121  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: May 29, 2018, 05:01:22 AM
I do not think that it is such a good strategy.
It is always wise to diversify your investments so the risk of losing profit is very minimized.
Yes, I do agree that bitcoin has a greater potential than alts but that can change indefinitely change - bitcoin is very unexpected.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: May 29, 2018, 04:45:47 AM
China is most likely to be a superpower country, I was quite surprised it still is not considered to be in the present.
It has a really great potential especially economically, they are always to be described as disciplined and profit-bound individually.
No one exactly knows what they have come up, a lot fear them.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think capital controls in China will impact bitcoin price? on: May 29, 2018, 04:30:32 AM
I think somehow, in a way - yes, policies in China can affect its price.
China has a very big population and the value of bitcoin depends on its demand-supply system. The more popular it is, the more people investing on it, the higher its value gets. Quite a big number of bitcoin users can be hypothetically stated that are from China and knowing that they have banned them, then the number of users is less and thus quite decreases the price, in a way.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: May 29, 2018, 04:07:51 AM
I would agree to the many people saying that it is not recommended and really risky - you are risking you and your friend's future easily in a wrong decision.
Only put in money and invest a percent of your money to cryptocurrencies which you can afford to lose, I would still stick some money to traditional pension aside from the investment portfolios if I were you.
Only God knows what can happen, bitcoin may soar or may fail; but whichever, at least you have assurance with your finance in retirement.
Bitcoin is very unexpected.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: May 29, 2018, 03:45:17 AM
Yes, I do agree to the most that Apple will probably not accept bitcoin but rather create their own platform to accept digital money.
Apple is definitely a popular brand and has established a name for itself so I do not see why they cannot deem their own coin.
Not to mention that bitcoin is really volatile which mean that they have to adjust their products' price so constantly and that is quite a bit the hassle for both parties.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: May 29, 2018, 03:26:13 AM
This was in 2014 lmao.
But yeah, that time was super perfect to buy bitcoin - seriously, less than $700? The earlier you invest on bitcoin, the better; always mind the current price though.
It really has a great potential and would even soar as time pass by especially as its popularity is gaining too well.
Always put to mind to buy when the value drops, hold for the most time possible and sell when its peaks.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: May 29, 2018, 03:11:29 AM
It depends on the disability of the person, of course you cannot really rely that those who are not really into their mindsets to manage it that well.
I guess that investing into bitcoin can somehow help them to have an additional source of income in buying like medications or something.
It is a good option to not depend on the government, it often ends up being taking for granted (at least in my country lol).
It depends on the willingness of the person, that is pretty unwell if you force them.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: What language should I learn next? on: May 29, 2018, 02:49:17 AM
I would say that either Mandarin or Japanese is good enough.
China is a superpower country and it progresses well with its technology and economy. Even though it banned cryptocurrencies, they can always change their mind and update their policies. Japan, on the other hand, has really advanced technology and a great potential on its economy as well - not to mention Japan is one of the countries that have most potential on attracting tourists.
Learning a language or two aside from English is an advantage enough so either works fine.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto market demand is increasing on: May 25, 2018, 07:31:26 AM
It is a good news for people who use invested in them, popularity of bitcoin means and equal to the rise of its value.
Popularity can attract more investors as they love seeing steady growth of value, especially if you are doing the buy low and sell high scheme; it affects the demand-supply relationship of the coin. Just hoping that they would not fall to wrong speculations and panic sell their coins that contribute to more drop.
Popularity and the value of bitcoin both goes hand in hand.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: May 25, 2018, 07:13:57 AM
I am from the Philippines, too, and this is such great news!
Bitcoin has so much benefits and advantages starting on each individuals using it for transactions to the economy of the governments in general.
It serves as another source of income for many Filipinos and can take in money as if they were overseas workers.
Glad to see people are able to see the positive side of the crypto more and more over the common "it will be easier to scam and be involved in black markets and illicit activities" ideologies over the influence of false news and the lack of proper inquiry of education due to being reluctant.
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does speculation affect bitcoin negatively? on: May 25, 2018, 05:47:48 AM
It does, speculations can affect the value of bitcoin negatively.
Especially if it is related to "failing" of bitcoin, it will influence a few of the users to panic sell their coins contributing to the dump and somehow to the drop of the price depending on the volume they dumped.
Speculations can affect it positively still, too, if it is about the rise of the value or constant, steady growth, it can attract more buyers and investors into bitcoin changing the demand-supply of crypto thus increasing value.
