what do you guys like that's under 50 cents
I would look on low market caps instead. Or find some recent ICO who did not even make it onto CMC so far. You never know what you might find. As an example check on Elementh, an EOS fork that is sitting at a mcap of I dunno 100K?

It's better to earn real tokens, not fake ones as most of these ICO's are scams and they promise in any method to scam people. I joined so many Airdrops, bounties, but only 2 to 3 paid me and they were in less price. I wasted my time by promoting them on Social media sites. I suggest you to discover much, but after all these also they don't pay anything for us.
On the upside more people will be discouraged to participate in bounties. If you simply continue in average you will get more tokens. Admittedly chance is higher to fall for scams now but this should still be worthwhile to do in the long run. When we go back into positive market you might find out that some of those project you were promoting start moving.

I thought it was a good deal to buy Cardano at $0.098 price, turns out I'm in a 25% loss right now. At some point the shorters should stop shorting and the weak hands should be gone right? It looks like the massive sell offs will continue for a while. The drop is now equal or bigger than 2013 one in with regards to duration and % loss. The chartists say battle for next direction will be when number of trendlines cross in the are of 6K for BTC. I remain bullish as we are looking at a massive loss and besides the new big investors waiting to get in there is an increasing amount of people, who have tethered and are waiting to get back in cheaper. So Cardano just keep it.

I feel keeping our coins in exchanges, mininize the risk of loosing our coins to wallet hackers.
Best to get a hardware wallet. Of the exchanges I would only leave any coins or tokens on Binance and Cobinhood. Kraken supposedly also very good safety but I hardly use it.

keep money in bitcoin) in half a year will make a minimum of x2. I think it will grow. He must return to his last year's level. About participation in ICO. I do not think that this is a good idea good luck to you! Put 500 each in Ethereum and Neo and keep the other 1000 as cash reserve in case we get an additional dip. Technical analysis says btc 5 to 5.5K. Common sense based on total market cap and people that have tethered or cashed out is for me that btc not going under 6K USD. But wont hurt you to keep 50% cash and observe first.

My opinion, I think ethereum will still see some good days, because even with the drastic price fall, ETH still maintain the number 2 spot in coinmarketcap, that is impressive and that means the volume and the usage is still there, so my conclusion is ethereum will sure come back to outstanding price
Only had limited fiat money to move in but did so yesterday. Might be a few days early but it is impossible always to buy at rock bottom. Have used this cheap ETH to lower my average price on one of the recent ICO. Planning to do the same for a few others.

Hello guys, what do you think about today’s situation with ETH? Will ETH recover, or soon altcoin number 1 is going to disappear?
On what basis should it disappear? There is a large developer community and first mover advantage on a lot of topics. Not like Holochain will just waltz in and take everything over from Ethereum.

Looking at the charts it still seems likely BTC will still fall well below 6000. Are you optimistics for a turn around in perhaps October or November?
So much money on the fence I have colleagues good at technical analysis who say btc might fall to 5K. Hard to believe for me looking at low market cap and large number of people who have started tethering a couple of months ago. Then there is a large number of projects clearly valued under what they are holding in Tether or even making money. Hacken has announced revenues in Q3 were double what they were in Q2...They will do first token burn start of Q4.

what happened until the movement continued to fall deeper? all panic saw it, many thought this was the end of crypto, try something that could make this atmosphere calm
The drop is very similar to 2013 in many ways and we all know what happended after. Well I only know from reading up on it as 2013 was like the stone age of crypto for me who got started a little over a year ago. If the market recovers you can hold stuff like Ethereum, Litecoin, Iota, Neo, Ontology...or you can have a very close look on low caps under 2 million who got hammered in the bear market. Bridge, Narrative, Bigbom (alpha started today) and countless others like Pareto Consensus Cindicator Signals... plenty to look at not to forget cobinhood or huobi or projects like Holochain, that is really holding up well in this market

