121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token bounty must hold or sell? on: May 07, 2018, 12:22:12 AM
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty
You have a point but I think it is a case by case basis. You have to analyze if the token you receive has a great potential in the market.  If you found out that many investors are willing to buy more tokens even the ICO ends, it is better to hold because it has a great potential.  On the other hand, if it is not, it is better to sell. I said so because I've experienced holding bounty tokens I received and invest it but unfortunately, its price continues to dump afterward.  I regret holding my tokens because the price is more valuable when I first received it compared to its market value now.  On the other hand, I also received tokens that  I exchange in the market after receiving and after a week, its price suddenly increases.  I regret exchanging it.  If I just hold it for much longer, Its value now got doubled.  From that experience, I conclude that it depends upon the token you received from ICO.  You have to think analytically and analyze the market carefully.  So, you will not regret if you hold or sell your token possessions.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin 10.000$!!!! What's Next? on: May 04, 2018, 08:25:22 AM
Hope bitcoin hit again at ten thousand dollars (10,000 USD). Nowadays the value of bitcoin is continue rising and for the fast seven (7) days the value of bitcoin hit to almost five percent (5%) and it is constantly happen every week. Possible the value of bitcoin hit to more than ten thousand dollars (10,000 USD) this month of May because of good price progress of bitcoin in the market cap. With the past 24 hours the value of bitcoin progress or increase is always hitting above five percent (5%) and for me, it is a good price recovery or price increase every 24 hours. Meaning if you followed this trend the value of bitcoin is easily hit to the highest price of it this Month of May.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: May 04, 2018, 06:53:36 AM
There are many reason why people are still buying and invest money with bitcoin. First, they've seen that have potential in bitcoin market and it will provide to them to generate good income or give huge profit from their investment in the future. Second is bitcoin price bubbled, nowadays the value of bitcoin is simultaneously grow in the market because holders are continue keeping their bitcoin until hit to maximum higher price of it. Through holding of bitcoin possession in long period of time it resulting for price bubble in the market because of limited demand. Another reason is bitcoin give an assurance to the future of holders and users of it and they seen that bitcoin give security in the future of bitcoin holder or user through holding it.

Thus, this is some reason why people are continue buying and holding bitcoin.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Prices will some day fluctuate less? on: May 04, 2018, 02:18:34 AM
Do you think that someday the prices for Bitcoin will fluctuate less and ppl will be able to use more as a currency, and not only as a form of investment?
The bitcoin price fluctuate is normal, it is because some investors or holder sell thier possession for some insestence but the good thing in bitcoin it will recover easy once the value of it turn to red. Nowadays the value of bitcoin is constantly recover and it is continue rising in the market cap and holding it for long period of time it will sure you give you a good return. Fluctuate of bitcoin price is normal and once it happen it is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin in low price.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: May 03, 2018, 10:53:32 AM
To all parents and soon to be parents out there,

Plan for your children or future children by saving Bitcoin for them. Buying them bit by bit would be a great investment for the future of your kids. I am saying that you must have a new wallet for your kids so that when they come at the right age, you can give them that wallet and imagine how bright their future will be. You can hold bitcoin for their education, life plans, or whatever you think of.

I believe that if you start storing bitcoin for them now, a bright future is ahead of them  Wink
I definitely agree with you.  When I engage in cryptocurrency, I consider bitcoin as a good form of longtime investment.  So, I decided to keep my bitcoins and give it to my daughter when she reaches 18.  I know that this is the best gift I can ever give to her.  Bitcoin is greater than the time deposit, educational/insurance/life plan that we can give to our child/children.  The time deposit is good but your money will not grow as much as what bitcoin might exponentially grow.  The life plan is good but it has a certain coverage and limitation unlike in bitcoin that goes beyond and surpass anybody's expectation.

