121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risky move ? on: March 30, 2018, 08:02:18 PM
I frankly do not like tron for the reason that the CEO is shills it all the time. I saw a tweet of his day before yesterday where he was boosting that tron has been traded and has more volume than bitcoin in India and he claimed that tron would be bigger than btc. Its like he is living in a fantasy world.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy the Dip - again... on: March 30, 2018, 08:00:01 PM
The important think is to only buy the dip if you can afford to buy it with the money that you can literally burn. We could be headed for a long term bear season which would mean we might see bitcoin fall even under 3k, in which case there would be a lot of blood in alts also.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: March 27, 2018, 07:43:00 PM
There could possibly no right answer to this. Most of the OG's who have more than 50 or even 100 bitcoins had started with almost no more than 100 USD. But then they had timed the market right and actually got lucky. My advice is invest what you can afford to loose.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: March 27, 2018, 07:41:46 PM
Six months holding means you must have bought your alts in October 2017, so if you would have sold in January during the pump you could have atleast made 4 or 5x from what ever you are holding now in USD value. Holding works, only if you plan your exits right!
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: March 27, 2018, 07:40:11 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Although you might be right anticipating about the bear season which we might have already entered btw, but I disagree about the time. All the previous times we had bear, bitcoin and crypto was hidden from public view, however now its mainstream, so I anticipate a bear of no more than 6 months or an year.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance will settle in Malta and get access to FIATA!? on: March 26, 2018, 04:18:30 PM
The best thing that has happened to crypto in a long time is Binance. The way they have supported the community and thawed back any hacking attempts made on them, they have definitely won the trust of all traders using their platform. TBH this is the first time in my history of trading that I sleep peacefully even when my coins are on binance, thsi was not the case with bittrex and poloniex.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the perfect Cryptocurrency? on: March 26, 2018, 04:14:50 PM
You will find tons of shillers responding with their bags and claiming their coins to be the best out there. But the truth of the matter is that there is not such thing as a perfect crypto currency. Look at bitcoin, bitcoin cash is even challenging it. The only thing revolutionary that came out of this all saga is block-chain techniology.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: March 26, 2018, 04:08:25 PM
No matter how good the fundamentals of the coin are, if a coin goes more than 100% within 24 hours I absolutely sell them. A classic case of this has been Storm coin, it has already dipped about 50% from its ath after it went crazy just a couple of days ago.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: March 26, 2018, 04:06:29 PM
There is never a 'right" time to put your money into this. My strategy these days has been to sell all coins that are at resistance and only buy coins which make a breakout and put stop losses on them to save my positions.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best masternode to invest ? on: March 25, 2018, 11:10:32 AM
For me its zcoin, zcoins is probable the best privacy coin that is out there and comes with the added advance of having masternodes. Since you are looking for the cheapest ones out there, you may want to visit masternodes dot pro website and there you can find all the masternode coins and compare them.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: March 25, 2018, 11:08:14 AM
I think as of today we just need to wait and watch if the pre pump thing was the real deal or not. Storm took over everyone by surprise, had even more volume than ethereum. Every other alt followed somewhat is the footsteps of storm and had an atleast 10% pump, now it will be interesting to see what the next few days bring to us.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: March 23, 2018, 10:15:05 AM
To access your Tezos do you only need your private and public key that was in the PDF we got at the ICO? Trying to figure out how I'll access my tezzies at launch
Privkey and password
Yeah, private key and password both are  required to unlock the tezzies. Its so sad but I am sure many people did not even write down or remember the password that they created while buying tezos, wonder how much percentage of tokens would get lost because of this.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make crypto investment decisions on: March 23, 2018, 10:12:35 AM
It really varies on the situation. For example I did anticipate a dip in the market when bitcoin reached 20k and even my grandmother wanted to invest into crypto, so that is when I sold bitcoin. Along with fundamentals and TA one needs to keep an eye on the general opinion of the cummunity as whole to know when to sell and when to buy. I have be observing that almost everyone has been saying to buy the dip when bitcoin went to 7k recently, however I do not think that we have witnessed the real bear yet, which can make bitcoin to dip to under 3k, this is just my opinion.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: March 23, 2018, 10:08:59 AM
How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
Crypto is now out in the open and the dynamics of the game have changed. I think that this will be lat alt season which is upon us now. So this time I will be getting rid of all my short term coins and buying coins which I believe in long term, ethereum classic to name one.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sell your crypto! on: March 23, 2018, 10:07:28 AM
Says someone whose username is ethtothemoon, Wink
Its actually a great idea to sell in anticipation of markets going down because then you can also buy the dips along with the whales. Most of us are not in positions to move markets but we can for sure make the most of it. I say sell before the dips and then rebuy and have more coins than before.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: March 21, 2018, 11:03:28 AM
I believe that we are the the beginning of mass adoption and hence for me its no brainers that even if bitcoin decreases in value I will just hold it. However if one is really good at understanding market cycles, you may want to sell before the dip and buy the dip to make the most of the situation.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategy to invest in crypto ? on: March 20, 2018, 07:47:33 AM
My strategy is to keep two different staches for crypto. One is for long term investments which I do not touch even if they retrace more than 60% because I have done my research on these projects and am confident of their rise with time in future. Second is for day trading, which I do based on Technical Analysis.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of the ethereum coin? on: March 20, 2018, 07:44:31 AM
I have a small amount of ethereum, I've noticed since january 2018, the price of the ethereum is at $1000, but now it already lost 50% from its recent price. Is this case normal for ethereum coin? Or it is the end of ethereum. (Sorry my intention was not to create FUD, I'm just curious and new to cryptoworld).
Hey, which alt coin did not do a mroe than 50% retrace? If you ask me, eth actually stood up to its groud in these FUD times. Bitcoin went from 20000USD to as low as 6100USD, most other alts did a more than 70% retrace, eth is only only with the least retrace till now. Actually holding up good tbh. However I am not an eth fan and do not own any of it.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are people doing? on: March 20, 2018, 07:42:10 AM
Some are holding and other are panic selling. As of now most are holding and also the long term trend has yet not broken. 200 day moving average for the long term trend also acted as a support, atleast for now. You may want to visit twitter from time to time if you want to understand the general mood of crypto traders.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: March 20, 2018, 07:39:28 AM
Bitcoin will drop to $3000 soon, trust me

Anything is possible tbh. However no one is 100% sure of how things will unfold. If someone is saying things like trust me or for sure this or that will happen, they are either fooling others or themselves. You cannot predict how markets will react, can just make money during a bull or bear.
