11861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Alt Will Be Poloniex's next Overnight Moonshot? on: July 12, 2016, 04:23:20 AM
That is really hard to say because price rises like Ethereum come only once in maybe 5 - 6 years. Ask again after 5 years and maybe someone can give you an answer. Grin
11862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FBI May soon open an investigation about ethereum intellectual property fraud on: July 12, 2016, 04:12:06 AM
After claiming he’d filed formal complaints with the FBI, the man who alleged that Ethereum is his stolen intellectual property says he is making his first attempt to contact the media about the theft.

Although Vitalik Buterin is the identified brain behind the Ethereum project which has gained notoriety especially for its smart contract feature, Jared Mimms claims that Buterin stole his idea.

http://cointelegraph.com/news/developer-claims-ethereum-is-stolen-intellectual-property-files-complaints-with-fbi

Who is this Jared Mimms? Is he a former partner of Vitalik who was left behind and is now coming after him? This might be a simple case of the situation like Facebook.
11863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: July 12, 2016, 04:00:09 AM
This is such awesome news, and to see real world adoption is a big deal, this will make NEM far more attractive in the coming months.  Smiley

Could you explain how this is good for XEM/NEM. (not being a D*%K, just asking)

And also...can anyone update on the mobile wallet app. hows that coming along?
Thanks in advance guys

To see this real world adoption with mijin proves the success of NEM technology and means that NEM has a big part to play in the crypto sphere.
I think they are in the final stages of developing the mobile wallet.

After Japan, what is NEM's next move? Will it find partnership's with companies in Europe next? I think that is a logical step because Asia and Europe are back doors to the USA.

Highly likely. The most recent news is outside Japan in Myanmar.  Smiley
NEM is starting to get more worldwide exposure, so expect to hear alot more in the coming weeks.

I see you are concentrating in Asia. Is the NEM team all from Asia?
11864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARDR][NO ICO] Ardor, or Nxt 2.0, a Scalable Child Chain Platform on: July 12, 2016, 03:58:26 AM
do i need to hold NXT on my wallet or it can be on Polo?
From what I understand Polo will be working with NXT to distribute the tokens to exchange holders..

So is it safe to assume that Ardor will be listed in Poloniex exchange? I hope it will be because Poloniex is the biggest altcoin exchange right now.
11865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRP] Global Settlement Network, LOW COST - BITLICENSE APPROVED on: July 12, 2016, 03:53:44 AM
I speculate XRP is getting ready for a massive price boom. It is already being accumulated judging from the average volume is slightly higher than usual. Please look at the chart to verify.
11866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 12, 2016, 03:47:31 AM
Nobody believed that ethereum would do x20 and here we go LISK.. I belive I can fly... ♪

We've gone from an ICO of around 18K satoshi to the current 52K satoshi so technically we just under X3.  BTC appreciation since ICO has been on our side so that pricewise, we are just under X5.

That said, I am looking for X20 and beyond.  It's just gonna take more than four months to get there.

I think Lisk must be more aggressive in going after big companies in testing the platform. Partnerships like R3 consortium have taken a look at Ethereum, but after the DAO hacking and some speculate a fundamental Ethereum flaw in its Solidity programming language, the consortium may be looking at other alternatives. And they are not the only one. The DAO hack and how Vitalik and his friends have handled it is messy. Ethereum might be seeing its last hours and Lisk must take advantage of this.

11868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage - Working Beta - Currency has been released on: July 12, 2016, 03:36:54 AM
Is the rise of Sia over? I think this was only a pumped because there was no huge good news after the price went up. Or maybe we still haven't seen the best part yet?
11869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: July 12, 2016, 03:34:09 AM
The price at poloniex is very lowwwwe

XEM is considered expensive. It was less than 100 satoshi in January but now it is more than 1.2k satoshi.
Be careful of this coin. It is very overvalued.
What on earth makes you say its overvalued? Please elaborate and explain your view?

