Really glad seeing this news.
This is a very welcome update for cryptocurrency community.
Hopefully more and more country will follow Germany's lead.
This could be the ver start of worldwide usage and acceptance of crytocurrencies.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: June 18, 2018, 03:44:08 AM
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.

i believe that one day bitcoin or a in general will be widely accepted and will be used by many.
but i don't think it could happen in 5 years time.
for me it is just simply too short of a time for this matter to materialized.
there are still a lot of people who doesn't have knowledge about it.
and there are some that still has reservations against cryptocurrencies.
so until this situation wont be answered then i say we will have to wait for a longer period of time.

I wanted to participate in some bounty campaigns but whenever i fill in the participation form i do not receive any confirmation message that i have joined any bounty. So what can i do in order to participate please?

each projects have their own different way or rules in order to participate and qualify with their airdrops and bounty campaign.
all you have to do is make sure that you will be able to comply with all of the requirements they have asked for.
there is no shortcut for this - give them what they want and you will soon get what you are entitled for.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: June 16, 2018, 02:28:21 AM
Just ignore Warrent Buffet, this is the only thing he can do to lessen the amount of stockmarket people that shifts to crypto. I believe Warren is losing a huge money due to stock market crash.

P.S.: This guy has a tons of Bitcoins too, he just helping the crypto whales who wants to crash the market so they can buy a huge number of coin in the dip.

I agree with you.
There really is a huge possibility that rich people nowadays holds a big amount of cryptocurrencies but still advices other not to invest in it or even tell others to sell all that they have.
And one of the possible reason why they do this is for them to be able to jump on to the dips whenever there is a mass sell off.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new coin , PRiVCY . on: June 13, 2018, 01:28:20 PM

That is why i joined and giving it my support.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: June 13, 2018, 06:07:38 AM
HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

Good day to all of you guys I am EdsnowAngel a programmer and a bit security tester in different platforms. Now I heard to my friends a lot of concerns saying "please help me my bitcoin wallet was hacked!!"
Ok ok first thing first when your bitcoin wallet gets compromised then your funds was send in different wallet then it is irreversible meaning no return of funds!! so I wanna tell everyone how to protect your bitcoin wallet from such kind of situation.

1st: Protect your GMAIL or EMAIL ACCOUNT

We all know we use GMAIL as our email provider for such accounts like blockchain then we can recover and approve login with email in some wallets, now when your email account was targeted and get compromised then say goodbye to your bitcoin. To secure your bitcoin wallet(ex: blockchain or other) go to your google account settings. and then turn on the 2FA(2nd factor authentication) here is the guide on how to do it: STEP BY STEP GUIDE

2nd: Use your own DEVICE or COMPUTER/PHONE

It's a very bad idea to use someones device(ex:from friend) to make a transaction in your bitcoin wallet why? because first you don't know what is the capability of that person regarding that matters and you don't know if that phone has a lot of malwares and spywares. So we cannot say that you are safe using someones device to make transactions.

3rd: Always backup you PK's or PRIVATE KEYS

This is the most important thing to remember for everyone using your ETH or BTC wallet without backing up your Private keys then you can't recover you wallet in case you forgot your wallet.PK's are very important but there are thing you should do first. Make sure you store your PK backup somewhere that you only know and not from your computer because there are some spyware that might inside of your computer that can steal that file so make sure you back it up print in a paper and hide it to the place where you only know.

4th: Don't open links from malicious emails

This method was called email phishing where an attacker will send the same email in thousands of random users once the victim will click the link in that email then his or her device was compromised to avoid this please do not click the links included in the email immediately please always have time to check who is the sender of that email and if that email is came from the site where it supposed to came from.