A friend of mine recently joined a bounty project and wore their signature for good four month making 15+ post every week and accumulating his require stake for the week for the entire bounty project. Just at the close of the last week of the bounty campaign he found out that the project was a scam. Ever since then, he feels very awful and despairs bounty projects. Today, i was hoping you could share your feelings about your experience with scam bounty projects. You might want to leave behind words of motivation for my buddy to ginger him back into the business of bounty work.
There is plenty of scam out there. Worthless tokens trading on Idex. Airdrops that start on bitcointalk and then get moved to discord and a sale of masternodes, 10000 ETH giveaway on Twitter, fake selling of bitcointalk accounts... The list is endless. Nothing wrong with bounties but DYOR before you invest your time.

YES,NEO is a good coin for investment and has great potential to increase high, even will surpass Ether sooner.Currently, this is a good time to buy because the market still at low.
I am a big Neo fan but from a China perspective on leading projects with Ontology another strong project has arrived. If developers start moving from Neo to Ontology Neo might get into some trouble.

ETH goes down to $174, Do you have any plan for this? I've just bought and wait to $1000 Yes Ethereum turning into a very interesting bet at the moment. Also a very bullish sign that a lot of people start shouting "Ethereum is dead". Only shows they do not have a clue. There is nothing to replace Ethereum right now and it still has the first mover advantage on a lot of things. Cannot imagine it going lower than 150 USD.

Hello...Guys. Two Ongoing ICO's named Kakushin Ecosystem and Ubex are more popular in crypto world. I want to ask what's the status from this 2 ICO's?
Did not really look into those. The market for ICO is so slow that many now prefer to wait for the initial listing. I had the chance to buy NEX and some say there is a lot of OTC trading right now with high volume. That also means some people who got their NEX tokens first now want to get rid of them ahead of first listing. Moneytoken good example. Now much cheaper to buy than at time of ICO.

People what do you think about investment in russian icos?
I dont mind Russian ICOs even though Elementh seem to be out of their depth with regards to ICO. Seems they want to wait for their native coin . As if exchange listings are getting easier with waiting. My biggest losses are all related to US based ICO so I have turned a lot more sceptical in that direction. There is quite a few it seems who like the ICO money but are not that interested in the blockchain space. Some well raised in the middle of the bear market like neo based narrative or Bridge Protocol who are substantilly below ICO price but I still hold some hope that they will deliver. Same in a way for datawallet. Vezt looks pretty much like a cash grab. EVC I am actually more bullish or Kairos.

Very interesting to see the reactions to the newly introduced concept of merit as an additional indicator of account maturity and quality beyond just pure number of posts / activity. While this was introduced to increase post quality it has of course created a counter movement and a market place for "trading" merit - for money. So this is just a reminder for everyone that the introduction of merit is a GOOD thing because it will help improve the quality of this forum for everybody.
"Trading" merit will undermine this and render it eventually useless.
Keep contributing!
I do understand the idea behind the merit system. I think it is a good idea to try to protect the quality of posts. Still for new members it is very restrictive even if they are active and posting quality content. What gives a forum rank value? It is the possibility to participate in signature bounties. It has become easier to build a following on twitter then to get to the next rank in the forum. This has triggered a shift of activity from bitcointalk to facebook or twitter and is also showing in the % that campaigns distribute to the different forms of bounties. Twitter or even translations are getting more favored opposite to signatures recently. For that reason I hope a way will be found, to make the whole system a little more balanced, especially for completely new users. I am also wondering. With my full member account I am somewhere in the middle of the park. I saw some articles where I would have liked to send some merit for but was not able to do so? My initial impression was, that you get some sendable merit on a regular basis. What is the mechanism behind that?

