121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QUSD (QUSD) Low-Volatility Stablecoin "QUSD token" [OFFICIAL] on: February 15, 2019, 04:18:45 PM
Nobody got back to me regarding the contradiction that you offer a low volatility stable coin. A stable coin should have no volatility at all in a best case scenario.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: February 15, 2019, 04:17:38 PM
I have a question abt a bounty program or airdrop at here  I have attraction on some social network projects like this project.

This project doesn't even have a leader or developers anymore if I am not mistaken here. Hence, there won't be any promotional campaigns in the foreseeable future, or maybe not at all ever.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one is using dapps on: February 15, 2019, 04:16:45 PM
Can't these Dapps be used to create immersive gaming or are the devs just interested in squandering funds generated from their token sales? It is mind boggling that not a single Dapp is relevant today despite all the buzz about Cryptocurrency

Many of the Dapps just don't deliver any surplus utility over there centralized pendants.

It is and will be for quite some time about financial speculation.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: February 15, 2019, 04:15:34 PM
The picture of the crypto market looks extremely unpredictable and it makes no sense to make long-term forecasts, especially in modern realities. Before you take a step, you need to think 100 times, weigh everything.

I can deal better with long-term forecasts than short-term forecasts in this arena. Long-term the prospects are great in particular for the major coins and platforms, but short-term it is impossible to make a good guess.
So the easiest way to work especially when a large amount invested, make a plan and just follow it, to work at a short distance, this is the unpredictability does not give

Sticking to a thorough plan is a good strategy, but down the line you have to account for unexpected events and those are frequently happening in this area.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: February 15, 2019, 04:14:47 PM
I strongly stand by the regulation of initial coin offerings.
This is because it is too easy to scam investors through initial, coin offerings and this has become a reoccurring crime.
Doing ICO a lot of project teams have taken different means to fool investors into parting with their money and make their projects seem to be the next best project on the blockchain but with more regulation in which all the aspects of initial coin offering is carefully scrutinized before the fund-raising I believe it will drastically reduce the scams in this process.

Regulation is a complex term though. The community could find ways to regulate it themselves through the application of game theoretical solutions. It is not only about regulators as we know them.

We need to set higher standards when it comes to giving our money away. That's for sure.
We cannot do that, we have the idea but the implementation of the regulation has to be coming from the government.
The thing is we are supposed to be independent and that is the essence of being decentralized, but our government won't allow us to operate, they
need to interrupt us to get a share of what we are making, they are greedy and that is what they are by nature.

This is not correct. If we build services like encrypted KYC or proof of developer and that helps prevent scams from happening, it will also contribute to a less government intervention.

That governments are greedy is true because the people running the governments are almost one at the same with those running the big corporations.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 best year for ICO on: February 15, 2019, 04:12:57 PM
You can expect anything, if the crypto currency again shows its strength and grows in price with a new record or close to it, then 2020 can really be the best year for the ICO

Best year, but what time-frame are you talking about? Ever? No way, there might be much better years to come afterwards. How can anyone here even know?
Crypto currency is so unpredictable that another powerful price increase can happen much earlier than we expect, it is quite possible, for example, in 2020, but we can not exclude the fact that this may not happen at all

This is a reasonable assessment of the overall market. Now I quite convinced that the market will move once again because big players also have an interest in that, but as you say there is no way to expect that with certainty.

128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 13, 2019, 12:54:15 AM
if you ask about invest then i suggest btc because it's the most stable coin.
dont need to look the price everyday, just buy and keep it for 1 or 2 year.
its different if you want to trade, you must choose the great coin at that time, because trading can give you fast profit and also with risk.
Bitcoin first and if you started to become knowledgeable about the market, you can do deeper with these altcoins. Likewise, go for bitcoin for the first time and beginner investors would feel excited on how much you'll make with it. Don't fall for those altcoins that has nothing to do with you and can even make your standing worst of having an exit scam.

In the end you also need a good chunk of luck to hit an alt coin that goes up several times. Many people will tell you it's only about analysis, but believe luck is a good part of the success in crypto.

Using common sense and not getting blinded by greed is important, too.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cyptocurrency never be great again as it was? on: February 13, 2019, 12:44:14 AM
Now the crypto market is really experiencing a strong crisis. But in principle, the situation gradually stabilized. Therefore, I am sure that soon we will be able to notice the active appreciation of good coins. Now you need not to miss the opportunity to purchase reliable cryptocurrencies, while prices remain minimal.
For the short term, maybe cryptocurrency is still going down, but gradually prices will improve. My analysis takes 3 or 4 more years for cryptocurrency to experience its glory like in 2017. At that time everyone participated in buying cryptocurrency until the overload was fatal. Prices finally fell and continued to fall. To restore it takes time, but I'm sure it will return.

Its true to recover, market need more time. Cryptocurrency will rising again when mass adoption happen. No one can make prediction about market movement but if we patient and hold, we will make profits

The market doesn't matter here. Only things that matter are the technology and its usability. If it's easy and advantageous to use, people will start using it. Otherwise not.

That is what makes sense to me. The market tries to anticipate, but it's still very vague which one will make it and which one will not.

Isn't there a tiny little contradiction in your value proposition? Like saying low-volatility stable coin? The whole idea of a stable coin is to be stable.

https://bitcoinist.com/ethereum-eth-dapps-0-volume/

There are now 1375 live ETH dApps.
86% of them had 0 users today.
93% of them had 0 tx volume today.

Across all platforms there are now 1828 live dApps.
77% of them had 0 users today.
85% of them had 0 tx volume today.
Because they are all useless. dapps looks overrated in my opinion dude. Most of them don't even know what means of decentralized is. They are not giving the common usage that can bring demand. That's why they have not even gotten any a users.

