11861  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 🌟 TRADE Your Physical Cryptos HERE 🌟 on: March 19, 2015, 03:10:31 AM
Also, I'm looking to trade some coins...
I've got;
A roll of Lealana 0.1 BTC Brass coins (buyer funded holograms).
A couple of funded 1 LTC special edition CryptoVest coins.
CryptoImperator 10k DOGE (Limited edition No.10)
Cryptolator Merlin Gold Limited Edition No.3 MS-67 ANACS.

Got some more coins including Lealanas, Cryptolator and others.
If interested, please let me know Smiley

I've been looking for a nicely priced Lealana 5 LTC to pick up for a little while now, if you could do one for a decent price I'd be interested. I still need a 10 and 25 LTC as well, they're probably just not in my budget right now. I also have some coins for trade instead of or in addition to BTC.
I have a bunch of 2013 LEALANA 1 LTC Brass (nickel-plated) Coins, as well as a few 10 LTC 1/2 oz 999 Fine Silver Coins (batch 2), and a few 5 LTC 1/4 oz 999 Fine Silver Coins

All of my coins are lacking the 'buyer funded' hologram and none of them are redeemed. Pics/addresses/txid of funding tx (and signed message of the funding inputs) are available upon request

You can make me an offer if you like.

Thanks all. I'll file a complaint locally on harassment grounds and let the government legal system follow it up. I'm sure they'll purge private data quickly enough.

Doubtful. This has been threatened before and no action was taken. Private forum not a govt. owned forum. Good luck though.
If he lives in Europe, something similar to this is actually somewhat possible due to 'right to be forgotten' (e.g. anti-freedom of speech) laws. I am not sure if the forum specifically would be covered, however search engines would be forced to purge information related to his specific identity in certain circumstances.

Highly doubtful but I would love to see it tried.
It looks like it mainly applies to search engine results (e.g. google). From Right to be forgotten - Wikipedia
Quote
In Article 12 of the Directive 95/46/EC the EU gave a legal base to internet protection for individuals.[3]:233 In 2012 the European Commission disclosed a draft European Data Protection Regulation to supersede the directive, which includes specific protection in the right to be forgotten in Article 17.[19]

To exercise the Right to be Forgotten and request removal from a search engine, one must complete a form through the search engine’s website. Google’s removal request process requires the applicant to identify their country of residence, personal information, a list of the URL’s to be removed along with a short description of each one, and attachment of legal identification.[20] The applicant receives an email from Google confirming the request but the request must be assessed before it is approved for removal. If the request is approved, the link is removed from search results but the content, however, remains online and is not completely erased.
The content must contain personal information, so I don't think a forum handle would qualify, unless the handle contains the 'real name' of the person publishing the content.

I think it is very much not a good law/policy for the EU to implement.

According to various WSJ news reports over the past several months, google has only censored search results when people accessed google via EU based domains (like google.de), and when people searched for something that should have been censored via a non-EU based domain (like google.com) the results would still show up.

Ironically, several news outlets actually wrote news articles about previous news articles that were sometimes decades old that reflected unfavorably on EU citizens when they received notification that various search engines were removing search results about the sometimes decades old articles.

11864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy and sell large amounts of bitcoins through bank accounts? on: March 19, 2015, 02:32:07 AM
You generally should not do this unless you have a business bank account. It is almost certain that you will be conducting 'business' if you are trading large amounts of bitcoin and as a result it would not be appropriate to use a 'personal' bank account.

If you plan on using exchanges (and are not performing arbitrage) then you should simply keep funds on the exchange (although you should acknowledge that those funds are at risk that the exchange fails/gets hacked ect.

If you are planning on buying low from others and then selling high to other traders then you should try to use cash as much as possible (IMO) - but still follow AML, etc laws/regulations

Have a amazon.com account with 15$ in it could be a collateral
I have a account on btcjam with 0.06 btc on lent it could be a collateral
Does your btcjam account have the .06 BTC invested in other loans or is the balance available?
Invested 0.054 I have to recover 0.06478 BTC
So .06478 is what you expect to receive after everyone pays off their loan?
Yes, obviously
That is not obvious based on your above statement. It is also not what your account is worth as a dollar (or a bitcoin) received tomorrow is worth less then a dollar (or bitcoin) received today.
11866  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling bitcointalk.org accounts Update March 18 on: March 19, 2015, 02:28:31 AM
once inventory is exhausted this thread will most likely close. My senior accounts have officially sold out as of today.

You should probably remove "more coming soon" from the OP then.  Smiley
The OP is PGP signed, so I will remove that the next time I edit the OP. Although it is still possible that I will rank up an existing full member account so I could have another senior member averrable in the future

I have a S3 for sale here. My asking price is $95, which is below your offer of $100 for a S3+, although it does not have the "+"
11870  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1x S3 $95 + shipping label on: March 19, 2015, 01:29:47 AM
One other thing is that you may receive a fake payment address from someone pretending to be me or someone pretending to be an escrow. Please pay close attention to who is sending you a PM. I will not be held responsible for you sending to an address of a fake account.

I will PGP sign all payment addresses for you to send payment to me.

For reference, my UID is 358020
11871  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 1x S3 $95 + shipping label [sold] on: March 19, 2015, 01:28:59 AM
Alright, so I have decided that it is starting to get too hot where I live for me to want to continue to mine with my Bitmain Antminer S3 in my apartment for very much longer. As a result I have decided to sell it.

I would like $95 for it (I will accept offers in either BTC or $$$ however I only accept BTC as payment). The S3 is not available for sale on bitmaintech, however the S5 i available for pre-sale for $369 with shipping by March 30 (~2 weeks). My asking price is roughly in line with what other people on here are selling their S3's for.

