11861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The HODL meme and its impact on Bitcoin on: February 16, 2019, 05:36:18 PM
Base from my personal experience it's very good. People blaming HODLing mentality for losing a lot and they don't think that it's very suitable from them. But I have my own experience and I'm going to lean on it, I may have lose some and win some but most of the time it has been more positive to me. I have my bad days with holding and also felt regret with it but definitely will never stop doing it. HODLING isn't also for everyone just like what we are saying about investing.
11862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TIPS TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CRYPTOCURRENCY TRADER on: February 16, 2019, 10:11:18 AM
do not be tempted to investing all your money in just one coin because it is currently doing well.
I think there's nothing wrong with this strategy if you are going to do this with bitcoin. It's a very good strategy to hold the king of all coins and you have invested most of your total crypto holdings on it. Yes, diversifying is a key to have a good portfolio but it's also proven that having bitcoin only type of portfolio has been effective. I'm also sure that I'm not the only that can prove that this happens most of the time, those early investors are the real life testimony that it really works.

How to make Bitcoin more approachable to common users
It's more approachable to common users by just explaining on how it's useful with different transactions. You don't need to verify any information just to be able to send it to anyone everywhere in the world.
And telling it to someone today, you don't have to be too firm about explaining the depths of it, why? it's already very popular and there's more people going for it.
11864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 15, 2019, 07:23:08 AM
Tomorrow is the Rising Stars Challenge, who do you think will win and why?

Team world vs Team US, team US are the favorite in all sports book.
I'm with the Team World, Luka Doncic and Ben Simmons fan boy. <3

For team USA, Lonzo Ball is currently injured.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, Luka Doncic and Ben Simmons will lead Team World.

But Team USA is pretty solid as well with Kyle Kuzma, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum and Trae Young so even without Lonzo Ball they can still win, so I go with Team USA here.  Grin
Doncic will show hell of a performance against the Team USA. But I'm still going with the Team World, both teams are solid.

But it's more exciting to take my bet with Team World.
11865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the *easiest* profitable betting strategy? on: February 15, 2019, 06:55:37 AM
I never liked the martingale technique, besides, most of the casinos consider it as cheating.
I haven't tried martingale, when I'm new to this forum it was the first time that I have read. And after reading more post and reactions about it, I don't think that it's suitable for everyone. Most of those opinions said that it's not really worth for someone who gambles and that's why I haven't tried it. To the new gamblers there, you shouldn't try it but if you insist, charge to experience but the most important part was already given and told that you shouldn't.

You should not try it, it's a bad strategy in gambling and you will only make yourself loss in the long run.
When I was still greedy in gambling, I used employ that technique but I never gave me a good return in the long run, in fact it only
made me loss way above my limit, because sometimes you loss your emotion and martingale is really a killer technique.
Yes I'm aware of it and I'm not going to try it. I'm listening to the suggestions that I've read here in the forum. I'm obedient enough not to try a strategy that has a lot of negative experience and opinions.
Thanks for sharing all of your experience about martingale, better don't add to the losing experience.
11866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: February 15, 2019, 06:22:01 AM
True that young people are mostly addictive to it since most of the time they are desperate and want to be rich within short time but despite this most of the old people too are addictive in gambling.
Desperate of becoming rich isn't only available and happening to the young ones, it doesn't have any limitation. But it's true that many young people are becoming addicted to gambling over time.
It seems to them that it's the easiest way to reach their fortune by just gambling alone and due to the attention that these young ones are getting from their parents, they have money to gamble with.

11868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: February 15, 2019, 05:27:47 AM
There is no valid reason to continue gambling after losing again & again.
You can't tell this to a gambler that lost a lot, he has a lot of reasons to gamble if he starts to recognize his losses. The crave for recovering it will continue and will be the reason for those gamblers to  have a valid reason to continue.

Gambling is too risky to handle & I think there is no reason to start it anytime rather If you have quiy gambling then We should congratulate you that you have done something very good.
It's too risky if you are very well oriented of the result but if you have been gambling for a long time and you managed to keep your emotions, we should also congratulate them.