You are looking is the wrong direction. Like in every other business, it's survival of the fittest! How many sh*t dice site doesn't have a single user now? It's the same with DAPPS.
From months on, I'm gambling only on DAPPS, because I don't need to trust my coins to any site or authority.

Although theoretically the DAPPS we are talking about here cover a wider range of uses cases than just dice and the statistics are still disappointing.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: February 13, 2019, 12:37:07 AM
START is delisted from Cryptopia before reaching dream $1. Cry Cheesy Well, what will happen now? WDC followed the same path.

That promise is quite old and in fact it never got close to that after the $1 was set as a goal. Well played and maybe he only said it to unload his bag.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⭐ EVOS coin [Hybrid POW+POS+MN] ⭐ New EcoSystem for MN world⭐ on: October 16, 2018, 10:34:27 AM
Price is just a function of supply/demand/manipulation. If some entity wants the price to go up and has the means, there is nothing to stop that from happening.
I would prefer the last option, which states that Price is a function of manipulation.
this is always true, at any case, in any sort of financial markets, including crypto.

The smaller the market, the easier it is to manipulate. Crypto is a tiny market. That's why there is a hell of manipulation going on.
I know but crypto is like gambling if you didnt try to push your luck you're not gonna win right? so im pushing my luck to evos

Sure you got to push your luck, but you can somewhat limit the downside risk by choosing better markets over worse, and doing a good amount of research upfront.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: October 16, 2018, 10:33:13 AM
hi, I am really glad the coin got such a great new dev!

I just saw there is a new windows miner xcoin-miner - but it has like 25/50 detection rate in virustotal - thats preety dark Wink I still have the old miner drk1.2b and it only has 7/50 so what happened? I am using the old miner for now, but should the new one be much faster? Seems to be complete different than previous. I also do not find the page where the new miner got released and discussed, so please someone tell me there is no trojan or whatever.

What do you mean new dev? I think Dash developer eduffield is a legend and very active dev since the Darkcoin days and one of the forerunners in the crypto field, having invented X11 and masternode technologies, he is irreplaceable.

If someone told you that Satoshi Nakamoto is about to leave Bitcoin back in the days, would you have said that he is irreplaceable? And? Is he? Was he?
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN] CRYPTO-HR 🚀 - decentralized cryptocurrency HR database on: October 16, 2018, 10:32:19 AM
blockchain is a relatively new technology, not all people understand its advantages, but it is the development of mankind, and it will not stand still
behind this technology are very big advantages and huge prospects, many of which are not yet open, and we will see new directions in the blockchain in the near future
You are right, the main thing is that there is no interference of the authorities in cryptoeconomics, then everything will be as you say.
And who said that the authorities do not interfere in the cryptocurrency? I think this is obviously a well-designed road for bribes. Corruption has always been and will be only now it has moved to cryptocurrency.
This is a good opportunity to take a bribe and not be caught, and it is not profitable for the authorities to legitimize cryptoeconomics.
well, the crypto industry then has very huge opportunities for shadow business,it can be beneficial to the authorities of different countries

Why would anyone want shadow businesses? It only drives governments away from accepting the revolution.
in many third world countries, unfortunately, the government is very much involved in shady businesses, and illegal activities, such as arms trafficking ,drugs, and this is not surprising

That's kind of a different story, but absolutely true of course. I am just saying that we as a community should drive the revolution in a smart way. If you attack governments, they are less likely to be cooperative.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SafeInsure Coin (SINS)- Insurance for the Blockchain Era- POS+Masternodes on: October 07, 2018, 05:32:38 PM
A revolution in the insurance system that sounds very encouraging. For a long time this field of activity has not been modernized in any way and has not changed, I think the time has come.

Yes, but is the blockchain platform really suitable for this? Now everyone is trying to realize their ideas using the blockchain technology, but is it appropriate in this case?
I think yes, because the blockchain gives us new features and usage scenarios. In addition, it allows the system to be open and transparent.
Yes, but in many respects you have to do a lot of work in order to switch and completely abandon the old technologies. How long can it take?

You know? This technology is a great technology to be developed, as has been proven many projects running with their blockchain technology, though it takes time and adjustments to be able to switch to modern technology but there will be moments of blockchain technology will develop in all aspects of human life.

That is what we all believe to become true one day, on the other hand it is also possible that a completely new and different technology will make blockchain redundant. Who knows?

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ROUND A of Sale] Ternion - hybrid crypto exchange with a fiat gateway on: October 07, 2018, 05:29:09 PM
How many employees are there in your Company?
Hi, we have currently 18 employees. You can check them out on our website when you scroll down to 'Team' section.

Do you actually need so many employees at this point or is it mostly about the customer support and you have a lot of people from different countries with different languages? How many are working on critical things like security/coding?
There are 12 employees working on security and coding. Other employees are responsible for public outreach, partners relations, content creation, design, sales, community engagement, as well as customer support.

That's a good number of people working on the most relevant aspect of this project. Hope you can make some great progress.

With regards to development progress, can you tell us the percentage status of its completion? Is it already more 50 percent complete?

If we evaluate the roadmap, then there is still a year to full functioning. So now the work has been done at best by 30%. The exchange is not even in the beta version yet, since the trades do not function.

So if you estimate to still take a year to complete it, I guess it would be safer to assume that it takes 18 months. There are always surprises in software development, and they tend to be overall negative.
I guess they have taken into account the possible problems that can happen during th development to estimate that dates.

If you read my comment thoroughly you would have noticed that I was talking about so called surprises in software development, meaning incidents which can't easily be anticipated.
