121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MASS ADOPTION OF BTC on: September 06, 2019, 01:05:35 AM
It's hard to predict when. But I think it will take so many years before it will happen (if possible) especially when some governments are still ain't accepting and trying to stop the use of bitcoin in their country. As what I can envision, it's possible when technology is very advance across the world to the point, everything we do needs technology.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First dental clinic in Budapest to accept bitcoin on: September 06, 2019, 12:12:09 AM
You quoted some part of the article but there's no bitcoin related. It's just like a sort of introduction about Hungary and their cheap dental care. Though it's fine, but I still had to click the link to see the part about accepting bitcoin as a payment. But regardless of that, well it's a good thing that they're positive and open for cryptocurrency. It's a step for introducing bitcoin and altcoin to other people.

124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to receive a donation in bitcoins? on: September 05, 2019, 12:17:51 AM
If you're a charity and you accept bitcoin for donation, and someone with a good heart will donate on your charity, I think it's possible. But with your story, it's still possible if there's someone who's willing to give you some of his btc. But I think it's rare, especially here in crypto, mostly everyone here wants the best for themselves. Also, we don't personally know you op, your whole story so it's hard to trust or even just give btc to someone you don't know.

Instead of asking for donation, it's better to work for it. Today, nothing comes so easy. It's good to have someone to depend on but you can't just always depend on others. You always have to work in order to gain something.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto hodling as a form of gambling! on: September 04, 2019, 11:14:19 PM
Hodling and gambling may be similar at some point like; wagering of money, involves risk, uncertainty of gaining or losing, primarily aim to gain money. But I don't consider hodling as a form of gambling since you don't play in order to win. And hodling is for long term while in gambling, playing a specific game only lasts for minutes. For me, hodling crypto is just like investing in a company, waiting for it to multiply depending on the performance of the entity in the ecomomic.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 04, 2019, 02:38:40 PM
Here in my country, a lot of people are into basketball, either local or international team. Basketball is one of the most popular sports here, and I already saw and encountered a lot of people who bet (online or not) for the team they support in a game. It's very common here to bet money for your team along with your friends and acquaintance.

Most of the answer here is soccer but in my country, it doesn't really that hyped compare to basketball which almost all boys loved.

128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 04, 2019, 02:04:29 AM
A lot of thread here already discussed martingale strategy and most don't suggest it, unless you're good at handling that strategy. It's a risk and still no assurance of winning. It's just a strategy and you don't have to depend on it since I believe it's still based on your luck and intuition, depending on what you're going to bet.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Calm Before The Storm on: September 03, 2019, 11:41:16 PM
The title was interesting that's why I clicked it and I didn't expect this actually... Are you pertaining the storm to adoption? Cause I thought 'storm' was something negative.

But regardless of it, it's actually a good step for bitcoin but ain't that big to be that excited that it'll make a mass adoption. I think it's just a small step to bitcoin recognition by companies but other people probably wouldn't notice the bitcoin option as a payment at burger king. But if they would, more possible that they would still choose to pay with fiat.

131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police helps people to stay away from Bitcoin ATM Scheme and save their funds. on: September 03, 2019, 04:38:40 PM
It was a nice move of the police. It's not their obligation to warn nor care for others they don't basically know but they still have the initiative to do it so. Although it is really a stupid act to send to a wallet you don't know, but we can't do anything about it. It'll just serve as a lesson to them. But this only implies that you should always be careful about your bitcoin and not to give your trust easily.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Burn Satoshis coins to end the threat of prices crashing - Paxful Founder on: September 03, 2019, 01:10:55 PM
Who would've agreed to that? Burning Satoshi's coin to end the threat of crashing? If we were to burn Satoshi's coin, does it guarantee to end the price to crash if he decided to sell it? Though it's his own coins and it's his own decision so we can't decide what to do about it. It's not ours anyway.

As what others have said, you should've indicate here your proofs of your previous pick and prediction in order to persuade people in this forum. I know you've said to go to Telegram to find out more. But the thing is you're selling your prediction here so you should've already include it here on your thread or even add links to make it more easy for us to check your proofs and to be more interested.

Most of us here are very skeptic so you should've provide more evidence.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake satoshi :) on: September 02, 2019, 10:30:55 AM
A lot of people are claiming to be Satoshi but he's one of the few who got a lot of attention. He succeeded in getting people's attention yet he didn't succeed on making us believe he is Satoshi 'cause in the first place, he isn't.

Just like Craig, people claiming to be Satoshi are just wasting time and effort making proofs for their claim but still no one believes them.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammer caught tortured and killed. on: September 02, 2019, 07:54:03 AM
This kind of article and real life events will only do no good to cryptocurrency. It'll just give crypto a bad image how bad and brutally it could be.

Scammers are everywhere especially when talking about valuable things. But this kind of action like torturing them is still not a good thing even though the victim also did a crime. I don't side on anyone since both of them did something wrong but I just hope this won't affect crypto and bitcoin.
137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should move to BTC? on: September 02, 2019, 03:32:19 AM
Since your main coin is xrp, it means you trust it very well. I think the best answer will come from you. It's your asset afterall. You can try selling your xrp to buy btc but not to the point you'll sell everything since as what you've said it's your main. But practically speaking, bitcoin is doing well compare to xrp so should also consider it.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 01, 2019, 11:59:41 PM
I don't think so since there are still countries who are positive towards cryptocurrency though they don't fully support it, they are also not fully against it. More possibly that if it gets more attention and adoption, some countries would just regulate it but not to the point they'll ban it.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: China Urges Philippines to Ban All Online Gambling! on: September 01, 2019, 07:33:33 AM
Why would they urge Philippines to ban online gambling?? It's not Philippines' fault if Chinese citizens would work illegally in the Philippines, as if they're forcing them to do so. I know Philippines especially Duterte are being kind to China but that doesn't give rights to China to interfere about Philippine government and their action towards an issue and the country.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these guys claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto ! on: September 01, 2019, 04:19:03 AM
Although a lot of people claiming to be Satoshi, no one or only few would believe them. I still don't get it why people would still claim they are Satoshi where in the first place, no one believed to the people who claim it first. What do they get from wasting time and effort trying to make evidence when no one's believing them.