I think we all realised lately the difficulty of picking those few ICOs, which are listed on exchanges with a ‘higher than ICO price’.
Heard the rumors, how easily ICOs can buy reviews on the bigger Rating sites, and for that reason, it may be better not to trust those sites too much.
But still love ICOs, and lately I started to examine the activity of crypto influencers, researchers. Discovered the vogue of spreadsheets, a popular form they share their (hopefully) professional, and honest opinion about the actual projects. I have put much effort to find the best ones, and would like to share my experience with you guys, so it may help you too, making better decisions, while investing in ICOs:
| Name | Main social media | Followers | Link | ICOs analysed | Activity | 1. | Top 7 ICO | Twitter, Youtube | 22,2K | | ? | Influencer + spreadsheet The most popular site of those, showing other Influencer scores too | 2. | Ian Balina | Twitter | 152K | | ? | The father of all spreadsheets. (Current version not available online at the moment!) | 3. | CrushCrypto | Youtube, Twitter | 30K | | ? | TOP 7 ICO influencer, youtuber + website with detailed ICO reviews | 4. | ICO reports | Telegram | 21,4K | | ~ 60 | TOP 7 ICO influencer + spreadsheet | 5. | OhHeyMatty | Youtube, Telegram | 15,5K | | ~ 20 | TOP 7 ICO influencer, youtuber + spreadsheet | 6. | Mandy | Telegram, Twitter | 10,2K | | ~ 30 | TOP 7 ICO influencer + spreadsheet | 7. | Diddy Carter | Telegram, Discord | 8,8K | | ~ 40 | TOP 7 ICO influencer + spreadsheet | 8. | Bulk | Youtube, Telegram | 8,1K | | ~ 15 | TOP 7 ICO influencer, youtuber + spreadsheet | 9. | Sergio | Youtube, Telegram | 7,2K | | ~ 25 | TOP 7 ICO influencer, youtuber + spreadsheet | 10. | Wolf Crypto | Telegram, Twitter | 4,2K | | ~ 20 | TOP 7 ICO influencer + website | 11. | Lendex0 | Twitter, Telegram | 3K | | ~ 50 | TOP 7 ICO influencer + spreadsheet | 12. | Tom H. Hope you found this list useful. Now I would like you to share your opinion. Do you also find these spreadsheets, and websites useful, or is there a better way of judging the ICOs?
Which researchers you trust the most, and who are the ones you may be aware of something negative?
Is there any nice spreadsheet / website I may have missed? Thanks for that! If I had any sendable merit I would send you some for that. This is a good list. I especially like the Top 7 overview as it regularly gets updated with changes. Factoring the opinion makers will increase probability that you are not looking at an instant 60%+ loss. Hello.
do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?
It is always a good time to buy Ethereum if you want to use it to buy into a project traded in Ethereum. For the current price there was massive sales by ICO who panicked as they need fiat to get their projects going. The price might go further down but the current price is already significantly lower than the first Ethereum I bought myself. The price at that time was like 300 USD. I always look at the market cap and 200 bil for total market and 6k for BTC seems to be the bottom for me.

Could Ripple XRP replace bitcoin before it is widely accepted? If ripple allows users to send money instantly and almost fee free, with a pretty and easy to use UI. Plenty of money to burn on advertising and reputation building. Business and Financial connections likely to get them accepted on large merchant sites. Why would the average person have any interest in Bitcoin?
More important could Ripple become controlled by business or government?
I'm not suggesting any of this is fact. Just wanna hear the opinions of people that actually know stuff.
I would not invest in Ripple as it is not decentralised, not open and there is no proof of work. Also supply could increase anytime. Also does the token not have a clear utility. If you can explain the utility please do so. Bitcoin will remain the elefant in the room. What I do not like about Bitcoin is the concentration of more than 90% of Bitcoin with the top 4 holders.

There many potential coins. My opinion--- 1. Ethereum 2. EOS 3. DIW 4. ADA 5. XRM 6. IOTA
For people new to the space that list might really be a good starting point. This is a list of more established projects although "established" is relative in crypto. You might also want to check on the blocklattice projects like Nano and Dexon. A good exchange buy at the moment might be Cobinhood.
