11821  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: + trust Sr Member Account For sale on: March 20, 2015, 05:15:30 PM
Out of curiosity how much do you want for it? Can you confirm that it has no outstanding loans and that it does not have any negative trust at all?
11822  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Senior with Avatars on: March 20, 2015, 04:34:40 PM
signed message is not available for any of these except the last but devthedev is vouching for it to be good ! So buy without Risk.

How does devthedev know the accounts are legit? Did you buy them from him directly? If you only used him as escrow for when you purchased the accounts, but did not procure a signed message then there is a risk both that the accounts are hacked and that there will later be a claim that the accounts are hacked.

This is especially true considering that you have no issue with openly selling illegally obtained gift cards

So if someone will clam that his account was hacked, the responsibility will be of devthedev not of chronic sky. Beware guys....
How would devthedev be responsible if the account was hacked? He was only acting as escrow, it is not his problem if the buyer (sky) doesn't request a signed message as a stipulation to have the deal go through

If the seller doesn't own any signed message than the beware is for the possible buyers not for the escrow. As usually the fault is of the seller and devthedev should not help him.

Why is it my fault ?
Isn't the Escrow supposed to confirm before releasing funds?
The seller has said to provide the Signed message but he did not in his first message so i messaged him again but devthedev had already Released the Escrow.
They are clean and good!
I take full responsibility and you will be Refunded , if they turn out bad!
Stop Pissing me off for no Freaking Reasons.

Was this part of the original escrow agreement that was agreed to by everyone prior to you funding escrow? If not then that is not his fault

The Escrow terms were to deliver me the account credentials and after i confirm , he will release the Escrow but later changed that account Credentials will be sent to devthdev , he took a day to deliver the accounts(it's alright seeing he is quite busy) but then when i didn't received the signed message along with them (the seller has said in OP that he can provide a signed message) , the Escrow was release without even concerning me if the accounts are as stated .

What thread did you buy from? It is not the escrow's responsibility to check the terms of the thread you are buying from anyway. If the terms were that you would confirm the account credentials or the credentials would be sent to devthedev and then forwarded to you, no where does it say that you need a signed message along with the credentials, therefore he would have no reason to require one prior to releasing escrow

Also if you purchased them from a farmer then he most likely will have additional accounts for sale and there is no reason why you cannot contact him to get a signed message after the fact, and if he does have additional accounts then he should have no problem doing so if he wants repeat business

I am exiting the account sales business. There really is not a conflict of interest - I am just looking out for the potential buyers of your accounts
11825  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: doing BTC-E code to Perfectmoney [ 0% fees ] on: March 20, 2015, 04:19:40 PM

You are free to use a escrow , exchange is done instantly [within 15 minutes ]

If you do not use escrow then you are all but certain to get scammed, even for a small amount. There are multiple scam accusations against this person, including one for ~$10

already on the verge to pay the guy brother Smiley , will pay him max by tomorrow Smiley you will see Wink
You had the money to pay them both over a week ago but you refused to do so then, why should I believe that you will repay your victims now?

Hello can you provided an escrow for my loan request and hold my account as collateral ? And the lender irfan

Yes please Do it, We want you as an escrow here.
Just so you know, it is usually best to have any collateral for a loan secured prior to funding the loan, not after.
11830  Economy / Services / Re: [READY HERE] Escrow Service! FREE/TIPS on: March 20, 2015, 12:48:57 PM
sorry everyone if I'm wrong, because I want to be a trusted here
In order to gain trust then you will need to participate in a number of trades over time and to actively participate in the community. You will generally need to be trusted prior to being able to offer escrow services.
11831  Economy / Services / Re: Offering Free Escrow Service | Fast, Secure & Reliable! | *Multisig Cold Storage on: March 20, 2015, 12:39:43 PM
Why did two random newbies make random "reserved" posts in posts 3 and 4? Are they alts of yours?

Also I don't think people should care how exactly you store your customers' funds as if they are somehow lost then you should cover the losses with your own funds.
11832  Other / Meta / Re: Madness - Banned once again on: March 20, 2015, 12:24:49 PM
Well I think it would be somewhat implied that you would be banned from a campaign if you are denied payment, especially for that reason. This is further implied by the fact that marcotheminer has had a rhetoric of fighting spam.

The policy of allowing people to continue participating in the campaign after being banned is a policy that almost encourages spam.
11833  Other / Meta / Re: Madness - Banned once again on: March 20, 2015, 11:30:01 AM
When you get unbanned it will likely be your last chance. You were also breaking the rules of your signature campaign as people who are banned can't participate in the campaign.

You are right. You were only posting. You were not actually reading the content behind the thread nor were you actually participating in conversation

11835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] 11% of the JD bankroll. Huge opportunity! Hottest thing for sale for BTC! on: March 19, 2015, 11:46:15 PM
How much CLAIM exactly are you trying to sell? Your screenshot says that your total is just under 2.2 million CLAIM (which is worth ~12,100 BTC) counting both on site and off site. It also says that you have ~21,900 CLAIM  invested directly on the site (which is worth ~121 BTC). According to JD, there is ~426,000 CLAIM invested in the bankroll, 11% of which is ~46,800 CLAIM (which is worth ~257 BTC) - all values assume an exchange rate of .0055
11836  Other / Meta / Re: fedup with these forums update now on: March 19, 2015, 08:54:29 PM
The 45 second wait time between login attempts is not going to change and is the same for everyone. It is to prevent people from trying to brute force passwords.

The same thing can be accomplished with a 3 second delay per attempt and locking an account after 5 attempts, but whatever. I have a set of 5 passwords that I rotate on my log-ins and sometimes forget which I use on what site... so a 45 second delay per log-in attempt is ridiculous.
The longer the delay the more difficult it will be to brute force a password. It is especially important to make it a long time between attempts because people can likely get around the delay to an extent (via changing their IP address after each attempt - but they would have limited numbers of IP addresses).

It would also not be feasible to lock out accounts after 5 attempts as people do not need to have an associated email address nor secret question with their account.
11837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Imposter: BTCMinerMan - Leave negative feedback on: March 19, 2015, 07:41:41 PM
People are greedy and will likely fall victim to him when he offers a good deal on those gift cards. There have been countless Starbucks gift card sellers who are buying gift cards via stolen credit cards who eventually end up scamming and many people end up stupidly willing to send first despite having multiple negatives.

I am not sure why newbies can create self moderated threads however I imagine it has to do with the lack of newbie jail and the fact that the forum doesn't moderate scams. Newbies need to be able to lock threads for once they are done selling something (once what they were selling has sold).
11838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Imposter: BTCMinerMan - Leave negative feedback on: March 19, 2015, 07:30:02 PM
This is done however your negative trust should be sufficient (or were you removed from default trust when CITM was removed)

Edit: it looks like your negative trust still shows up by default.

I would like to know who chronsky purchased the account from so it can be established who exactly is selling these allegedly hacked accounts.

check PM
I don't see the reason you want to keep this secret. Especially considering the fact that you gave the person negative trust already.
