What is interesting to me is that he did password reset and made no posts for almost a month, and his loan situation is not clear. As long as shasan doesn't complain about it, the loan should be considered sorted. YOSHIE's new signature doesn't look very positive, I'd say lock this thread and let him be.

My educated guess: go for 7 sat/byte if you want it confirmed by tomorrow. My advice: use the Coins tab in Electrum, select (hold CTRL) only the largest inputs, right-click to Spend them. Consolidate those at 7 sat/byte, and use a lower fee for the smallest inputs. Considering you own old funds, you may want to have a look at Forkcoin claiming.

I have earned 24 in the last 30 days No you didn't, 23 out of your 24 Merits were earned in the last 23 days. I use theymos' Merit data dump (which happens weekly on Friday morning) for this data, and 13 of your Merits were earned after the data dump. They'll show up in this list next week.

If a user leaves a claim/complaint, it is highlighted red and requires the immediate attention of an exchanger. An exchanger can neutralize a claim if it is unjust and the funds were sent to the user in full. There's another problem with this: established exchanges, like Kraken and Binance, are left with negative feedback for years. Those guys probably don't even know BestChange exists, so they don't respond within 10 minutes like some other exchanges do. It is supposed that we do not have fraudulent exchangers in the listing In that case, you may want to get rid of YoBit and HitBTC. IP address is recorded and made public. I don't like this part at all, even though the last 256 possibilities are removed from the IP address, it shares way too much information.

Why this warnings? Because of e.g. possible power-outings of a Linux Live system? Is it not enough to write down the 12 seed words? Your seed words will protect your funds, but without persistent storage you'll lose your transaction labels. That's probably okay as long as you only make one transaction per month, but if you have multiple payments coming in simultaneously, you may want to keep track of address labels and transaction descriptions.

I just noticed jochen-hoenicke.de, my favourite Bitcoin fee estimate site accepts LN donations: Big spender as I am, I paid for an hour If you're new to LN, this offer still stands: Please post a QR-code with a 100 sat ($0.06, I'm cheap) LN payment request. I'll fund the first 10-ish I'll see (one per user of course). I don't want to turn this into a giveaway thread, but for testing it should be okay. If your request is valid for 24 hours I should see it on time (if it's only 1 hour I might be asleep). I'm asking for a QR-code so I can easily pay from mobile without copying codes.

In the past hours, 10 sat/byte was enough for a fast confirmation. In the past weeks, I've seen fees rise a lot. Last Sunday, it reached as low as 7 sat/byte. My expectation for tomorrow is around the same. I noticed Johoe's site got updated: Instead of the number of transactions, it now shows the transaction weight by default. The graph looks totally different because many low-fee transactions are very large (consolidating many inputs), and the high-fee transactions are a lot smaller.

And the flag I created says expired. OMG. That's by design: a Type 2 Flag ("violated a casual or implied agreement") expires after 3 years, and in this case "the act occurred around March 2018". See: In the spirit of forgiveness/redemption, scammer flags expire 3 years after the incident if the contract was casual/implied, and 10 years after the incident if the contract was written. These expiration times might be administratively changed in specific cases. Considering the last line, you can ask theymos to extend it. It's only the second Expired Flag though, so I don't expect this to change.

I created a txt file with the seed phrase but some of it got corrupted. I'm curious: how did this happen, and how do you still know for sure some words are correct? I can understand if it was on a shredded piece of paper, but not when it's a text file.

Hello @shasan. As discussed through PM. Request additional time for payment.
For now my debt + interest is 1.5 ETH, and in the future I will add 0.2 ETH interest will be a total payment of 1.7 ETH. I will pay in April the 27th.
In April I will repay my debt in full with interest. Please confirm, thank you.
I will update this post, after paying the basic loan interest. regards yoshieYes, you are right. The repayment date was 11 months ago. If YOSHIE scammed, I would expect shasan to have called him out by now. Current total loan + interest payable is $3520 or more. That's a pretty big sum for someone earning only $100 per week like YOSHIE from an signature campaign. Do you know what he can buy starting at $3520 in Indonesia? I think that kind of money can buy two new 150cc automatic motorbikes there. Long-term loans in an extremely volatile currency are very risky, especially for people coming from a country with low wages. If he didn't have the $200 he needed a year ago, it's not very likely he'll have a much larger amount now. But since there's no scam accusation, this may very well have been settled in private.

I sent bitcoins to the bitcoin core wallet before it was ever finished, so i am hoping that it is still there. Easy check: enter your address on Blockchair.com to see the balance. then bitcoin core just crashed. In desperation i formated the hdd and tried again, and it still crashes My guess: something's wrong with your system. My advice: - Make a backup of your original wallet.dat on an external USB stick
- Make another backup
- Ignore all PMs offering to "help" you.
I am trying here in a last attempt of desperation to recover my btc. I really need a step by step guide i think to mange this. I really hope someone can help me, and if someone does i would be willing to share som of my btc in grattitude! I know these are just words but i really will. So yeah, looking forward to some educated advise on how to sort this out! Thank you in advance Can you share some of your system specs? (Using an external HDD isn't promising) Depending on your system I would probably recommend to install Bitcoin Core on your internal drive, set it to prune the blockchain (which saves a lot of disk space), close it, copy your old wallet.dat to replace * the newly created wallet.dat, and let it synchronize 350 GB of data. * Just in case you make a mistake, never delete a wallet, just rename it to wallet.dat.old.March19.2021 or something.

Could somebody explain how vouchers work? Here's a real usage example: due to my intent to expose the blockchain data from this transaction, I decided to use an address from ChipMixer. The address was obtained using ChipMixer voucher codes that I set aside for this potential purpose in November. I always keep a moderate amount of money in Chip vouchers, just in case I need to do something bad for my privacy. The money for these vouchers may have been deposited by me anytime in about the past three or four years; thus, any blockchain observer who identifies Chip inputs will not find it feasible to guess which were mine.

You know, I might invite Cryptohunter along as my plus one to our next party, just so he can see what he's missing out on. My finger was itching on the delete button Parties are supposed to be fun! And right when I wanted to post this, I got this: Error 521 Web server is down It's a sign! Don't bring CH ^^ my hair actually starts to look like this since the lockdown. I think he'd like to finally meet Marcel, Averell and the rest of the Dalton Gang. Who's Averell? Oh, by the way, I think it's more proper to call CH as Foxpup does: c******unter Ninjastic Space shows 28 results, but it's a bug that needs reporting.