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

6th: Do not login on Suspicious links

This method is called PHISHING where an attacker  will send you a link to login with your bitcoin wallet luring you with the legitimate site example is:
the real site is: https://www.blockchain.info/
the fake site is: http://www.blockchain.ga/

then once you login to the fake site then the hacker or attacker will have now your credentials. Please always check for the green lock on the url bar and the word HTTPS in the link.

so this are some of the way to stop hackers to hack your bitcoin or crypto wallet. If you have other information then you can comment it down and lets help others.

Very informative post.
Every must always remember that there is no one to be blame if he/she loses cryptocurrency assets.
We are the ones incharge and responsible for safekeeping it therefore we must do anything neccessary in order to prevent our assets from being hacked
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Blockchain Survive Without Bitcoin on: June 13, 2018, 05:15:29 AM

Blockchain Technology was driven to fame by its application on Bitcoin Gold due to its encryption that has been considered hacker proof. Bitcoin has been used as a reference to its success, providing a secure network for users.

The question however is, can blockchain succeed without bitcoin?

Bitcoin uses blockchain technology therefore eventhough one of the earliest user of blockchain is bitcoin it will still survive without it.
Bitcoin may really ve popular but we cant deny the fact that more and more projects are coming out that has a lot of potential in it.
People will surely see the benefit of this and may be the very reason why they join cryptocurrency.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocurrencies will crash to zero on: June 12, 2018, 04:06:58 AM
As quoted from CNBC there is a cryptocurrency will be zero.

What do you think ?

From :

https://www. cnbc. com/2018/02/07/most-cryptocurrencies-will-crash-to-zero-goldman-sachs-says.html

There could be a possibility for this to happen but i dont think it will happen due to the fact that more and more people are now looking for ways to invest money aside from the conventional way.
And one of the best way to do it is thru cryptocurrency tberefore people will surely be coming in.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2018, 03:33:55 AM
Calling someone fools simply because they invested in bitcoin is inappropriate.
There may be people who have lost most of their investement because of their decisions that where based on their perception only.
I do believe that in order to gain more and avoid losing in cryptocurrency investors must first learn ways and means of doing what is proper.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things you should know before investing in bitcoin on: June 12, 2018, 01:34:41 AM
Things you should know before investing in bitcoin

What everyone wants is to have a stable job and get good savings, the best option is to work the money to get more income for the future and thus have a better quality of life and what better to invest in bitcoin but before you should know certain things about This cryptocurrency.

it is not regulated: there is no entity that regulates and monitors this type of investment. So you should be aware that if you lose your money, nobody will answer

Bitcoin is a high-risk investment: people should know that the level of risk is very high, due to volatility and inability to predict its price. "

Do not get into debt to buy cryptocurrencies: this really should not be done with this or with another investment, if you are going to work your money with extra money you got.

Do not invest more than you are willing to lose: "it is recommended that you do not invest your savings in this currency; on the contrary, invest 1% of your assets, something that you are really willing to lose".

Use reliable pages: use safe sites to navigate and also only use reliable devices such as your cell phone, your computer and your home's wireless network. Never use public networks neither to make investments nor for any type of financial consultation.

These are good points.
Another important factor for newbies to take note before entering to the world of cryptocurrwncy is they must first be able to expand their knowledge about it.
As much as possible conduct your own reasearch and do not base your decision making on a few source alone.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: June 12, 2018, 01:27:32 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

I dont think this kind 9f system will ever materialize.
First of all bitcoon was created for the purpose of anonymity and it will be totally impossible for a depositor to leave his/her bitcoin on a bank without leaving any details about their identity.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The effect of altcoin on bitcoin? on: June 05, 2018, 06:48:39 AM
Since the advent of bitcoin in 2009 led to cryptocurenccy experts competing to make another new coin like bitcoin, this is ALTCoin, where ALTCoin moves at the rate of bitcoin, most people use ALTCoin as the fastest way to collect bitcoin , because the rate or rate is often very promising against bitcoin, began the emergence of many ALTCoin make some coin is just a boom but also many investors and the various types.
What is the effect of increasing the amount of altcoin on bitcoin?

for me the emergence of altcoin may have indeed resulted to a lot of factors concerning bitcoin.
there may be instances that this have cause negative effect to bitcoin.
but for me overall it has created a more positive effect since they have been the also a factor in promoting cryptocurrency.
let us remember that bitcoin was not created to cater all the needs of people with different purposes upon using cryptocurrency.
through this altcoins more and more people are getting to know bitcoin.
i am just hopeful that time will come that we will be able to totally eradicate altcoin project whose main intentions are just to scam people of their own money.