I will accept reasonable offers.

I purchased the S3 from another person and I am unable to say which batch it is from (although if anyone knows how to tell which batch it is from based on something from it's configuration page then I might be able to update this).

According to the miner stats page, it is running at roughly 453 gh/s on average, and the 12 hour hash rate on eligius varied between 440 and 455 gh/s (I had switched to a new address prior to taking a screen shot of the eligius stats page).

It is currently hashing on eligius on the address: 1AmG6wLKevXRZ5fwXy34e49j3eKnFJBTMf and the status can be found here.

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I have not measured how loud it is, however I would say it make roughly the noise of what a bathroom fan makes.

The miner stats page on it's control panel for it is below:

Pictures of the miner next to today's paper are below:

As mentioned above I will accept offers in either BTC or USD however I am not in a desperate position to sell it.

I also have a EVGA SuperNOVA 1300G2 that I am willing to part with for $145 (however I am less flexible on this price as there is a good chance I will purchase miners in the future). It retails for $159.99 on Amazon.

You must provide a shipping label, this condition is non-neogeoiable unless you are willing to send first, as in no escrow. (It would be to your advantage to provide a shipping label - it is really not hard and I can provide some level of support in creating/sending one). It will be shipping from a zip code near 28262 (this should be close enough to get an accurate shipping cost)

Shipping to the US only.

Escrow is accepted (unless you are unwilling to provide a shipping label in which you will send first), and I will pay the fee if you pay my asking price, otherwise I will ask that you pay the 1% escrow fee (mandatory).

If you have little, no or negative trust and you are not on my trust list, or have not traded with me before, then an additional stipulation will be that you will either need to send BTC first or you will need to arrange escrow so that I send the miner to the escrow provider first and then the escrow provider will send the miner to your address. This would likely result in a higher escrow fee and/or additional shipping expenses that you will need to pay for.

Post here is you have any questions.

I am not on BTCjam - it is my understanding that there are more BTCjam scams then there are on bitcointalk. However the OP is is advertising his loan on here and is PM spamming my inbox to invest
11873  Other / Archival / Re: 25 BTC Loan - Mining Farm on: March 18, 2015, 11:16:10 PM
Can you sign a message from an old address associated with your account proving that your account was not hacked?

I am sorry but the description on your listing as to why you need this money is very vague, and you had provided dubious proof of mining revenue on the loan request. Plus you had not verified your income on BTCjam
No problem.

What address would you like me to sign? I signed the main receiving mining address (where all the money's coming to).

I don't know if I've ever publicly posted any addresses here on Bitcoin Talk that you could cross verify.

Find an old address that you have posted with this account or an address that you have sent via PM and sign a message with today's date on the message

11875  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: What's your offer for this hero account on: March 18, 2015, 10:45:13 PM
I would say that without some kind of proof of ownership or proof of ownership from the previous owner (if the account was purchased) then the account would likely be pretty much worthless. There has been a dramatic rise in the number of people who have been claiming their old accounts were hacked almost immediately after someone purchased their accounts. So without a signed message any buyer might as well assume that it will have negative trust almost immediately after it gets purchased
11876  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 🌟 TRADE Your Physical Cryptos HERE 🌟 on: March 18, 2015, 10:18:00 PM
Well to my knowledge I own the only Casascius 2013 Silver + Gold MS-68 coins. I have 3 x MS-68 from ANACS, and might consider selling just 1 depending on the offer. I really doubt we will see any more 68's at this point... so offers better be amazing or do not bother. Feel free to PM me if you are interested.

You have Cas coins at MS-68? When did you get them? I thought the only MS-68 Casascius coin was the one Cyclops sold.

Mike Caldwell sold casascius coins from 2011 up until 2013 (when he stopped selling funded coins). You need to send your coins to ANACS to get your coins graded, and whoever send them a coin that receives a high grade will obviously be able to sell if it they wish.

Seems like a possible scam to me...

- newbie account - 1st post
- no website
- no collateral
- 2% interest

Too good to be true and looks shady.
Doesn't really know how they could steal your money out of this so I may be wrong... But be careful guys...
Actually the OP is offering to make/provide loans. As a result all of your 'red flags' are incorrect.

The reasons why the OP is likely a scammer are below:
-Using a name that is clearly female
-Using a handle/username that would be a realistic First + Last name combination
-Asking to communicate via an off-forum method

I think the OP is likely trying to build up confidence for a longer term scam either with the account he is posting from or from an account that he will give loans to
11878  Other / Archival / Re: g on: March 18, 2015, 09:15:45 PM
how can i preview the account.
You cannot. You would need to look at the description in the OP, and any subsequent posts by the OP in this thread. That is the kind of account that you will get if you win the auction*

*it is highly recommended that you use escrow for this deal in order to guarantee that the account you are buying both exists and meets the description above
11879  Other / Meta / Re: Account UNIBTC hacked/stolen on: March 18, 2015, 09:12:51 PM
Nope i have not, and i dont intend to.

We will see what happens. I left both accounts a negative rating for now.
As did I. You really should take better care of your account however and not reuse passwords, especially when the potential for damage is so great.

If I see evidence of an account sale then I will remove my feedback however

edit: I don't see how unibtcwashacked could possibly be an imposter if he produced an (undated) signed message - this could easily be cleared up with a more specific, dated signed message
11880  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Salty's Spring Cleaning (Lots of stuff you want) on: March 18, 2015, 09:03:25 PM
I purchased the two gold coins from from the perth mint from Salty, and he shipped them the same day that escrow was funded (even though I made it clear that I was not in a rush to get them), and they arrived in very professional packaging.

If you are looking for a good deal on anything of the above that he is selling, this is the place to look.
