Could somebody explain how vouchers work? If I send 0.55 BTC and get a voucher, how and when it can be used?
Can it be used in any other session? Is it valid only while the initial session (7 days) valid?

It can be used whenever you like. You can use it immediately, or you can hold on to it for months. Yes, vouchers can be used in other sessions, even after the initial session expires. Let's say I deposited 0.1 BTC a month ago, and then immediately withdrew a 0.064 chip and kept the other 0.036 as a voucher. Now, a month later, I open a new session. In that new session, I can make a new deposit (let's say I deposit 0.04 BTC) and I can also redeem my old voucher, meaning my new session will have a total balance of 0.076 BTC. I can redeem multiple vouchers and combine their values, and I can leave behind what I don't withdraw in a new voucher to be redeemed in another few weeks or months.

Could somebody explain how vouchers work? Here's a real usage example: due to my intent to expose the blockchain data from this transaction, I decided to use an address from ChipMixer. The address was obtained using ChipMixer voucher codes that I set aside for this potential purpose in November. I always keep a moderate amount of money in Chip vouchers, just in case I need to do something bad for my privacy. The money for these vouchers may have been deposited by me anytime in about the past three or four years; thus, any blockchain observer who identifies Chip inputs will not find it feasible to guess which were mine.

Are you going to consider implementing SegWit anytime soon? With transaction fees being high, anyone using your service is going to pay more to withdraw chips as they are all non-SW addresses. I also believe that enough people have started using SegWit so that someone not using SW is a "tell" that might help identify someone as using your service.

Segwit was implemented and tested two years ago. It was disabled due to problems with importing private keys. It could be enabled after some market research.

Segwit was implemented and tested two years ago. It was disabled due to problems with importing private keys. It could be enabled after some market research. You should be able to test importing SW private keys with major wallet software, and provide instructions accordingly. IDK the size of your experiment in 2018, or if it was spastically significant. As mentioned, non-SW transactions could be a ‘tell’ that someone is using CM.
On a similar note, there is a feature on your website allowing someone to withdraw chips via CM broadcasting a transaction to the address of the user’s choice, however there is no option to allow the user to customize the transaction such as the fee rate.

There are three ways to use withdrawn private keys and this one is the worst - privacy-wise. We do not recommend using it and we are not improving it.

@ChipMixer it has been now soon 24hrs that I deposited a good amount of coins through your Tor site, and till now I didn't receive my chips! It's still showing waiting for confimation while it has been confirmed very long. I had sent with high fees! Meanwhile btc lost already almost 10%.
What is going on please? I already sent you an email with the details!

Allow me to quote the real domains: The post I'm quoting was last edited January 22, 2018. I'll use this post as a reference to leave ChipMixer Neutral feedback confirming the domains. I've left positive feedback years ago already, so now I'm only using Neutral to stand out.Don't trust my post, or another other non-offical link. Always follow the links to find the quoted post and check the original. They should both have the same links! Stay vigilant!

If anyone wants a mnemonic to write down/remember for the chars that appear: Wage Zebra Xray Tropical Zoo Balance Worry
The same link loycev posted has been in my signature since around then and has been used.
It's useful to come back to this topic and see if anythings changed just before you go to use it though - even if it hasn't changed in almost 4 years.

There are three ways to use withdrawn private keys and this one is the worst - privacy-wise. We do not recommend using it and we are not improving it. You could give users the choice to emulate various popular wallet software, and could allow for multiple output addresses. If someone normally uses electrum, they could withdraw using an emulated BitPay wallet. Users could also be given the option to be given the signed transaction instead of you broadcasting the transaction so transactions would not be linked back to your known nodes. If anyone wants a mnemonic to write down/remember for the chars that appear: Wage Zebra Xray Tropical Zoo Balance Worry

It would probably be better to use a bookmark instead of relying on memorizing links or relying on 3rd party sites give you addresses of businesses that you are sending money to.

Might leave a bit of a trace though in your browsing history compared to some random words written down... I deposited over 24 hours ago on http://chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion waiting for it but not going to step 2, blockchain shows lots and lots of confirmation and I emailed support and no reply in 24 hours? Jump to step 2. It won't do it automatically because you'll have no script enabled on tor (hopefully). If you've jumped past step 2 you might have to wait for a reply from them (if you've made a deposit since)..

Might leave a bit of a trace though in your browsing history compared to some random words written down... If someone gains access to your computer, they would know you use, or at least access CM’s website. There is a good chance they would know that anyway by looking at the wallet software on the computer plus using blockchain analysis. Other than the above, I don’t see any downside to using a bookmark. Obviously the upside would be that you pretty much remove the risk of visiting a phishing link.
