121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Theory: The Stock Market has Synchronized with Bitcoin on: February 07, 2018, 04:57:31 PM
Been watching the DOW and the ups/downs are almost perfectly sync'd with the price action on Bitfinex.   Strange indeed.  Guess those hedge funds really have a big impact on price.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was bought some bitcoin by sell my land on: February 04, 2018, 04:56:08 AM
No worries, there was a guy that sold his second house for around 646 bitcoins back in 2015.   Everyone was ragging on him at the time.  Well, no one is laughing at 646 bitcoins now.

Switching to BCH due to tx fee loss is crazy.. just look at the bcash transaction amount maybe a few hundred tx's per block. Maybe.. it's a ghost network.   They'll shoot themselves in the foot again by switching to mining it.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 28, 2018, 04:57:00 AM
Seriously?  Coinbase 11,484 and Bearfinex is 11900. LOL

Can tell everyone is waiting for the 8k drop.. all TA's and so forth show it.  Since everyone is waiting on the drop to buy, I think the whales may keep people waiting forever just to mess with them.
127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2018, 05:21:06 PM
Strange thing is you said taking your value out of play.  To me, you're putting it more at risk with the traditional financial services.  My dad before he died had over 5 mil invested... well.. after that nice little dot.com bubble burst he was left with about 750k in his retirement account.  Poof.. just gone.  He passed away shortly after that.

From what I'm seeing.. it won't be much longer until we have another bubble burst.  When companies ever borrowing more money to increase their stock value and the gov buying stocks to prop them up.  Cans can be kicked for a long time but damn.. if they start kicking back.

Just my thoughts.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2018, 04:56:14 PM
I'm not really understanding the need to sell right now.  Have you cashed out all the BCH, BitcoinGold, BCD?  That's what I did and set for a few years at least. LOL
129  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: January 26, 2018, 04:53:11 PM
Seriously, why premined coins are no good?   Ok, I'll make a bunch of phony tokens and keep a big portion.

Then just give out enough for the peasants to use and build up it's value.  Once they built it up, I sell my premined tokens and buy up all the value to keep for myself.

In this case, I dump it and get all the BTC for myself and leave the peasants with a worthless tokens.

Mass adoption? You been smoking to much of the Bhash stuff. LOL   Just look at the transactions on each. 10's of thousands on BTC and a few hundred at most on Bcash.  It's another useless altcoin but you can still believe what you like.

Here go admire the BCH ghost highway.  https://txhighway.com/
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: Transaction fees going down~ on: January 25, 2018, 02:05:37 AM
Plenty of BTC traffic.. unlike the other empty highway. Cheesy   Probably more to do with exchanges batching and certain mining pools stopped spamming.

not sure if scamcoin or shitcoin
https://pool.viabtc.com/announcement/27/
On January 20th, 2018, at block height of 505050, a hard fork will happen on Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain and create a new blockchain asset - Bitvote (Token: BTV; Website: http://bitvote.one/). Bitvote (BTV) increases its blocksize to 8MB and adopts SegWit, which to a large degree has improved it transaction efficiency. BTV supports CPU mining with CryptoNight algorithm and has a total supply of 21 million.

You know the other day with the big mem pool spike. I traced one of the spam address's back to ViaBTC.   They have something going on over there for sure.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am planning to buy 1 BTC. Do I need to wait few more days for a price fall? on: January 24, 2018, 03:17:47 PM
Everyone is waiting for the 8k drop to buy.  They'll probably be waiting for a little while.

134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 23, 2018, 11:18:01 PM
I'm not sure what's going on with the mempool/fees right now, but I don't like it.

Something is going on... Bullish signal ?

I am not going to chime in with substance on this particular point (unless begged) because I already gave my suggestion on this point, about 2 weeks ago.

Yeah yeah, I know... I'm supposed to be happy selling above $10k USD/BTC...

Hmmm. lots of these unable to decode output address's.   https://blockchain.info/strange-transactions

He just did what most newbs do.  They hit the sell button when they shouldn't. LOL
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying my coffee with cryptos! on: January 22, 2018, 04:28:29 AM
Personally, I'd use Litecoin for small purchases.  Very easy to convert LTC/BTC on any exchange.  It also follows the flow of BTC very well.  Not much fluctuation between BTC/LTC pricing when converting.   Others are all over the place.
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 21, 2018, 11:29:27 PM
Just found something strange.  All those sponsor paid ad's are change from "Don't Buy Bitcoin"  to "Buy Bitcoin" and earn 20X your money stuff.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 20, 2018, 08:55:43 PM
Did you actually buy some back in the 9's Bob?  That is like gravy money for ya. LOL  Who the heck needs to cash out when you can make a killing off people panic selling.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Lightning Network will fail on: January 20, 2018, 08:52:19 PM
Yeah, just look at Bcash's 100s tx's vs 80+thousand for Bitcoin. It's so funny to watch the deserted highway.  https://txhighway.com/    Bcash did nothing but make money for the creators.  No one actually uses it.

I believe Litecoin is used much more than bcash and there should be a reversal on bcash/ltc price.