133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 27, 2017, 07:10:32 AM
I wont call it as greed...
It is their coins afterall,  meaning they can do anything they want with it.
It may not be that beneficial for the entire crypto community since it will create a rise in price due to lesser circulating supply. But for a lot of hodlers out there this what they want to achive. The saying that: we cannot please everyone come into place with this.
134  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano ang PoS coin? on: November 27, 2017, 06:57:46 AM
Proof-of-stake (PoS) is a type of algorithm by which a cryptocurrency blockchain network aims to achieve distributed consensus. In PoS-based cryptocurrencies the creator of the next block is chosen via various combinations of random selection and wealth or age (i.e. the stake). In contrast, the algorithm of proof-of-work (PoW) based cryptocurrencies (such as bitcoin) rewards participants who solve complicated cryptographical puzzles in order to validate transactions and create new blocks

Lol....
Next time let us give credit to the source or better use a link na lang sa susunod.
To the OP...
But gusto ko rin maireiterate na there are questions na mas madaling masasagot if we will go directly kay uncle google or sa youtube.
A lot of information is out in the web na about cryptocurrency.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 06:27:04 AM
Let us always remember that our wallets will be only as protected depending on how much security we are giving into it.
Therefore no one can really be blamed if we lost it.
.
That is why we have to avoid any sites that we suspect as phishing sites,  as much as possible we must avoid centalized wallets,  the safety of our private key must be of utmost concern,  and etc.
This are just few of the things we needed to pay attention with.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: November 27, 2017, 05:54:24 AM
For me the major factor before something can called as money it must first be accepted or used as a medium of exchange for goods and services by a number of people. As of now bitcoin may already be used as this but not yet worlwide and there is not yet that much of a shop or store that accepts it yet.  So for me before i will call bitcoin as money it must first surpass the situation i stated above.  As of now i prefer to call bitcoin as currency.
137  Economy / Speculation / Re: why this pump ?? on: November 27, 2017, 05:45:45 AM
I dont believe that bitcoins rise this recent days will be attributed to fork.
First of all because i havent heard of any upcoming fork yet.
Then it is not only bitcoins value is rising.  But altcoins as well. Therefore i believed this is because of the new investors/users coming to put some money in cryptocurrency.  We may now be coming near to the day wherein cryptocurrency will be widely accepted already worldwide.
138  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: November 27, 2017, 05:03:53 AM
Using Blockchain wallet to keep my Bitcoin. This wallet safer and simple to use compared to others.
I only used coins.ph..i think this is the only wallet available in philippines...And for me coins.ph is easy to used..
I am from philippines too.
Indeed coins.ph is easy to use.
But you must also remember that coins.ph is a centralized form of bitcoin wallet. And if you really wanted your coin to be more secured then it will be better if you have other wallets aside from it. There are so many you can use,  but i will recommend decentralized one and a desktop wallet.
139  Local / Pilipinas / Re: it is posible to hit $10k si bitcoin bago mag 2018? on: November 27, 2017, 04:15:25 AM
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: November 27, 2017, 03:59:01 AM
For me investing or engaging in bitcoin wont matter if you are a newbie or an old timer. As long as you know what you are doing then so be it.  That is why it is absolutely necessary to research first before spending anything with bitcoin.  Remember that regrets are always experienced in the last part of your journey,  therefore beforw reaching it you must be able to prepare yourself first.
