121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: December 27, 2017, 02:36:04 AM
Saving bitcoins actually is a better strategy than waiting for the right time to buy it at a lower price. Sure we can see that the prices are getting higher these days, but a remaining question is when would be the time that you can buy one at a lower price again. We can't exactly tell, especially nowadays. If you have bitcoins, save them. If you plan to sell them, be reasonable and don't sell all of them. Treat it as how you treat your savings, you don't want it all to go away instantly.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i buy ethereum with all of my money ? on: December 26, 2017, 02:00:44 PM
I wouldn't suggest to use ALL your money on it, since it's not that high compared to bitcoin. I would suggest though is estimate how much are you willing to spend on it without being broke. The essence of buying an altcoin is to have an alternative to bitcoin that you can still make a profit out of. It might take some time for it to grow, but it'll be worth it if it rises, and not that painful if it dips.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet to any altcoin on: December 26, 2017, 01:26:04 PM
I personally would prefer MyEtherWallet. It's more safer since they generate the address and private key as a file that you can save on another location, so you wouldn't have to think about the security (though it might be a little challenging to maintain if you're frequently using your wallet).
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: December 26, 2017, 01:10:06 PM
Well, the point of cryptocurrency is to decentralize a currency that's currently in the hands of a state or government, so I think it can't replace physical money, but it's just an alternative if ever that you wouldn't want to have your physical money to be exchanged to another currency. Besides, because of the decentralization, you can use it anywhere in the globe. Smiley
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: December 26, 2017, 12:37:08 PM
I think bitcoin wouldn't end yet, especially when it's just getting popular nowadays. I'm seeing your question as if it would end badly (like running out of value or something), and for that, I think it wouldn't, since we treat it today as something worth giving a shot at it. We might not see any downside to it yet, but just be prepared if something would happen.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: December 26, 2017, 12:21:53 PM
I got to agree. There isn't any perfect time to invest since the current status of cryptocurrencies is unstable. I would suggest that if you see the opportunity that the prices are lower, then it should be a good time. Don't go for "I'll wait for another lower price than this" since there might not be any lower than what on that opportunity, so grab it while you can.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: December 26, 2017, 12:06:55 PM
They might, or might not. If they know the game, they can, or even just buy their coins and wait for it to go up the scales, then sell it. They even might have more altcoins than bitcoin, but one thing's for sure, it they'll make a profit out of it, then they'll surely be in.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: December 26, 2017, 07:57:16 AM
For me, I think the safest altcoin that lingers is Eth/Ethereum. It's pretty stable if I may say, and somehow on a midrange price if you're planning to buy one. Of course, investing on it will be risky, but if you're up for it, then no one's stopping you. Smiley
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: December 26, 2017, 06:54:54 AM
I knew about bitcoin back when I was in college. I remember hearing it from a professor or classmate. It wasn't much of a big thing back then, just an alternate way for paying something. I'm still surprised how it suddenly grew in a few years span. Back then 10 bitcoins were just enough to get you through the day.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 26, 2017, 05:59:02 AM
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies might be big so far, but we got to be ready when it falls. Sure we can say that it would take some years to fall, but we can't say also that it's already stable due to its fluctuation. Don't let the numbers sink in when you're thinking about it, look at is as an "alternative" to what we have now. It can't directly replace real money, but it can sure be a backup if you don't have money.
131  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 26, 2017, 04:19:27 AM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.

Well, I agree that this could be weird as well since Bitcoin has been in the cryptocurrency world for about 10 years. Bitcoin has made it successful and it will be harder for many to let go down of it's value. Bitcoin can do the same thing again and again as many people believe in it more that ever.

137  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: October 04, 2017, 03:41:03 PM
If you will ask me, I would suggest that you should not stop buying bitcoin especially that nowadays bitcoin is cheaper than the past few months. There is a saying that you can "buy low, sell high later". Bitcoin is experiencing a downfall and the best time to buy is now. The future has it's own stories so better to risk now than tomorrow.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: October 04, 2017, 07:58:48 AM
