I can confirm there is no 24 hour wait. I started to mine CRC less than 12 hours ago and have already received a stake. (Thumbs Up)

There are 54 Ghs on the network. Hashing power being wasted because the chain isnt moving. 

Current difficulty: 8757.85
Network Hashrate: 51.1 Gh/s
Last block was solved 16 hours ago.
The chain is currently stuck at 6833.

Safe to say something is wrong here.

I deleted the wallet and tried to re sync and it wont go past block 6833.

Any one else having issues with the wallet syncing?

This was addressed in the release that followed 2.0.2.0

First of all backup your wallet.dat. You can make resync by 3 ways,

Delete txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat for resync from network.(takes 7-8 hours/recommended)
Delete txleveldb folder and rename blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat for faster resync from raw blockchain file. (takes 2-3 hours/highly recommended)
Delete txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat, download blockchain.7z with new txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat and unpack it (2-3 minutes/not recommended).

From time to time the explorer gets stuck. The daemon is always on the right block. You can view the block count and number of connections at the bottom.
Its mainly a database issue. With the explorer stuck you can still search heights, addresses and tx ids. I manually have to kill the db injection process and run the cronjob manually.
I apologize if anyone is inconvenienced by this. I have a monitor running constantly.
