121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Somebody wanted to control Bitcoin's dramatic growth on: September 23, 2017, 10:49:25 PM
You saw, Bitcoin were step away on hitting $5000.... Isn't it awesome? I jumped into Bitcoin world in march 2016 when the Bitcoin price at $480... and I experienced around 950% growth in last 17 months. Does Bitcoin deserve for such a dramatic growth as a digital currency which is expecting the acceptance as a legal currency type in tomorrow's economy? No, Bitcoin can't achieve such a acceptance with such a fast growth since none of the legal currency today haven't shown such a behavior yet.

The main purpose behind introducing Bitcoin was a digital currency, anybody from anywhere of the world can use electronically. But, what has happened today? People have used to dress up Bitcoin as a gambling tool as well.

So, I think.... Somebody who wanted to see Bitcoin as tomorrow's legal currency type, controlled it's dramatic growth. That's what we're experiencing today.

What do you think?

This somebody is the government itself. It's the chinese government who think it's the center of the world. They think they can control and regulate everything like they did in the past, but bitcoin society won't let this happen.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can go below $3k if support level at $3800 will be broken on: September 23, 2017, 06:59:47 PM
The support level will break for sure as many have said do not invest in bitcoin until 30th sept because china isn't gonna stop they are planning to do more bans and regulations on bitcoin. Below 3000$ is actually good for the community to buy more bitcoins i already grabbed some at 3200$ and currently the support level looks really know i don't think enough resistance will be there

Of course every dip is a good buying for all of us. Well the China hangover up to the 30th is still there but bitcoin proves that it can withstand anything. The price is $3800 so the Dimon bashing has little or no significant effect on the price. I'm expecting the price go to down slowly because of the closure, but it seems to be moving north again. We still have one week to go, so anything can happen but I don't think that it can go down below $3000, support level is very strong as evident of today's price.

It's only good for the people having fiat money and free capital on their pocket so that they can buy more free/cheap bitcoin. For those who are only holding bitcoin, it's not that good.

And I also think supports sometimes doesn't work while the market is volatile.

Dimon Knocks Bitcoin Again: Crackdown Likely on 'Worthless' Cryptocurrency

Jamie Dimon is at it again.

Expanding on his recent criticism of bitcoin, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase bank is again out in the media warning "it will end badly" for the tech. In a fresh round of press interviews, Dimon told CNBC he is concerned about a flood of cryptocurrencies – thanks to bitcoin, ethereum and initial coin offerings (ICOs) – and believes governments will soon crackdown on the phenomenon.

Should we feel threatend or worried?  Considering the fact that whatever they say to bitcoin, bitcoin has already a foundation.  It has been trusted and proven and that there is no way that they can knock it down.  Bitcoin price goes down a little but it is still high compared to its price months ago.

Jpmorgan palying dangerous this time. I don't really know that their problem is with bitcoin, but they're becoming a bitcoin hater by the way. They make media publish negative news about bitcoin etc.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening again? The market is looking all red! on: September 23, 2017, 06:32:57 PM
Hello guys,

What is really happening the market all red?

Woke up this morning with my full confidence that market will continue to recover but it didn't!

Can someone explain to me what is really going on because the market is not recovering, instead going to the hell again, more deeper!

Thank you.

Yes indeed the market is showing all red with few exceptions but I am sure that this is not going to sustain for long. It is just the after shock of the major downward trend that the market has shown for last few weeks. That's very normal for the real life stock market and this crypto market as well. It is just saving the energy and strengthening its ground to take the next leap. So chill and wait for the best time to enter.

The bitcoin price is currently standing at $3700 level so it looks really good time to enter. Start buying in small amounts and accumulate. I am doing the same at this moment.

We can't now decide whether it's a good level to enter it. It can decrease more than this. It is only up to a chinese manipulation to decline for hundreds of dollars. It will be hard to catch old bullish market.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 6 Reasons Why Shift Will Become A Top 10 Coin In 2018 on: September 23, 2017, 06:20:04 PM
Great sharing there

One thing i like about shift was of course their DPOS

Although if you hold a little of SHIFT, it will not generate much as others contribute more, but it worth the hold Smiley

Great reasons and they're constructive at least. But, the problem is that, me, as a user, don't like their project by heart even it looks very promising. Without community support, a project can't go much further itself.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 23, 2017, 06:09:21 PM
I will not accept bitcoin as my salary because the price of bitcoin  increase  and decrease...
That is the main reason why no company will adopt bitcoin and used to pay their workers, also no worker wanting to received their salary in bitcoin because it would be unstable income specially if you are regular in your job. Bitcoin is only better to be an other source of income even it will gives much higher profit than to your regular work.

