Hello, I'm looking to set up a masternode from the Windows wallet.  Can someone direct me to instructions?  I saw the Linux masternode steps, but would like to know if a Windows wallet masternode is possible.  I have a static external IP.

I got a problem, I have downloaded the latest version v2.1.0.0  but i can't run it, so i've deleted it and keep running the version v1.4.5.0-g32axxx. Is that ok? or i have to update it, how?  


Ps: where is the awesome roadmap to get Crave to the crypto billionaires club

This was addressed in the release that followed 2.0.2.0

First of all backup your wallet.dat. You can make resync by 3 ways,

Delete txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat for resync from network.(takes 7-8 hours/recommended)
Delete txleveldb folder and rename blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat for faster resync from raw blockchain file. (takes 2-3 hours/highly recommended)
Delete txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat, download blockchain.7z with new txleveldb folder and blk0001.dat and unpack it (2-3 minutes/not recommended).

So, i need resync with version 2.0.2.0 and then i can update to the latest version right? can you give me a compiled version of 2.0.2.0? thanks

Just download the last release and sync. If its not working, try to compile the wallet yourself.

another issue , my AVG is always blocking when i open crave-qt, it said "detected a malware threat..."  and it push it in quarantine.

It might be the IRC code. Try adding irc=0 to your conf file.  Just a guess.

Yup, that is the issue. I moved my wallets onto vps without antivirus installed. No issue now.

do a "masternode outputs" on the debug console and double check the index number is correct in the masternode.conf file (eg 0 or 1)

Maybe your trying to send spent inputs.

Try the repairwallet command
QT Wallet: Help/Debug/Console type repairwallet
Linux: ./craved repairwallet

Haven't tried myself on Crave, but seen this issue on a number of (pos) wallets. If it's already unlocked for staking, entering your pass to send does not work.
Workaround: Lock the wallet, Unlock fully, Send your coins, Lock, Unlock for staking

It's not an ussue. It's wallet protection mechanism. If you have unlocked wallet for STAKING it's unlocks only for staking and sending coins is disabled. So, if anyone get access to your unlocked for staking wallet it still not get ability to steal your coins.

Thanks for the update dev! Crown has a cool feature that "auto locks" in masternode coin deposits from coin control. This way you don't accidentally send a masternode deposit away when sending coins. Can also unlock it if you wish. Perhaps an idea for a future release down the road.

Edit your masternode.conf file.
I recommend to you generate new privatekey also when changing anything in masternode configuration.