Maybe he means overbought. And he does make a good point to be careful. It is psychologically hard for a person to buy NEM at the peak because of the fear of it falling fast. And people usually think in herds like sheep so what they think will happen tend to become true.
11870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 12, 2016, 03:31:12 AM
I have noticed that a lot of people are hating Waves? Why is this? I think it is better to give it a chance and to observe their development. Their team may not be the "who's who" in the cryptocurrency world but I think they want to create something that can help the world.

I also want to ask why Waves is not listed in Poloniex. I think it is big and worthy to be listed in the biggest altcoin exchange.
11871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: July 12, 2016, 03:22:07 AM
Is it safe to say that Ardor will be available on Poloniex for trading? NXT is there, so it is only logical the Ardor will be there also. Unless they have other plans.
11872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 11, 2016, 08:10:22 AM
Volume dropping on poloniex for eth.Is there any latest news causing this apart from DAO hacking incident?

Yes, I am looking for the latest news on the hacking incident also. There seems to be none. Would it be possible for the hacker to be talking and discussing terms with Vitalik?
11873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: July 11, 2016, 08:04:35 AM
The Nxt Foundation has become an affiliate member of the Linux Foundation.

Nxt has always been an advocate of Open Source software, as the licensing under the GPL v2 also shows.

We want to be in contact with people who are like minded and therefore have formed this partnership.

The Linux Foundation just formally announced our membership.   Smiley

http://www.linuxfoundation.org/news-media/announcements/2016/07/linux-foundation-welcomes-open-source-experts-security-cloud-and

Wow congratulations. What would this partnership entail? Will the NXT devs have access to the skills of the people who are developing the Hyper Ledger and vice versa? That would be nice to see. And very beneficial for both.

We're already part of Hyperledger. It just hasn't been added openly yet. Smiley

That's not to say we are collaborating on everything. We are part of the program, that's all.

That's very good. Good luck with everything on NXT and Ardor. I hope you put them on the map of crypto ahead of everyone else.
11874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 11, 2016, 07:55:42 AM
Are the investors and companies who were interested in Ethereum looking at Lisk now? I think it could be, but how can we be assured that something like the DAO hacking will not happen in Lisk?
11875  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: July 11, 2016, 07:49:13 AM
I would say no. But with all the terrorism happening I think it is they themsleves should find these terrorists to redeem themselves.
11876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The IoT failed too? on: July 11, 2016, 07:47:38 AM
Maybe IoT is not yet ready for us if we cannot secure this properly. I would hate to be locked in my car and it will drive at 100 miles per hour with the hacker at the other side of the world acting like he was playing Grand Theft Auto. No sir.
11877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: DAO Attacker Identified!! on: July 11, 2016, 07:33:05 AM
Is the hacker really Mircea Popescu? Is this already verified? Was it also him who wrote the letter that a hard fork will mean Ethereum Foundation is stealing his "transferred" ethers?
11878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Ethereum takeover Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2016, 07:28:29 AM
@BigSirko and @bbc.reporter

You're missing an important point: Chinese! It is the keyword for all cryptocurrencies especially ETH. Guess what? Dev2 will be held in China (early Autumn this year).

The Chinese will only invest in Ethereum if it is profitable for them. But it is not profitable right now because there is a hacker who can steal from the smart contracts because there is a flaw in Solidity. Maybe China will pump ETH but not stay long term.
11879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: July 11, 2016, 07:25:21 AM
hello, I would like to try my luck from gambling.

what kind of gambling that you think is easy to make a profit? and what strategies are you using?

If you want easy profit you should play bacarrat and bet everything at once. When you win it is an easy profit. But when you lose it is easy loss. But that is ok because you are looking for easy profit.

That is hardcore. No "be careful" or "it is risky though" Just saying it straight. Play this one time bet then when you win you go to a party and celebrate if you lose go kill yourself.  Grin

Yes because he asked what's the easiest to make profit. But the easiest is also the easiest to lose money. Grin
11880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: July 11, 2016, 06:11:56 AM
Many as in many bitcoin holders are not that rich to get a decent amount of lumens i agree its the worst ever giveaway by lumens/stellar clams are way better.

What is the difference with Stellar's giveaway and Clam's distribution plan? They are only the same right?