So, I definitely agree with you that storing bitcoin now will give our child/children a brighter future ahead of them.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Strategy on: May 03, 2018, 10:42:17 AM
Greetings! I am planning to invest $5,000 in cryptocurrency but I do not know how to invest. And where should I invest? - in Bitcoin, in alternate cryptocurrency, or in ICO? I’m asking for an investment strategy for professional traders or investors out there.
There is a saying " do not put all your eggs in a single basket".  This is also applicable if you want to invest.  It is better to divide your investment into bitcoin, altcoin, and ICO.  The percentage depends upon you but I suggest to make more investment in bitcoin.  This is because all other cryptocurrency is based in bitcoin.  In altcoin, you can consider choosing ether.  This is because all other tokens are based on ethereum as platform and its fuel is ether.  I consider it also as the best altcoin.

Investing in ICO is also a good idea because your investment will surely exponentially grow after the project became successful.  But investing in an ICO is very risky.  This is because there are the lot of menu of ICO to choose from and identifying which is legitimate and a scam is a difficult challenge.  So, for a newbie in investment, I suggest to try first investing in bitcoin and altcoin than ICO.  Gather first more knowledge about whose the most trustworthy developers and the like.  Once you already familiar with different ICOs, you can also consider investing on that.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: May 03, 2018, 10:19:57 AM
There are Bitcoin, and also there are Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold and B2X that we use it as an altcoin, but do we still need other altcoins? as i knew in the forum on the altcoin section there are much announcement about new altcoins almost everyday. do we still need that altcoins?
I think, we still need altcoin.  Increasing variety of coins means great competition in the market so, they will find ways to more improve their coins and more usable as well. Meaning, it is important for innovation and improvement of coins.

With a variety of coins, investors have the opportunity to choose which coins they want to invest with.  It is important so, there will be no room for monopoly.  Unfortunately, some of the available coins in the market are based on ethereum and bitcoin so, its price is still based on bitcoin price.  When the bitcoin price inflates, they follow and when the bitcoin price deflates, they follow as well.

Altcoin/tokens are also important for the creation of new project aided with technology to get funds to make their project possible and feasible.

128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a good investment? on: May 03, 2018, 06:12:15 AM
Even some people already doubt about the stability of bitcoin in the market because of the fluctuating price for the past months, I still believe that bitcoin is a good investment.  I am a great believer in bitcoin because I truly understand its volatility nature.  I know that even how long bitcoin suffers from red days, still it has the capability to recover because if you trace the history, it already happened before but on the last quarter of 2017, bitcoin reaches value beyond our expectation.  I still believe that it has the tendency to surpass that value it just a matter of time.  So, it is still a good investment.

I also believe that bitcoin is the currency of the future.  When that time comes, for sure, those who invest now will be benefitted from it.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: May 02, 2018, 10:58:10 AM
With mainstream media still taking an interest in Bitcoin, do you think we have lost perspective of what is important, and are there to much focus on price? or do you think we will find back to the possibility of bitcoin and blockchain?
For inspiration i included my article on the matter
https://cryptoms.online/2018/01/30/is-bitcoin-too-complicated-for-ordinary-folks/

I agree with you that it is not so complicated but it is distant from what ordinary people think it is.  It is hard to understand if people do not know the concept of money and how a certain "currency" became valuable. It became more complicated if the community does not even know or have a little understanding of technology.   It is a big issue for some people who do not even know how blockchain technology brings a great impact and contribution to the advancement of technology.

Another thing that makes it complicated are those people who have little understanding about cryptocurrency who invest on it just because other people invested on it and get profit from their investment.  So they consider it as mere "asset" where they can get sudden get income once they invest in it.  This is very crucial without a proper understanding of bitcoin and blockchain technology, they might lose their investment and might give negative impact to other people that make them think that bitcoin is really too complicated.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 02, 2018, 10:38:10 AM
Crypto world is in crysis now and it's not only due to red market but also because of tons of scam ICOs. And that pisses a lot of bounty hunters off cause scam ICOs produce useless unworthy tokens! People waste sometimes several months to participatein bounty and either get no tokens or get shitcoins.

