Well you're in the right place...once you move up in the forum, you can try participating in some bounties. But for now, continue to learn and contribute to the community here and use the search function in the upper right to make finding answers a little easier  Smiley

Good luck!

Check out crypto samurai. This is a great go-to channel for crypto news.

Hope this helps!
123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: beginner questions -- wallet on: May 02, 2018, 04:47:25 PM
Hi. I am newbie here. Can someone tell me what wallet is the best to use for saving my bitcoin.
blockchain.info
https://www.coinbase.com/
Here are two online wallets for bitcoin storage, which are rated by the crypto community as safe and quality to store and save your bitcoin.
Or you should use a hardware wallet if you can, to ensure your bitcoin is the best.
Trezor and KeepKey
Info details:
https://trezor.io/
https://www.keepkey.com/

blockchain wallet, maybe, but not coinbase--that's not a wallet.

OP, check out the list  LFC_Bitcoin posted for you. Something tells me you're not in a position to go the hardware wallet route and instead need something a little more convenient. Try something like jaxx on a desktop or breadwallet, greenaddress on your phone.

Tread carefully and don't go for anything that sounds too good to be true. That said, you can try coinpot.co or faucethub.io--both of these are pretty popular and offer a variety of altcoins.
125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why not every crypto is decentralized ? on: May 02, 2018, 02:12:35 AM
Instead of a ‘stick-it-to-the-man’ attitude held by many Bitcoin enthusiasts, Ripple is attempting to integrate blockchain technology with the existing financial network...combining the forward movement of cryptocurrency while innovating the way money is transferred across borders.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it ok? on: May 02, 2018, 02:07:57 AM
You can post as much as you'd like as long as your activity is over 14. Otherwise, your posting is limited.
127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for assistance with ICO Review site on: May 01, 2018, 05:28:00 PM
Looks great, very clean, keep it that way! Once the ICO tabs and airdrop/bounty section is complete you should post this in the bounties and/or services threads. There are so many newbies asking 'how to know which ICO/bounty is a good?' --It'd be great to refer them to one central location like this!
128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Building otc exchange on: May 01, 2018, 05:11:07 PM
Not sure where to post this...

I was wondering if buildning otc exchane btc-eth-ltc-zec-xlm is worth an ico. I know how to build it, i just dont have monetary iniciative. Is this worth anything?

I think its also possible to implement eth on lightning network. Is this worth a thing?

Perhaps marketplace->service announcements would be a better place?

Good luck mate!
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think About Dropil?? on: April 30, 2018, 05:23:27 PM
Seems different to other automated traders in that instead of manually switching 'modes' or 'strategies' in accordance to the market changes, dropil's automated bot(s) do it for you. The team is also very transparent, which is a very good thing for a young project. There's more on this token here: https://steemit.com/dropil/@wardj/dropil-ico-review

Learn the fundamentals of btc first, there are plenty of btc 101 guides on the internet, I've included one from our blog in a link below. Secondly, or maybe even before, read up on the blockchain tech/distributed ledger, after all, it's the technology behind cryptocurrency. There's a link to a blockchain guide below as well. Once you feel a little more comfortable with these, then move on to wallets--how to securely store your coins, how to perform transactions to and from your wallet. After this, look into exchange platforms. Start thinking about how you want to purchase bitcoins, credit card, in person, a bank transfer? There are exchange platforms that support these methods better than others. There's no right way to start your research, but it is imperative that you gain a basic understanding of all these aspects within crypto before you start trying to invest a large amount of funds. Remember, btc transactions are irreversible, so triple check everything before hitting 'send!' Also, never invest more than you can afford to lose and most importantly, be patient!

Careful with MEW phishing sites. Coinomi's mobile wallet is a solid alternative.
132  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wiring vs. transfering on: April 30, 2018, 01:51:12 AM
Wiring is traditionally faster than ACH transfer (many users say it take about 24hrs), however the disadvantage is that there is a fee involved-I believe it's $10. ACH transfers are free but can take up to 5 days to complete. In the end, however, both methods can be hit with delays as coinbase and many other exchanges are usually overloaded.

133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multisignature wallet services on: April 27, 2018, 05:22:02 PM
Going off of what was said by AdolfinWolf, you'll be hard-pressed to find that combination just yet. Copay, armory or Electrum as suggested above are great multisig options. As far as multi-currency wallets, you can go for software wallets such as Coinomi or Jaxx.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose great project to support to? on: April 27, 2018, 05:00:03 PM
Apart from the development team and the project's white paper, it proves helpful to look at the project's website and social media presence. Not if they have any of the two, but the content. Does it seem legit or does it look like a classic, cheap scam site? Do the followers seem like real people? Is the team transparent and willing to answer inquiries? As you can see from the answers in these posts, there is no definite outline for choosing an ICO, though many people will agree on certain requirements. In the end, however, it is up to you, even the best looking projects will fail or turn out to be scams from time to time. But If you truly believe in a project then by all means participate. Below is our ICO guide from our blog, feel free to check it out if you'd like to learn more!

135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Vs. Other Cryptocurrency on: April 27, 2018, 12:18:15 AM
It doesn't necessarily need to be that way, but BTC has a good projection for the future and it's held strong for a long time, so it's "less risky" that investing long-term into altcoins. If you find an altcoin that you want to invest in long-term, you can do that too. Some crypto dies, some are successful. Just do your research and make the choice that's best for you.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet for begginers on: April 27, 2018, 12:12:14 AM
Well, there are a lot of factors to consider when deciding which wallet to choose, which we go into detail about in our blog post: bit.ly/WalletGuide

But to get started, some user friendly wallets would be Jaxx, MyEtherWallet, Exodus, Trezor, or Ledger Nano.

Hope this helps  Smiley

Luckily, Lightning Network is in beta testing to figure out how to help with some of these issues; It will allow more technological capability within the blockchain. We go into more detail about this on our blog post, so check it out  Smiley

139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Trading Help! New Here... on: April 25, 2018, 10:25:49 PM
Hey guys, I'm all signed up with binance, coin square, and coin base. I already funded my binance and hold a bit of XRP/TRX....just to get my feet wet.
Can anyone share resources on where I can learn about different coins, coin news, ICO's I can purchase. Swing trades and long term holds? I'm clueless as to where I can find info on this stuff. Any help or a point in the right direction would help....mean time, I'm combing through this site.

Hey kabizzle!
I'll give you some trader/investor advice:
- Have a diverse portfolio. This means you shouldn't just go all-in on one coin. You should buy 5-10 with most of your funds. Then with your leftovers, you can put into 20 other coins.

- Don't spend more than you can afford to lose.
- Usually don't buy on pumps.
- HOLDing is easier for your mental health and can be more effective than day-trading.
- Try not to look at crypto every day. You will go crazy.

My top 4 crypto picks:
LBC (LBRY)
DCR (Decred)
PART (Particl)
FCT (Factom)

Yeah, Decred has a lot of backing as a game changer to the crypto world. It definately has a great potential to receive traction among crypto users.