Right. It is not good to receive bitcoin as salary from regular job because the price is unstable. You have to change it into fiat first before using it to buy goods because some enterprises do not accept it as payment also. Though Bitcoin is good source of income and can earn much higher than regular job, regular salary of own country currency is better for regular job.

The price is really unstable as you said. We can't rely on bitcoin related business only. This is a fact, a real job is much better than bitcoin earnings for us. We can't continue with bitcoin earnings only.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: What was the reason behind Bitcoin bear market of 2014-2015? on: September 22, 2017, 12:03:16 AM
People usually speculate about the future price, but maybe to predict the future we must first understand the past to see if there are any patters and mechanism that might drive the price. To me the most mysterious period of Bitcoin market is the bear market of 2014-2015, when Bitcoin was sitting at $230 for almost 2 years. So, what caused such a low price? Was is solely an effect of Mt.Gox or something else? I'm especially interested to hear responses from people who were into Bitcoin during those times and were involved in trading discussions. Thanks!

If you ask me, I can say that the market was in decission phase where the participants are deciding if the future will be with bitcoin or not. And this created an uncertainity between 2014 and 2015.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many coins you are holding stayed GREEN through this? on: September 21, 2017, 11:48:19 PM
I'm not counthing them on a daily basis but I can say that most of my coins and tokens were red or reddish. The last 20 days are nigtmare for me. I missed old bullish days.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan buys Bitcoin (after Dimon crashed the market) on: September 21, 2017, 11:37:46 PM
Nothing surprised me here with this news, companies like them always make negative news on the market and then buy from the dip. Then they maximize their profits. Good method frankly.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: September 21, 2017, 10:08:27 PM
Yes, Bitcoin can be used by ordinary people without any issue. They need only to learn a little bit about it and getting some knowledge. Usually the young people are using Bitcoin more because many of them are already interested about the blockchain technology. Using bitcoin and dealing with it isn't hard or complicated to learn, even ordinary people can learn about it

It can be used technically, in theory. But you're not seeing the reality and truth behind this. Ordinary citizens can't buy bitcoin because it's extremely expensive. Then they can't also use it. In practise, bitcoin is not for standard people.
131  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: September 20, 2017, 09:40:43 PM
ya trading is gambling for me even I read many topic teach trade skill or how to read chart ....

It all depends on how to play, if you played trading like you play gambling, your game just hope on luck rather than on skills and knowledge. but the fact that trading needs more skills and knowledge, while gambling 99% of luck.
trading can not be compared to gambling, when you use a luck system in the trade it means you have the first two possibilities to make a profit in every trade and the second you lose some money because of a hasty sale, in a trade there is called by holding back funding, and that's a very worthy need until we finally have some profit from the delayed trade due to the stock market plummeting

You are quite right.
I don't think gambling and trading works same way. Gambling is simply a luck stuff and the outcome one can't determine but trading can reasonably controlled by understanding the indicators which most times could signal when to put an order or when to exit.

Gambling is a trashy stuff anyway. It never depend on your talent or effort, it's just number of chance. Trading is more fair and you spend time, you get more profit from trading.

If you lose, keep going with less amount and at the end you'll start earning.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So when do you "actually" plan to cash in your bitcoin? > or <$1,000,000 on: September 20, 2017, 08:58:26 PM
Why cash out ? You can spend your bitcoin by then. Smiley

Yes, we all want bitcoin to hit the $1 million mark, but do you plan to sell before then or even if it hits $1,000,000 would you really sell then? So the question is, have you thought about when you plan to cash in or don't you plan to cash out?

This is really a difficult question to answer and it's due to everybody greed that they wanted bitcoin to reach so high so they can be rich but in the real sense even if it reached that amount. A lot of people will still sift pedalled and say "hey, why don't I wait a little bit its going to reach $2 million in 6 months".

The only thing that would make one cash out and not regret is to do it once and never looked back, shut out everything that have to do with bitcoin and continue with other areas of life because with constant checking of activities on the forum, speculation threads,  news around the globe, countries adopting bitcoin for foreign reserves, one is sure to die of frustration very early.

I don't think you should get out of the bitcoin world. Its a method of pay and you can still use it to make payments and for your finance. After all that is what it is for.

Why cash out? In order to get the real money for sure. We can't keep going with digital assets all the time here. We need to realize them and get the profit if we're holding bitcoins.

I'll wait for $30,000.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 20, 2017, 08:45:35 PM
I say 0,06125 by December 18.2017  Shocked Grin

Pfft, you gotta be a bit more ridiculous with your speculation like people in this thread.

