121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: November 27, 2017, 11:32:33 PM
Hello guys! I am planning on investing all my savings (12500$) in cryptocurrency, so I would really like to hear your opinion. My current plan is to split it in to 3 :
-50% bitcoin.
-25% ethereum.
-25% litecoin.

I am investing the money at the next dip.
Please post your opinion guys.

Edit: I should mention that this is for a longtherm hold, about 5-10 years

Thinking of you putting your every cent in crypto, It is very risky at all, for a simple reason that BTC, ETH and LTC and everything else in these is very unpredictable, and also susceptible to spams. You can invest only portion of it,just to be safe.
122  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bittcoin - for sale on: November 27, 2017, 11:26:28 PM
Hi have 1 bittCoin in my wallet would like to sell please email

hudsonriversimon@gmail.com

Kindest Regards Cool

To put it in simple words, you wanted someone to send you money first, how can you ever find someone to buy your bitcoin here. Sell it where it came from. Buying your BTC is very precarious or let me say high-risk and unpredictable, thus resulting to scamming someone new.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin $15000 on: November 27, 2017, 09:11:11 PM
we are waiting 15000$ above by ending of the this 2017,

I was just watching the value of bitcoin for a minute and it increases more by $8.46. It is not impossible for it to reach $15,000 before the year ends., so your waiting is worth it Grin
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this for real? I could be a millionaire? on: November 27, 2017, 02:47:21 PM
Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Wow! Having a bitcoin that amount if that would be me is like having a money faucet for life, just using the profit for your expenss will be enough. It may not be your biggest mistake, but, defenitely it's one of the mistake you will never forget.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: November 27, 2017, 02:35:50 PM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

I really don't think it can replace paper money,, especially in our place, it needs a very high technology for us to replace it, safest is it can coexist but never replace.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: November 27, 2017, 12:25:06 AM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh

I did the same, I put some amount every week, and I been doing it for two months now, I was surprised by the amount I have invested, doing nothing, yet its growing. Only me and my wife knows about it and I am sure it cannot be stolen for it has to send an authentication code to my email and mobile number.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you hold your coins? on: November 27, 2017, 12:08:42 AM
So i'm new to cryptocurrency, actually just started 2 days ago, was reading about cryptocurrency, and stumbled upon Neblio and decided to go for it.

Now i'm holding about 600$ worth of Neblio on Cryptopia, which i'm fairly certain it will reach at least 2x, but aiming at x4 early next year to be honest.

Anyway, i want to sit on the Neblio for a while, but i don't want to have it hostage on an Exchange, so what are the best and safer solutions, Desktop and Online to hold he currency?

Maybe, the option you have is to download wallet on your desktop, however, be safe and not try to send your private key Grin Grin

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: November 26, 2017, 11:41:49 PM
Is bitcoin still a good investment for newbies? Is it worth to pay almost $8200 for 1 BTC today?

Buying BTC in such a value can already be profitable, however, if you will be buying it for $8,200, it is not very practical because it is too high..wait for some time for BTC's value to descend, that time you can buy then.
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you still think BTC will never reach $50,000 ... on: November 26, 2017, 11:36:21 PM
... maybe it's time for you to reconsider it  Wink

Can never say if it will, but definitely if these path continues, it is not impossible to reach such value plus those past incident on Bcash should be avoided.

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: November 25, 2017, 12:40:00 AM
In my opinion, my full support is in it because etherium is still the best after bitcoin, it may have it flaws, however, its value alone compared to the others are higher, and maybe it is the most stable one.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: November 25, 2017, 12:36:06 AM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

I have read once according to the etherium developer that ICO especially etherium is not safe and it is unstable because it is just a experemental technology and it is still immature, so for me, it is not safe- Bitcoin is still the best choice.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How fast Bitcoin is spreading. on: November 25, 2017, 12:30:40 AM
So today one of my teachers came to me after school. She and some of her colleagues talked about ways that they can invest their money and save up (as teachers in South-Africa aren't really paid well) one of them then mentioned Bitcoins and how Cryptocurrencies are showing very high growth. Then some or other teacher mentioned that I have some knowledge about Bitcoin (still have no idea how they knew that) But anyway long story short- Tomorrow I am doing a presentation for all my school's staff +/- 50 people about Cryptocurrencies, and then possibly to the whole school.
Yeah, just some short story I thought I would share, about a practical example of how Bitcoin is reaching the masses.

Bitcoin is spreading really fast, why? who will not take it if it already even passes the price of an ounce of gold to its value. Every hour, its like a virus that spreads very fast through adverts and word of mouth..
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Cashout Crypto on: November 25, 2017, 12:25:50 AM
As being new to the crypto currency world. I like to know how do you cash you your money?

such as taking your crypto and taking it out into real money?

eg transfers to paypal?

etc. what methods suggested?

There are so many ways to cashout a crypto, the method I am using is the P2P (peer to peer) were you have to use oyur localbitcoins flatforms, you can already convert it to your currency with a very little charging fee, then send it to your bank account or any money express. That's what I have been using ever since I started earning.
If you have the guts and trust to someone you know, can do face to face.

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 22, 2017, 12:20:46 AM
I was following the bitcoin exchange flow chart, and for sometime it goes down, however, now, it is on the track again of going up. And I think it will continue to rise according to articles and speculation I have read online.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter campaign : Do i need to be at least Jr member ? on: November 22, 2017, 12:14:55 AM
Hi ,i have one question about bounties : For the twitter campaign, do i need to be at least Jr Member to apply ?

Bounty campaigns may also put their qualifications with regard to twitter campaigns. but, so far, almost all of the bounties let even newbies join them, as long as the rules are met especially the number of followers and are active social media user. Smiley
139  Other / Meta / Re: What if Me and My wife use Same Internet Connection Same IP address. on: November 22, 2017, 12:09:42 AM
Actually I have a doubt that me and my wife using the same internet connection in my home.

I think IP address will be the same. I want to know any technical issue in the signature campaign will raise if yes please advise for the solution.

Same IP address does not have any issue in these forum, it's the rules that apply. However, I have an experience that I was starting to make an account, the first time I log in, there was a message about paying some amount before I can enable posting, "posting is disabled, must pay an amount of....etc",but,  it was my first time signing up in these forum. Also, there was these message about IP that says like " IP address has been used maliciously", like that..
