paying.

Satoshi's Bitcoin is the first new and decentral digital currency that is really in use now.
11803  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E problem ... BTC-E Scam ????? on: November 27, 2014, 01:41:14 PM
i lost last summer accidently 1.5btc from those clowns... i asked them how to enable 2fa "if there is a windows based application" as i dont own an android device and the answer was in order to enable 2fa download the app from google store...... english is not my native language but somehow i can handle  communication with foreigners. btc-e sucks!!!!

How did you lose 1.5XBT ? Is your account hacked or what?

The guys behind BTC-E are not the kind to run away with funds. They are not going to risk their exchange for a few XBT.

But I do agree that their support service is horrible, it takes way too long to get a reply.

This weekend it's Southampton - Manchester City, moment of truth for Southampton.

They can now show that they deserve to have nr 2 spot. Very interesting match.
11805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Will Benefit From Digital Currency? on: November 27, 2014, 12:19:53 PM
I think the whole world will benefit from this new technology.

Who doesn't want a bank in his own pocket, you're boss over your own money. No one can tell you where or how to spend it.
11806  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Domain] Btc-Purchase.com on: November 27, 2014, 12:13:42 PM
Black Friday offer.

First person that offers 0.03XBT will buy it directly.

Don't bother to offer less than that.
11807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Use Your Bitcoin? Start Here>> on: November 26, 2014, 10:24:11 PM
As far as I know Amazon.com doesn't support Bitcoin payments.

More and more webshops accept Bitcoin yes, just a matter of time till the larger known companies will follow.

Very interesting day for Liverpool, they must win today, and Real Madrid can help them by beating Basel.

Liverpool can save their shitty season by qualifying for Champions League.

They are not going through unless Rodgers learns. Either he has gone blind, or he is too afraid to drop the likes of Gerrard, Skrtel and Johnson.

Great performance by Aguero yesterday. I thought City's campaign was over but theres a new twist now.

The players Liverpool have bought don't add anything to the team. Gerard should go to New York City FC to fill his pockets.

They can't even beat Ludogorets..... Says enough.

I'm sure that isn't the only thing they are manipulating for many years.

But hey, what isn't manipulated in today's economy  Undecided

Instead of fighting against a new technology these companies should embrace it.

But hey, I can see why they don't like that image  Cheesy
11816  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Appraise a domain on: November 26, 2014, 04:22:23 PM
p2p.auction

How much do you think it's worth?
How much are you willing to pay for that job, if i am to appraise your website to know it value, you simply PM me, please take note this is not free.

LOL? Cheesy He's just asking to appraise a simple domain.....

From what I know .auction is still not open for wide public, but if I had to make a fair guess it would be $50-$100
11817  Other / Meta / Re: 360Seconds wait time to post again? on: November 26, 2014, 01:50:12 AM
WTF is this wait time shit, its annoying as fuck

This gave me a laugh.  Cheesy

I had exactly the same reaction back in the days when I was a newby.

360 seconds isn't that bad, use that time to read threads etc.

The best moments are when people panic due to a crash or rally.

I open BTC-E trollbox, and while enjoying a beer I'm laughing at fools going nuts in the trollbox.
11820  Other / Off-topic / Re: General Football Discussion on: November 26, 2014, 12:57:26 AM
Let's see if Manchester City is able to give Bayern a difficult match.

They really need 3 points, and nothing less than that. Otherwise it's bye bye Champions League.

That was quite a nice match mate!

Yeah a good one, they had also luck with AS Roma, they couldn't win in Russia.

But again, the quality difference was huge, even with 10 players Bayern could have won that game. Aguero was the big man on City side.
