127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Running two different graphics cards for mining? on: July 08, 2014, 01:30:46 PM
Hey all,

I was lucky enough to acquire an AMD 7990 which will be arriving tomorrow. I currently have a GeForce GTX 670.

I was wondering if it's possible for me to run the 7990 as the primary display driver and still keep the GTX 670 for mining only?

Is it as simple as plug and play? Or will there be more complicated steps I'll need to take to accomplish this? Or is it not possible at all? Keep in mind, I only want to use the older card for mining alone.

Thanks a lot!

It should work but I think you need to open 2 different program, CGminer and CCminer.

Google Chrome as it takes up the least monitor space.

Gotomypc has an app.  Works great to monitor your miner.

Can you share the link please?

If you lived near a tide you could use that for electricity too!

I would love to see pics when this is finished. Please keep us updated

The problem is, ASIC would spoil in few months if it is close to the sea..

Wait, what? How close is "close to the sea"? I live on an island (Singapore) and we're surrounded by sea. Should be I be keeping my ASIC in a dehumidified area?

How close are you to the sea? Singapore is a big island, you might be 10 KM away from sea.
134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PSU that will run two overclocked S3's on: July 08, 2014, 01:25:03 PM
Can someone recommend a Corsair PSU that will easily run two overclocked S3's at 554GH/s.  I was thinking of an AX1200i but would like to know if this will be suitable for running two overclocked S3's at the maximum of 554GH/s.

Get 1600 watt PSU instead, best price for money.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Where to GPU Mine for best profit on: June 25, 2014, 12:49:07 AM
Hi there,

I have 8.800 KH/s Scrypt GPU miner and I am wondering where to point my miners for best profits ( scrypt-n, x11, x13 or NiceHash MultiAlgo ) ?

According to poolpicker.eu there are much better places to GPU mine right now, thing is I don't know how to set up my BAMT & Config Files to do so..

Can someone PLEASE help me out here, I would like to be more profitable with my miners..

I run BAMT and after I purchased my Miners all I had to do is to edit my config file in BAMT with my BTC address and pool data to mine on clevermining..

What do I need to do to be able to mine another Algo ?

Any help is appreciated..

Since your not good with BAMT, why not use window first until you learn more?

In two weeks my card become dead since I have first started mining. I used it every day except half an hour break (2 times). Most of people says that they burnt their cards. I think this cards are problematic and not suitable for mining?

Did you have the same problems?

I have 4 and nothing wrong.. have been mining for like months already..
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 10 Million Dollars to spend on Crypto, which one? on: February 10, 2014, 11:50:58 AM
There's been so many bs threads about investing, with their fake amounts of money, so I thought I'd clear the air and show how legitimate I am, by providing a screenshot of my bank statement.

Now that's out of the way, I'd like ideas on what to invest my totally real money into.

I'm certain my thread is the most legitimate.

Buy a banana and eat it... yummy..