11870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: February 15, 2019, 04:33:14 AM
That is very serious and that is the major reason why I am afraid of gambling and I always gambled with the amount I can afford to lose.  I gambling many has really experienced bad conditions and sharing it like this will definitely encourage others.
Serious indeed and if someone who will not take responsibility of his gambling activity, he will mostly go home with a walk of shame (program). LOL.
I can't remember if this has ever happened to me but as far as my concern I had some crazy experience and shameful incidents.

11873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pension funds bringing money to Bitcoin. on: February 12, 2019, 08:43:18 PM
If I'm old enough and I have pension funds, I'll definitely invest it somewhere so it can sustain some of my needs in the future as long as I don't need the money for the meanwhile. At least these folks has the guts to invest in cryptocurrency, they are re-investing their money which is a wise idea.

Someone is going to be very happy or very pissed off in the future.
Lets all wish them the happiness in the future, I don't want to them to be pissed off because they lost their money's value after investing to crypto. I don't want them to blame crypto one day.
11874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If... on: February 12, 2019, 08:23:49 PM
If I get addicted maybe there is also a possibility that I will certainly blame people whenever I lose on a game.
I'll do the same and this is just me. Even I'm not addicted I used to blame people for my losses. But past is past and I'm good today and was able to overcome this kind of attitude. Becoming an addicted gambler would really change our attitude and I don't know what other worse thing that I can do 'IF' I become one again. I salute to those gamblers that remained to be calm and didn't blamed anyone for their losses, you're all guys the MVP. I guess it's all about the attitude.
11875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs Bittrex on: February 12, 2019, 01:48:51 PM
Binance is better for me because it has a user friendly site. It is also saving fund to avoid any kind of loss which is a good vision. And it has its backed up coin too. In all aspects, I prefer Binance.
I also prefer binance now but before there's Bittrex and it's the most popular exchange before but time flies really fast. Because of the changes that happened within a short period of time it was the best time for Binance to take over the lead. Bittrex is still a good exchange for its users but now, I rarely use them and I think I won't be trading them anymore unless we see some major change that will be in the favor of their traders. People are likely to stick with Binance.

I don't hold this coin but you better stay off from this thread as there's already a specific thread which has been made earlier for this coin's speculation.

11877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Criteria of a good gambler on: February 11, 2019, 05:30:46 PM
The people who have lot of money can be a good gambler because they won't get much life problem even if they lose money in gambling so when you want to gamble make yourself rich.
Sounds good but even he has a 'lot' of money. It's still limited, if that person won't be cautious and careful enough to maintain his standing and can't control himself, he can still become a bad gambler. That's the start of someone who's getting addicted with gambling for having a source. But there's also a bad side on it because of abundance, he can abuse himself. A criteria of a good gambler isn't all about the amount of money he has but on how good he is not just on how to gamble but also in controlling himself.
11878  Economy / Economics / Re: More Countries Continue To Show Support For Blockchain Technology on: February 11, 2019, 03:09:17 PM
That is an advantage for them and it is also the best preparation that most countries could do to gain a good profit when the bull market runs. Countries who are getting involved in crypto are the ones who are open for the adoption of cryptocurrency as currency.
Malta has also good advantage for crypto start ups but with this kind of set of ruling for blockchain related start ups, it will attract and can increase the awareness of it in the country. Countries like South Korea are now totally friendly to blockchain and crypto.

They are often with it and the people's feedback are overwhelming. Positive news all the time but the reality speaks that whatever the good feature that this technology offers, some countries are not willing to adopt it. Hope to see more countries do this.
11879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is starting to improve??? on: February 11, 2019, 02:15:40 PM
Every pumping time we think that bull market is started.
You can't blame the people if we're all thinking  that when a pump comes, we're all thinking that it's about the time that bull run has come. It's a matter of positive thinking and longing for the bullish trend. We missed it very much.

This pump was different the market was in the bottom and start to pump only simple.
No, this market isn't different. We may have reached the bottom and this is just about the period when the market starts to see it's time for the reversal. We can speculate more about it but we can't never be sure if the time has come.
11880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTT Price May Touch $0.001644 in 2019 on: February 11, 2019, 12:33:17 PM
With the total supply of BTT, you need to calculate on how much it would take before BTT reaches that speculation that you've made. You need to take note of many things aside from calculating it. The total market cap must be that high that's able to sustain that price of yours. We don't know what lies in the future and crypto can fluctuate that high but I just really can't think on how large the money would come in just for BTT to reach $0.001644.