Knowledge is a first in the field to not fall into false speculations and lose profit.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines Welcomes Fintech Companies on: May 25, 2018, 03:07:02 AM
I for one is from the Philippines and I deem this as a great news.
Having a foreign company on the country supporting and relating to cryptocurrency can influence and finally change the negative ideology of accepting bitcoin. Companies reduce the rate of local unemployment and contribute on tax payment.
Hopefully this will yield a significant and positive change Grin
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's suppose that Bitcoin became universal (used everywhere you go) on: May 25, 2018, 02:15:51 AM
Pretty sure that if bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies are to be adopted, governments will have to impose regulations concerning it to still impose tax which is ought to be hard as it is anonymous and decentralized. Either maybe it just depends on honesty of the people or they will have to create a system.
Though it would be really quite hard to pay bitcoin due to its high volatility, prices for services and product will always have to constantly adjust.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: May 24, 2018, 03:59:46 PM
Yes, I do agree that bitcoin may somehow, in a way help improve the a troubled economy.
It can be a source of money by investments, trading, gambling, mining, bounties and etc. which can reduce unemployment rate of the social unit. It "takes in" money which in the indefinite long run can deflate the value of fiat, take in the considerations of describing it as foreign workers that import money supply - definitely better than printing more paper money trying to feel rich or loaning  big sum from other countries without an exact assurance to pay for it as change in economy may not even happen.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: May 24, 2018, 03:34:24 PM
Investors like the slow and steady growth in bitcoin while traders like the strong upward spike growth.
I honestly like the strong upward spike growth, it paves the way for new traders willing to have another source of income and they only have to be patient and gain knowledge to not sell their coins too easily and through panic on wrong speculations. It is given that the value of bitcoin will soar in the future so I do not really mind the volatility. Not all have the time and patience making long-term investments.

Both are the same honestly, strong upward spikes just have the thrills and more profit if done correctly.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: May 24, 2018, 12:34:08 PM
Many believe that the future of traditional fiat or paper money is cryptocurrency.
We have entered the digital era to which all matter in the society is transitioned ergonomically and more convenient - generally better than everything people had came up in earlier period. We can describe cryptocurrencies including bitcoin as more technologically advanced and in a way, better than fiat money. Though societies have to consider that each individual can access the technology needed for crypto, education on the matter initially and that would take quite a lot of time, money and effort.

So yes, its future is very great to say at least on my part.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: May 24, 2018, 05:26:56 AM
Yes, I think that the idea of governments making their own cryptocurrencies to transition over fiat is very plausible in the future.
Pretty sure that it will somehow still be like the fiat, just digitalized and easier to transfer. Governments will have to create efficient regulations for the use of their own cryptocurrencies to avoid illegal activities like scamming and involvements in black markets, etc.
Not in the current times though, not all people have access to technology to which it relies on, internet is very much an expensive resource to acquire for quite a lot of countries. In a century, it may, in my opinion but we will have to know.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: What is The actual senses about bitcoin for common people ? on: May 24, 2018, 04:49:16 AM
I think that for most of people, they see the negative side of bitcoin more than the positive.
They support traditional paper money more as it did had come a long way and its system is great enough for them. They see bitcoin has to being used more on scams and black market knowing how convenient digital money can be transferred from a place to another.
As well as the fact that they see bitcoin as too complex and too much technological stuff, they are reluctant to use it and actually know better of the cryptocurrency so they stick to the common opinion influenced especially by government that does not really support the idea.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: The best investment you ever made? on: May 24, 2018, 04:34:02 AM
I have not really have made investments as I currently do not have the funds for it yet.
But I do a quite lot of reading on making sound and successful investments that hopefully I can apply in some time in the future to maximize my profits and reduce the risks of loss - knowledge is key!
All I do at the moment is to earn BTC through signature campaigns and I plan to hold them off for a long period of time, only to cash out a small percent when I actually need it for emergencies.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 24, 2018, 04:19:40 AM
I honestly do not believe in predictions and speculations of any kind.
It is cryptocurrency. Volatile. Hard to predict. Not to mention that the value depends on the users itself and the concept of demand-supply, you cannot really expect them to do what you expect them to. They can always sell their coins for panic and contribute to the dump dropping the price or hold them off; always and ever their decision.
But it has a great potential and its popularity is increasing, it is given that its value will soar. It is up to people to be patient and correctly manage their crypto funds on themselves.