It's so hard now to find a good bounty. eCoinomic.net platform is running one now and it looks pretty solid and trustworthy, they also predict a balanced growth for CNC token https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2897866.msg29799978#msg29799978

But how do you guys know if your bounty is trustable? Why do you personally trust bounty you're participating in right now?
Even there is a lot of scam bounty campaigns, I still believe that joining bounty campaign is still worthy and a good source of income. It is just a matter of proper analyzing of project white paper and the feasibility of the project proposal.  I also consider and know that the bounty is trustworthy if it is being managed by trusted bounty managers and whenever I ask some queries about the project, it gave time to answer it.  If there is a screening of participants and the token distribution is not too high nor too low (fair-enough) then, I consider it good campaign.  I also look if the project goes accordingly to its timeline or milestone/roadmap.  Those are some signs that the bounty is trustworthy and good bounty campaign.

131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: May 01, 2018, 03:55:01 AM
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol
I understand your sympathy but do not lose hope. I still believe that  winners never give up.  I myself also experienced to join bounty campaign and get nothing from it. So, I decided to just join signature campaigns.   But the stories of my friends and other bitcoiners inspired me on how they earn a lot from joining from bounties that motivated me to try bounty again.  Some of them also have a bad experience but they never give up and lose hope.  Now, they are enjoying their income from bounties. Just continue what you are doing and I believe you will be benefitted from it at the end.   You can also read this link and be inspired also.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3457930.msg35988786#msg35988786.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: May 01, 2018, 03:11:06 AM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin
There are different reasons why developers created their own coins but I think the bottom line is the same- to earn money.   Basically, coins/tokens are created to raise funds for their projects.  Their project will then introduce to the market together with Initial Coin Offering (ICO).   Investors then analyze their project and if they found it feasible they will invest in it.  If they gather enough funds and the ICO became successful, then the coins will be available in the market.  Through ICO, they can start the project even they do not have enough capital where they can use the funds they get from the investors who buy their tokens.

Even some people think that it is just a waste of time for creating different coins, it is essential for project developers for fundraising purpose and afterward, it can also play a great role after the project successfully established where their coins can be used in the operation of their project.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My bounty story (5.99eth) on: May 01, 2018, 01:53:27 AM
Dear newbies, i wanted to inspire you about my bounty experince in signature campaign. Im just a rank member, i join a lot of sig bounty but im always dissapointed because almost of the bounty that i joined is always a failed project.

Until i met bountyhive.io , i used to join on their signature campaign which is cool cousins. That project became so successful which about to hit its hardcap. Then one day signature bounty ends Im so surprise for what i got on their bounty reward it gives me 22,612.5 cuz which like 5.99ETH its my first time to receive for that high ammount of reward and planning to hold that coin because it got a big potential.

Patience is the key if you believe on what you are doing then just continue it, even if you fail many times dont back down just believe that oneday crypto and bounty projects will give you instant jackpot! Just be patient like me :-)

I hope this could motivate and inspire you. Thank you for reading.
Wow, this is a very inspiring story.  This is a proof that those who patiently wait will succeed in the end.  I would like to extend my congratulations and your story really motivated me.  I have been joined bounty campaigns twice but unfortunately, I've received nothing.  The first time was when I was a Jr. Member in rank.  After the disappointment I got, I choose to join signature campaign instead.  But because of your story, it makes me consider to join bounty campaign again.  I just hope we meet the same end.

135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: April 30, 2018, 05:02:44 AM
I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now?
And thank you for ur help
I believe the best cryptocurrency for long time investment is bitcoin.  Its reputation in the market is incomparable and bitcoin name is already established throughout the years.

