121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 13, 2017, 09:45:24 AM
I had this morning new strange issue with another rig. All was up-time more than 50h but suddenly miner hash work was not detected by poool. My miner was still working with full hash power, without error or anything similar, but mining pool did not registered has work rate. Interesting, effective hash rate was there, but not current. Any thoughts on this? Issue was sorted with miner restart.

It is the dev. fees ?
Had same thing this morning, 5-8 in the morning nothing was reported to ethermine.org though miners was up and running:

Why my image is not showing?  Huh
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 12, 2017, 08:25:50 AM
Hey Claymore, some possible suggestions:

1. In monitor each miner could have own Altcoin settings, one miner mine SC other DCR, etc, maybe it is even possible to get this info from miner itself, as we use config to set altcoin..

2. Devfee would be more efficient if you could detect best server, mine miners use EU servers, and i saw that devfee mine on US with 2-3 times higher ping. Though it is the same pool...

3. Could you try to avoid DAG recreation each devfee? Maybe if you can detect that you can use same pools as miner is using currently for your fees you could just switch Workers/wallets. Would be much faster

Thanks for your work.

Thanks for the 9.7 version, nice work here.

I dont believe in coincidences thats why. And for mathematical hashing to be equal to 10x could be a sign of error and hence be reported.

Any idea what algo is? Mining is just too easy nowadays, entry level is below any average knowledgebase...

Your overclock?
+50 on every card GPU, +725..875 Memory depending on card, 95TDP.

But ETH+SIA it is fully stable. LBRY more memory intensive?
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 22, 2017, 06:00:27 AM
Hi guys, ETH+LBRY claymore gives GPU errors after some time and restarts mining. Same settings ETH+SIA - stable. Definitely not the PSU. 4x1060 rig. Any suggestions? Thanks!

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Afterburner (latest version) freezes on 4 GPU Nvidia rig, Win 10x64 on: June 20, 2017, 04:29:34 AM
Hi everyone,

Anyone came into this? Maybe it is usual problem? After restart i can run Afterburner for some time, set clocks for testing and leave it, it works, but it becoming unusable after ~30 min. Freezes, then unfreezes for ~1 sec, and freezes again, only restart helps.

Afterburner (latest version), 4 Nvidia GPU, Win 10 x 64 latest, tried compatibility mode.

I use RDP, maybe it causes problems as in another areas, though i always see temps and fans correctly.

Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, what miners you use for NVIdia exclusive? Also is there any AMD+NVIDIA miners? Modified nicehash?

And what about future development of HUSH?
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 19, 2017, 06:40:04 AM

Any ideas on whats causing this and how to fix it?

Are you OCing them? Maybe too much OC on memory?
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Motherboard for NVIDIA rig on: June 17, 2017, 02:20:17 PM
Hi everyone,

Have two not full GTX 1060 machines running on windows 10, and last one has Gigabyte GA-Z270P-D3 1.0 mobo, 4GB RAM, Celeron G3900. Seems to be running OK, but i have not tried it with 5-6 cards.

So i wonder if this mobo is OK for my future mining rig, it costs ~100EUR in my country. Maybe i could get out with something cheaper? But last time i looked for mobo it was hard to find something with 6 PCIE. I could get something from Amazon.co.uk...

I need mobo for 4x1070 rig at the beginning, maybe later some RXes will arrive or i'll add more 1070. Mining Ethash with Claymores currently.

If i switch to other algo in future will it be more CPU/RAM intensive, or i will still get out with G3900/4GB ram?

Any advice's is appreciated! Thank you!

1060/1070 prices gone crazy in my country, LOL Smiley ETH skyrocket... BTC drops.. My pool went from 7 to 10 TH/s in few days..

What do you think about 570/4GB, will it still be worth it when they restock, if they...? Amazon only shows preorder on all RXses..
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 12, 2017, 01:59:14 PM
Hi All,
Was hoping for some help/suggestions.  I am trying to use claymore 9.5 to mine with 5 Zotac 1070 minis.  When I run the miner it only comes in at 2.5mh/s per card.  I dont think its a power issue since it will mine a variety of other algorithms.  Currently using stock settings in windows10.

Any suggestions would be awesome.

Do you have latest build of windows? Also what driver version you are using? i'am on 382.33 and getting around 21mh/s from 1060/6GB.

Anyone tried latest 382.53 - issues? Improvements?
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Recommandations for NVIDIA rigs ? on: June 12, 2017, 12:45:21 PM
Just out of curiosity, what OS are you all using to mine NVidia cards with? Traditionally I've used ethOS because its easy to scale, but from what I understand its not NVidia friendly.

I'am on Win10/x64 382.33 drivers with 2x1060 6GB (+400 on memory). Mining with Claymore v9.5  in dual mode (+SIA at ~33 dcri) and ethermine.org reports 41.8 MH/s (reported) and currently 38.0 MH/s (average, but miner was down for some time). System takes 300W from the wall.

Also this takes 3% fees on ETH and 3% on SIA Sad
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with my first Mining Rig on: June 12, 2017, 08:02:46 AM

are they EHT hash rate?yesterday I tried 1060 and get 27Mh/s.

What model/miner you get 27Mh/s?
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Recommandations for NVIDIA rigs ? on: June 12, 2017, 06:55:13 AM
If want to mine ETH, don't get the 1080. The memory is not as good as on the other GTX 10 models. I get 25 MH/s. The 1070 gets ~30 MH/s and the 1060 ~24 MH/s and those are cheaper than a 1080. The 1080 Ti gets ~37 MH/s but is $700+. The 1080 is good for ZEC though, I get 550 H/s at 70% TDP. The GTX 1070 is currently the best overalll Nvidia card for the price IMO.

Hi,

What model, miner an settings you use to get 24MH/s on 1060?

That is a really good idea to get the ITX versions which costs cheaper. Do they have the same hashrate as normal gtx 1060 3gb or they have a smaller one ? I don't intend to resell as with the actual price of bitcoin ROI is just 45 days for such cards. And which is the best ITX version to get ? Maybe I am thinking to go with this idea but I need the best brand, ZOTAC maybe in this area of ITX ?

Won't 3GB will be obsolete if ETH will increase DAG?

Also i would vote for dual fan version, cooler and more reliable if one fan dies... Though performance should be the same..

139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Very low GTX 960 Claymore 9.4 ETH performance, 2,3 MH/s on: June 08, 2017, 06:52:58 AM
Thanks! Maybe i can just try oldest driver available for 1060 and see how it works with 960?

Forgot to mention OS is Win 10x64 and latest NVidia drivers.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Very low GTX 960 Claymore 9.4 ETH performance, 2,3 MH/s on: June 08, 2017, 06:06:09 AM
Hi everyone,

I have set up a test rig from what i have on hands, mobo is Gigabyte GA-Z270P-D3, CPU Intel Celeron G3900. 4 GB RAM.

GPU 0 - GTX 1060/6GB (it gives around 21 MH/s with +425 on memory and P2 state (strangely i can not query supported clocks with nvidia-smi -q -d SUPPORTED_CLOCKS))
GPU 1 - GTX 960/4GB it gives around 2,3 MH/s only... Even in P0 state (it strangely works fine with this GPU)

GPU0 is in 1 PCI-E x16 GPU1 is in x4 mode.

Maybe i missed something in Mobo or Claymore configuration?

Thanks everyone!
