81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: January 11, 2018, 10:24:40 PM
For me, altcoin wouldn't die. Though altcoin was based on bitcoin, it's still an independent crypto from BTC, and can survive without it. The only factor that would be in altcoin after that is going to fiat from the altcoin.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 11, 2018, 06:55:14 PM
As the others say, I also believe in ICO. Maybe you just have to be thorough in researching about ICOs since all are different. Check out ours on my signature if you want, we do have a promising ICO for Legolas. Smiley
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: January 11, 2018, 11:02:47 AM
I know a guy who invested in Electroneum, and he's somehow making a profit out of it in the past few months (I think he invested October last year). I say it's not a scam. It may look sketchy, but if someone's making a profit out of it through investing and mining, then it should be good.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REALLY GOOD and USEFUL altcoins recommendations on: January 10, 2018, 09:05:24 PM
If you want to be assured in the new projects that are around, try making some research about it through the ANN thread that they have here on the forum. What you're seeing is actually what they'll tell you since that's what they're holding on to, so you would most probably see the same lines for different ICOs. Try to check mine on my signature, and take a shot at it. You wouldn't know if it's good and useful unless you've tried it.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: January 10, 2018, 08:15:15 PM
ICOs can be a great investment once they explain the project further, and maybe after it, and the coin would be in the market. I would suggest to check out the actual ANN Thread of the ICO that you'd like to invest on (Maybe through the member's signature), and see from there the profile of the project. Some may not last a while, but some might break through.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest ICOs January - February on: January 10, 2018, 10:58:58 AM
SwissBorg seems nice, I have to agree, but if you have time, take a look at Legolas by checking my signature. It's starting out good also, and have more plans in the coming months. Smiley Pre Sale has also started.

Hello

We are PARKGENE PTE LTD

We have just launched our Official Signature Campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2704941.0

Not sure if I'm the only one getting an error with the link of your Signature Campaign. Can anyone confirm if the link is working?

I don't know why they wrote that they have already launched their campaign ... this link leads to nowhere.
Their last post is information about the closing of this suspicious campaign and the announcement of opening a new one from their account:

I just found the new campaign. Apparently, it was moved by the moderator to the Trashcan. Link to its movement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2705418.0

Saw that thread too earlier. Seems the dude who posted in this thread is the real one. Maybe the link should be updated so it can be added on the list somehow, as well as the new campaign that I saw.

91  Economy / Economics / Re: How to invest in bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 07:35:13 AM
Basically when you want to invest on bitcoin, you would need to afford one, or fractions of bitcoin, depending on how much you would want to invest on. You can invest $100 worth of bitcoin nowadays, and just wait for it to grow. The game's kinda like the stock market to give you an idea. Trading's the main thing. So once you see the price of bitcoin going high, you have an option to trade it, or sell it.

95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about ADX? on: January 01, 2018, 12:38:30 PM
Thanks for the info mate. The coin has some potential this year, since it's started quite strong in the past year. Investing might not take too long to get some profit out of it. I see it as one altcoin that can be an alternative to Eth in the future. With it pumping in China, I wouldn't be surprised if it grew faster than other altcoins out there. I'll consider this investment also for altcoins.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: December 31, 2017, 12:35:02 PM
As much as we want it to happen, unfortunately, BTC will always be on top. It may dipped many times in 2017, but still, it rose, and continuously growing. That'll continue this 2018, so expect Eth to always be in second place.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exchanges do most use to buy altcoins, newbie starting out on: December 30, 2017, 02:58:38 PM
Binance is the way to go my friend. It's easy to use, up to date with the current status of bitcoin and altcoins. I think they also have a signature campaign in the forum, so either go to their site  to register, or simply click on one of the signatures of any member that you see binance in it. I personally would choose it while bittrex isn't open for new registration until next week.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of bitcoin on: December 30, 2017, 01:51:28 PM
Probably what they fear is because bitcoin/cryptocurrencies are decentralized, and they don't have the power to control it. Normally, the government would fear for something that is beneficial to the community, continually growing positively, and they can't control. I guess their strategy is to manipulate the people, who majority doesn't know that much about cryptocurrency, by saying that it's dangerous to them. It can be easy for them, unless someone would educate them.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: favorite altcoin on: December 30, 2017, 12:47:03 PM
My favorite altcoin would have to be Eth, because first, it's just under bitcoin in terms of value, second, it's a safe investment if you want to go for long term, and third, the price is rising slow and steady without much fluctuations in the previous months of this year. XVG comes in second for me since it's kind of rising nowadays, and it's also a good investment for altcoins.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is coming on: December 30, 2017, 12:22:44 PM
BTC made some big dips and peaks in 2017, so in 2018, hopefully the value would continue to rise despite of the dips that'll happen. Dips are still important since others use that opportunity to buy the coin on a lower price, and wait again for it to peak further. I myself might consider buying if the dip is big, and the price is right, then invest for the next years to come.
