121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February and March? on: January 25, 2018, 11:22:53 AM
Well these are all great ICOs and coins that have good future plans, there is one i'm keeping my eye on closely on the WAVE platform "LWC"

I think the idea is sound and they have a great team so its deffo got legs, check it out www.longwaitcoin.co.uk feedback would be great.

Cheers
Dave

"*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A REAL PROJECT, LW COINS HAVE NO VALUE, WE DO ACCEPT ANY DONATIONS TO HELP US START THIS PROJECT THOUGH…
Errr what did we just say…? IT’S NOT REAL"

This is from homepage bottom. What does this mean?
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO would you suggest for February? on: January 24, 2018, 01:26:22 PM
My top 4 for February are

1. Celcius.network - This type of project do have a future. We've seen relative success of ethlend and Celcius is way better.

2. Tutellus.io - It's already a successful business model since 2013 and now is going tokenized for global reach.

3. WePower.network - They are a serious team with serious influence in European energy market.

4. Experty.io - They are expert of what they are doing. Though I still didn't get what they are doing, they are getting a huge attention.

Seems like your top contains only 1 promising project.

1 — one more peer-to-peer platform with cashback. All peer-to-peer services are highly vulnerable for manipulation. Let me know if Celcius' business model prevents collapse when too many people borrowed money and won't get it back
2 — good idea, real market problem. However, huge pre-sale discount
3 — this one seems like really good one
4 — overadvertised and perhaps aimed to solve not existing problem.

ok, thanks for your feedback, I totally agree. What projects would you recommend?

I actually won't recommend to participate in any ICO if you want to earn money. ICO just not about it. If you want to earn money in crypto economy, buy cryptocurrencies and learn trading

most of the ICO are scam even if they have good advisors and working prototype. And honest team. Just look what happened with pre-paid plastic cards. Just 1 move by Visa and few well-funded startups are dead

what startups are you talking about?

I guess it's about TenX, Wirex, Xapo, Bitwala, Cryptopay and many others. Really huge impact.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most unobvious and fundamental cases of blockchain application? on: January 24, 2018, 12:27:40 PM
Stop music piracy. Whenever you play music you would get it verified by the blockchain to ensure it was legit. So when you buy music the song would come with a valid blockchain contract that the player would need to check. Obviously will need new player software that communicates with the Internet.

Agree, this area can be nicely upgraded with blockchain. Do you know any good projects on it?

In my opinion, real estate is another unobvious area. Take a look at https://www.ubitquity.io/ for example. Not sure it's a good project, just illustration of what I mean
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most unobvious and fundamental cases of blockchain application? on: January 24, 2018, 10:37:25 AM
you might take a look at car vertical they want to solve car fraud using blockchain most used cars mileage are tempered with.
Also look at cargox they want to solve problem in bill of landing making it easier
Look at naviaddress they term to build a digital address. imagine you having your address as just number?

Bill of Lading, not landing dude. Anyway I don't see any problems with any bills on the market. Do you?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most unobvious and fundamental cases of blockchain application? on: January 24, 2018, 10:36:24 AM
Let's try to find some really interesting projects mates! No betting, no shopping, no peer-to-peer marketplace doing something, no anycoins. I want to learn about and invest in some really disruptive projects. Projects aimed to change some area fundamentally, not just to launch another service. Real changes on the market only.

Doesn't matter ICO finished or not already.

Bubbletone, WePower. What do you think?

I agree Bubbletone is aimed to make a significant change in Telecom industry. Take a look at Crypterium and Envion also
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 24, 2018, 10:33:12 AM
I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!

Both platforms are powerfull and secure. I would prefer the one which is just works faster. As I know, it's Waves.

Good move guys. Why do you think Qlink is a good one?

Good concept and fast fundraising. What do you think about it?

Qlink seems unfocused. It mixes several different services in one: Wi-Fi; sponsored traffic; new cryptocurrency. In my opinion if you solve 3 problems with one service, you won't solve any. 1 service for 1 problem.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5k to invest in crypto . on: January 23, 2018, 10:38:14 AM
hey guys , i have 5k to invest , i dont know which coins or token should i invest in , i think i missed the party , because most of the coins price is too high right now , what do you guys think , iam planing to hold untill mid 2019 , i want to get profit like 500k , i know its big number , but i heard alotta ppl did that b4 , thank you .

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICOs you suggest for November on: November 12, 2017, 10:37:58 PM
I like the project Qchain. It already have a working product and it is simple to use.

 https://medium.com/the-qchain-blog/bighorn-alpha-release-qchains-advertising-app-demo-is-here-29675ee43591

There is just alpha, it is not working product yet, it's a working prototype. However I agree the project tries to solve an existing problem
