I think you should buy a hardware wallet, and transfer all your BTC into it. And then throw it into a river or something.

I think the cardano was and will be more promising for longevity (analogue of the etherium network), and Ripple is a token for the hype.
Ripple is fool's gold, No idea why people even buy it. I guess it's still cheap in dollar price compared to other crypto's. And people expect it to do a btc or eth. Not happening ever.

Looks at tokens that give dividends, instead of just a well written whitepaper and future appreciation in price. Look at tokens like Taas, sharpe, brick block, horse for consistent earning.

Y'all ever think that maybe there legitimately are no market manipulators and instead everyone who FOMO'd into crypto in Winter got burnt out and sold all the way down coupled with ICOs dumping crypto to afford operating costs?
Really makes ya think
There are manipulators, they use that big dump in early year to make price down in long time. you think why we face bear in almost 7 months? they surely get big profit selling in dec and many cheap btc accumulating in low price There game is set as always. They have accumulated enough at low price. And now they will just sit back for a while and let the price appreciate. Then rinse and repeat after some time.

There's still a lot of failed project but i am agree with you that people must stop investing into a project without mvp. There's a lot of project from last year that haven't release anything till now and they collected a lot of money back then so there's a lot of people that suffer because of this. If people stop giving money so easily then the icos will raise their standard and the amount of failed project will be reduced.
I still see lots of people throwing money on useless ICO's. They should atleast realize that no big exchanges are listing any coins from last few months. What is the point of investing, if they never even get listed, and goes to trade on graveyards such as idex or forkdelta.

Some nice picks you have here! Just remember the $ value doesnt matter at all, its the market cap that truly matters. Not sure if ICOs count as sleepers but here are a few that i'm deeply interested in personally. If you or anyone else wants to get a head start on looking into ICOs.
TIP Blockchain aims to create the most user-friendly and easy to use platform in the cryptocurrency economy, that connects businesses to end users, and removes the technical barriers that users face today when using cryptocurrency.
Daostack IO powers decentralized companies, funds and markets to make fast and innovative decisions at scale. Basically an operating system for collective intelligence.
Deedcoin is a cryptocurrency that will simplify real estate. Deedcoin customers use DEED to decide what to pay in commission costs when purchasing or selling a home, lowering the traditional 6% fee to 1%.
The above three coins looks like what not to buy list. However good the roadmap or idea is on whitepaper, if its not trading on good exchanges, it will die. Just take a look at the above, even idex won't list them.

I heard some really good stuff about blockparty. What I heard describes a good project with huge potential, in its early stages with cheap price (like ETH when it was $4 or EOS when it was $0.5). What I heard about it: - It's a low cap project ($10M), so its price can easily progress to very high levels! A $100 million marketcap mean 10x rise. - It's mostly distributed to strong hands. If you don't know what it means, let's just say that you won't have 1000 dumpers when the price pumps 20%! - They have an already working platform, and they are close to releasing lots of news, everyone of them could mean higher and higher prices. - Some really heavyweight people are supporting and advising it (Michael Novogratz and his galaxy digital fund, Brian Kelly, ...). I'm not an investment advisor and I'm not suggesting anyone to buy it. Actually it's in very early stages, the BOXX token only exists on bancor and cryptopia and I haven't even bought enough myself; but if it gets added to high volume exchanges it might get more expensive. I suggest you become a member of the telegram group and do your own research: https://t.me/BlockpartyCommunityMore resources: https://www.goblockparty.com/https://twitter.com/goblockpartyhttps://twitter.com/shivcoinhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4082355.0Any thought and opinions are appreciated. Other than marketing, volume and price, there is not a single thing that is mentioned about the project itself. Why it is so good? What it is trying to change or achieve? etc etc.

Other countries will follow suit, if not now then next year, or the year after that. when crypto blows up to REAL multi trillions china will be crying at blowing their huge head start for nothing
when the winds of change start to blow....
Winds of change sure starting to blow.

not that easy.. stock market's stocks have real companies and product behind them but in the case of crypto there are more than 80% crypto currencies which have nothing but the whitepaper to offer. Moreover stockmarket is not that volatile like crypto , like share price will fall or increase about 5% in a day but in the crpto market we see that any coin can be pump or dump about 50%-80%.
Rightly said. Stock market companies have products that are being used by masses. What does crypto have as a product that people use? Barring handfull of coins, other have no products. Some have products but no users. It's all a mega scam and p n d scheme. Make hay while sun shines, but don't ever think whitepapers will replace your ipads, cell phones, cars or airplanes.

At the moment I'm not ready to take a lot of risk, so I invest only in the most reliable coins. I'm fully confident that bitcoin, ETH, Cardano, Monero will bring good profits to me. They are my favorites now.
Same for me, these are all low risk coins. I have also started looking at tezos. After their test net launch, theres a buzz around it. Other than that some long term investment like blocknet, knc etc.
|
|
|
Ethereum is low risk investment. Other than that coins which are making good progress like 0x, factom, aeternity, etc. I stay away from coins that provide crypto backed loans, because no exchanges list them.

Holding and waiting for market to come up. Best time to relax from hyper market activity. Learn about new projects, and make plans what coins to follow in future.

Maybe for couple of years. Have already invested in some good coins. Now will just sit and wait. It's the best strategy to follow in crypto.

OptiToken gonna moon hard on open in 2 weeks
Also have the same opinion. It was under the radar from the start. Other than that, any coin that pay you dividends like Taas, nexo, sharpe etc. or atleast have staking feature like sapien, bitbay.

Obviously very tired if ICO conditions like the example of today we buy ICO coins but when listing in the market the price will be very low, indeed we as investors should know if we follow the purchase in ICO will definitely wait long for the project goes well because ICO project is built not has a strong foundation and is still early to form a company but with many ICOs that always stop in the middle of the road then we will be very worried if this kind of thing continues.
ICO's are fadinh, even the good ones are loosing value because of the scams. Even if you want to buy them, better to get much cheaper on exchanges than in ICO's. Also I do not get the idea of 50-80% discount. It's a not a discount, if every one is buying at the same price.

Ideal bounty : High allocation, good bounty manager, defined time of the bounty without extension , promising project that I am excited with it`s potential , active Team and community, payout according the rules, growing price after ICO.
Promising project is the most important thing here. I do not mind hodling my coins for couple of years, if the project is good. For example Monaco, hodled for a while but was worth it. Apart from that, payout should be on time. Not after three months of ICO. Have seen some project paying out after a year. That is part scamming.
|
|
|
Unfortunately the last few bounties I’ve been a part of have been slow to pay out and some have not paid out at all or not hit soft cap making it worthless, it is a shame and means I wasted time
Bounty campaigns are not very dissimilar than ICO's. You have to research before getting into them. If you are campaigning for some of those worthless coins that comes in thousands, then do not expect to be rewarded.

For me I am not into trading, trading is not my thing because i am very emotional kind of person, I can't handle the pressure and decision making involves in trading crytos daily, I only hold my cryptos for a long term to sell off when i am comfortable with the price
Daily trading is time consuming. And daily trades are heavily manipulated by bigger fishes(read whales). I also tend to hodl and take profits when necessary.

Over valuation of tokens is one of the main reasons. Why will some one pay 10 cents/token, without any value. Moreover shady background details with no idea what private investor is another scam. After the ICO, those tokens are dumped into the market, and small guys get fried.
|
|
|
Mostly telegram groups and bitcoin talk forum here. Sometimes use ICO benchmark sites like icoalert etc. Follow some good crypto handles on twitter. Even after that you will miss some good projects.