On the other hand, if you prefer an altcoin, you can choose ether.  It is the next good crypto next to bitcoin for long time investment.  With the presence of ethereum platform, ether will last long because many projects that are aided by blockchain technology became feasible because of it.   So, ether as its fuel will become more valuable in the future, therefore, it is also good for long time investment.

If you want to put some of your investment into a token, you can invest in IOS.  Unlike other tokens, IOS address the two most controversial problems associated with all other cryptocurrencies which are scalability and efficiency.   This token will surely became more valuable in the future so, it is good for long time investment as well.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When you try explain crypto to a non tech person! on: April 30, 2018, 01:56:36 AM
I love the looks i get when i try to explain crypto to a non tech person! How do you guys deal with situations like these?
Explaining crypto to a person with no or little background in technology is a great challenge considering that crypto is linked with technology.  I experience this when I explained crypto to my mother (she do not even know how to use computer or android phones).  The first step I did, I  explained the concept of money and how people recognize it as a valuable medium of a transaction even the truth is it does not have intrinsic value and it is mere paper with a picture.  Then, I explained the process of banking where people exchange their money for just a mere digital number.  Afterward, I compare a bank to cryptocurrency while I compared trading tokens to forex.  I know she might not understand everything about cryptocurrency but at least she already has an idea about it and I am happy that she supports my engagement in cryptocurrency.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basic precautions when doing KYC for ICOs on: April 30, 2018, 01:42:28 AM
I really hate KYC. I have to effectively give my id docs and pics to strangers and I might find it in the dark web anyday. The only answer I have found to this is introducing a watermark, barely visible or sometimes clearly visible, indicating the ICO and date. If it leaks, at least it could be determined from where.
I am not in favor also in the concept of KYC.  I comprehend that it is against the original concept of cryptocurrency anonymity.  We have to be very careful giving our personal information that might use against us in the future using our personal information and details.  But because this is a prerequisite of some ICO prior to receiving bounty participant payment, the participants are mandatorily required to follow. Other participants obediently submitted and follow the requirements while other created a false identification to protect their personal information.  I understand that the ICO is very objective upon requiring this procedure but they must also consider protecting the identity of their participants.  The best way we can only do is to be sure that the ICO asking for your KYC is a reputable group of trustworthy developers and personnel.

139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long Bitcoin can survive in cryptocurency industry ? on: April 27, 2018, 04:14:08 AM
Bitcoin will survive as long as people continue to support it through buying or as an investment. Also, as long as the community believes and support bitcoin it will last in cryptocurrency industry. We all know that bitcoin is the main currency in cryptocurrencies industry and I think once bitcoin did not survive some cryptos or altcoin will not able to survive too.`The survival of bitcoin depends on o the support of the community that holds and believe that capable of this coin. Bitcoin until now is still surviving because of investor and holders of it. As long as it continues bitcoin will survive in many years come.

To survive bitcoin for may years come let's continue to support it through buying as an investment and supporting within has a big return to us because bitcoin give an opportunity to everyone who supports on it to generate profit in the future.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: April 27, 2018, 12:53:11 AM
Temporary dips are very common in bull runs, that's the way the market works. After a big run there is always a small correction, and after that comes the next run. Don't be afraid and hodl your coins.
Yes, true that is always happen and sometimes that kind of scenario is a cycle for bitcoin price. The price dip of bitcoin is because the holders are panic they turn to sell all their possessions that cause of bulky supply of bitcoin versus the much lesser demand for it in the market. In this scenario, the price of bitcoin will turn to red and cause of much larger panic of bitcoin holder. But for me, this scenario is good opportunity to buy bitcoin because the value of it is the dip. Anyway, this is the other side of bitcoin price movement. Then, Holding of bitcoin has a good impact in the market cap because it causes of high demand versus less supply that intervenes to price rise. The longer to hold your coin the faster to recover its value in the market cap. That's why if you are coin holder don't dump your possession instead keep it as long as you can or need. Because holding of bitcoin is one of the good sides of price correction in the market.