Like 0.07 by the end of september (10 days!) Cheesy

Its all fun and games for the bears until Monero goes up violently and never comes back.

We're still watching it, I regret for not buying more Monero 2 months ago. The price went up dramatically. As the target, 0.1 btc will be realistic target for next one year.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan’s CEO claimed Bitcoin it is a fraud on: September 20, 2017, 07:46:10 PM
Hi, what is your opinion about this ?
https://fxpmarkets.blog/2017/09/15/bitcoin-is-a-fraud-said-jp-morgan-ceo-jaime-dimon/
I heard JP Morgan bought  a lot of bitcoins after the fall,
do you think is only manipulation ?

What can I say about this, totally a fallacy... They tried to take control over cryptocurrencies and take copy rights of the coins, but they couldn't. That's why, they're now blaming bitcoin and spreading black propaganda.
135  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hi guys is Poloniex is working fine on: September 13, 2017, 09:05:19 PM
Poloiex is not answering support tickets. I opened support tickets on june, july and august, none of them got replied by their support team. They also cause on purpose problems with withdrawals. Some people say they don't get their withdrawals.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: August 28, 2017, 07:18:03 PM
History of both markets tell us which one is better take a look back from 2011 - 2017 and study both markets for investing 10 k $ on 2011 where more profit gaining by now indeed bitcoin is the best .
There is no doubt that bitcoin had been compared with gold but now bitcoin has left gold very far behind and is better than gold and everyone knows it. So everyone will definitely. I always say that there will be the time when diamond will be compared to bitcoin and bitcoin will also surpass diamond. Holding bitcoin will definitely give more profit no doubt in that.

I don't think bitcoin has a chance against gold. Serious investment groups do not invest in bitcoin since they don't find bitcoin trusted. They prefer precious metals such as gold and silver and other commodities.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Ripple is number 3 on Coinmarket. How come its below 1 Dollar? on: July 26, 2017, 06:14:04 PM
Wouldn't the price get raised?

It wouldn't becasue of its super high supply. 38 billions ripple are out there now. I personally find the curent price very high. It should be below $0.05. Being $1/ripple means its market cap is 38 billions of dollars and this is not possible.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coindash SCAM - Open discussion on: July 26, 2017, 04:02:23 PM
I personally never thought of coindash as being scam, I have been considering to invest in the ICO, but with information that you have provided, I think I am going to stay as far away, just to be on the safe side you know.

Please enlighten us with the information you were just "provided" with making you understand CoinDash did the hack itself?
What are you proofs? me approaching to one of the Ambassadors with disappointment from being fast accused? really? what does that prove?

CDT Token distribution is just processing as we speak, everyone got what they paid for, Why on earth would the project make this whole show if what your are saying is right? wouldn't it be much easier for us to disappear without giving anything in return? use you heads people, stop falling for fucking trolls accusations....

i think they are a inpatient person just  not knowing what the risk ther are doing . for me coindash project in team doing everything they could do to fix the problem .. for me guys keep it mind that there are always risk to take so dont cry thats life. no risk no gain.

I believe those guys and I'm sure they will do their best to fix the existing problems. I don't see a reason for coindash team to hack themselves during ico and steal eth from the people. Their project would have been one of the best platforms ever. Some need to stop accusing them if everybody is getting their tokens.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: July 26, 2017, 03:28:43 PM
Bitcoin already earned good name in the market & it has good potential to grow in the future it will be accepted world wide in near future. Yes it sounds good money for me.
Bitcoins are sound money, indeed. I have same opinion. In the past few years, the way it has grown and attracted masses, it won’t be an exaggeration to consider bitcoins the future currency of digital world.
So many people have made their dreams come true by trading with bitcoins. It’s very easy to earn from bitcoins and I guess this is the reason; people are highly attracted towards bitcoins.

Bitcoin is scary since the july 2017 and it doesn't sound directly money anymore. I'm still investing in bitcoin but fear from it too. I think I will take a serious decission after august and decide if I will stay in bitcoin or not.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Valuation of Bitcoin hard forked coins; specifically BCC on: July 26, 2017, 12:46:24 AM
What makes BTC the best cryptocurrency right now is because it has the best minds working on the protocol. The hard fork to BCC wont get the support of those developers. I think it will show that BTC's value isnt only about hash power. Its about coming up with secure code and the best solutions possible.

BCC will not be as valuable as BTC.

Viabtc has a right to list non existing coins in its market? All of you guys are saying bcc does not even exist and it shouldn't be listed. Does this mean a hard fork will happen on 1 August?
